We had some unique requests that were maybe a little different from how they usually do things, but they were still willing to accommodate us. We had a post-install energy audit performed, and we found that there were a couple of things that they ended up having to come back out to remedy, but Hunter and the crew were great about going over everything with me before and after to make sure we were fully satisfied. I scheduled an attic insulation estimate with Epic Spray Foam. Their representative, Grant, came to…read moremy home and spent more than an hour inspecting and discussing the product with me. I explained that I wanted he existing blown fiberglass insulation removed from the attic floor and was considering replacing it with batt/roll insulation. We also discussed spray foam for the attic walls as another option. After spending more than an hour of my time on the appointment, I did not receive an estimate. The following day, Grant left me a voicemail explaining that he had recently learned the company no longer does batt/roll insulation on attic floors and therefore they would not be providing a quote. This was frustrating because, in my opinion, the company should have known before scheduling and conducting the appointment whether it offered the type of insulation work I requested. And since we had also discussed spray foam for the attic walls-which is Epic's specialty I would have appreciated receiving an estimate for that portion of the project even if they couldn't perform the batt installation. I scheduled the appointment because I was seriously considering having work performed and expected to receive pricing. Instead, more that an hour was spent on an in-home consultation that ultimately resulted in no estimate. Based on my experience, I would recommend that prospective customers confirm in advance that Epic currently performs the exact insulation service they need before scheduling an in-home appointment.

Since this is not an auto accident with ridiculous settlements, hiring an attorney will cost more than the expensive remediation which will still leave you holding the bag. We contacted Brian for a spray foam estimate in our attic spaces. Brian laser measured the spaces, inspected the structure, and walked us through the process. After reviewing quotes from other companies, we chose Insulation over Atlanta. They were not the lowest price, or the highest price, but definitely the BEST value without the attitude or the BS! On installation day, Brian and his crew were on-site on time and got to work. Brian's crew; Alfredo, Antonio, and Alex (Triple A Plus++) are awesome! We put down some protective coverings the night before and they came in and double covered their work areas. AMAZING! They were very respectful and courteous of the property and DID NOT damage a single thing. No marks on the walls, etc. The put protection and covering where and when needed which was a concern for us - we just painted the interior and had new floors installed! Also, they are extremely clean! When they were done in one area, one was cleaning while the other two were moving hoses and spaying foam. We had 6 companies give us estimates for the work, including Brian. Brian's estimate seemed the most thorough and gave us the most realistic diagnosis of the space. When we decided to work with Brian, he was able to get us on the schedule very quickly. His team showed up on time and worked diligently the entire day to get the job done. They were courteous, answered all our questions and were careful moving around their equipment in our home. Our project was a two step process but it was all completed over a weekend and by Monday evening the attic was ready for storage. It now remains at a temperature within 10-15 degrees of the rest of the home.
