Andrew and Justin are very courteous and professional every step of the process, from damage assessment, communication with home insurance, roof replacement operation, and post-project visit. Andrew always makes sure that I am informed of the status of the claim, the next step of project, and all the details on the contract. He is the top notch contractor that I have ever worked with. The April 2021 hailstorm in Georgia wreaked severe damage on our home and roof. Several companies came out to inspect our property, but none of them followed through like REGAL ROOFING, Kennesaw, GA. Regal employs some of the best customer service professionals in the business. The level of service provided by SAMUEL SEWELL was second to none. Homeownwe beware, this company engaged in fraudulent "quotes" and will harass you every step of the way. Let them take three weeks to repair their damage to your siding though. Would never recommend. read more

During the past year, at least 15 representatives from roofing companies rang my doorbell, told me my shingles were defective, and offered to fix my roof at a discount. Since the trustworthiness of roofers in general is lower than it is for any groups except used car salesmen and congress people, I ignored each offer. Then, Colleen from Regal Restoration Services in Kennesaw rang my doorbell with a different pitch. She explained that since the kind of shingles on my roof had developed so many problems, they were no longer manufactured. Since they were no longer manufactured, there was no way to replace them with a similar style. Because of this, some insurance companies were willing to replace the entire roof for just the cost of the deductible. She offered a free inspection to determine if we were eligible. We set up the inspection, Nick checked out the roof, said he believed there were enough damaged shingles to make us eligible, and asked what we wanted to do. We went to the Internet, Angies List, friends, and neighbors to check out our shingles and Regal. We learned that we wouldn't be able to sell our house without replacing the shingles. We found that though Regal is a relatively new company, its management has many years of experience. We also discovered that the reviews for Regal were better than for most roofers, and so we decided to give Regal a try. It's a good thing we did. Nick and the construction team were on time for every appointment, answered questions I had about roofs that no one else ever had, and completed the job -- and clean up -- on our 2000 square-foot roof in a day. Today, we have a new roof for the cost of our insurance deductible. This never would have happened without the considerable knowledge, skill, and experience Nick has in working with insurance companies. I don't know whether roofers in general deserve a bad reputation, but I know that Regal could not be better, more professional, or more pleasurable to work with and that's saying something. I don't know many people who describe replacing their roof as a pleasure. read more

Regal Restoration Services Highly recommended! This how you want ALL of your service providers to perform. Eric is the best and TOTALLY committed to making sure everything is done to the highest standard and ALL problems resolved, including your insurance claim denial! I had the infamous Atlas Chalet shingles on my roof that had really started to show distress after only 9 years - helped by the hail-storm about 5 years ago. The roof was clearly damaged, so I filed a claim and that started the typically bulls..t with my insurance company, USAA. Of course they denied the claim which is standard operating procedure for almost all insurance companies. This is because they are playing a numbers game based on the fact that most people will accept the claim denial, to the financial benefit of the insurance company of course. This is where you, with a great deal of help from Regal, have to get to work with the knowledge and documentation necessary to dispute your claim denial. Regal has done this dance many times before and looking back, it is kind of funny at the totality of ammunition that they provided. Once my insurance company received my personal letter outlining certain facts, along with my indignation that they would treat their customers in such a callous manner, accompanied by supporting documents provided by Regal, it took exactly one day to overturn the denial in my favor. Pretty darn impressive to be sure, but you have to challenge the insurance company in the proper manner and Regal was instrumental in the preparation for doing so. My roof shingle installation had a little drama associated with it. There was a mistake in that the wrong tar paper underlayment material was delivered and was starting to be installed. It was the usual underlayment used on almost all jobs, but I had ordered an upgraded version. Once discovered, the section of new shingles that had been installed were removed and reinstalled with the upgraded underlayment with no additional cost to me. Eric said, "If that's what we agreed on, then that's what we'll do, regardless of cost." Wow! When's the last time you heard a contractor say that!? Mother Nature also contributed her 2-cents by providing a true monsoon like storm the same night my install started - the weather was really crazy here in Cumming for a few weeks before and after the install. Regal was smart to take the precaution of removing only half of my old roof just in case of rain. Still, rain got past the tarps on the roof due to high winds that accompanied the storm, so my kitchen ceiling got a little watered damaged. Regal fixed that as well - no problem. They did exactly what they said they would, handled all problems expediently and courteously. And proved that their reputation was paramount above all else. Call them without hesitation!!! read more

Brad Stusak at Regal Restoration & Consulting did an AMAZING job in advising, processing, and diligently following up with my insurance company (Allstate) and me to provide some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. ALLSTATE was TERRIBLE about approving my claim for my damaged roof with discountinued shingles (Atlas Chalet). OTHER roofing companies had poorly advised me on how to handle the process and frankly, they made many mistakes that led to claim denials (yes, pural). It was downright demoralizing and I had nearly given up until a friend recommended Brad at Regal. He was in touch at all the right moments to ensure our new claim would be approved. He and his team were consummate professionals and the quality of work completed on our new architectural shingle roof is GREAT. I learned the hard way that not all restoration companies have the same level of knowledge and expertise -- REGAL is the ONLY one I recommend! Regal is the worst company to use. There employees are not trained and the final product that they deliver is terrible. If you are in need of a new roof, I would recommend that you really do your homework. Regal pretends to be friendly and honest until a real issue is in front of them and then they backtrack on their previous promises and turn to lying to cover up the mess they have created. We are now left with not only an eyesore or a roof but a roof that will cost double to fix properly. Do not use this company. read more

Structure Medic came in and tore out ALL of my Ductwork- including bathroom fans (not impacted by mold) and inside of my walls and to the downstairs until which wasn't impacted by mold. If there was a duct and they could find it or reach it, they removed it. Leaving no map for repairs. As a result my small claim is now huge as my insurance had to pay to replace the ductwork. Holes had to be cut into my walls in numerous places to pull the new and unnecessary ductwork downstairs. It has been a nightmare that was caused by structure medic. TLDR: I would not hire this company. Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

After several roofing companies made attempts to replace my roof, my decision came as a referral from my neighbor. And after seeing the finished product of a hand full of roofs replaced by Regal Restoration and Consulting in my neighborhood I knew I was onto something Great! Now, I too have a Beautiful and Quality roof that I'm so proud of. I give all my Thanks and Gratitude to Brett Stusak! "Brett was totally amazing"! He not only educated me on the process in getting my roof replaced, he personally walked me through each step along the way, from filing the claim with my insurance company and explaining it in detail, to selecting the best shingles for my home and helped in getting me additional supplements. Brett met the insurance adjuster at my home to ensure all the damage was captured, to include my gutters (which were replaced) and interior damage to my ceiling and wall from leaks from the old roof. Brett is the epitome of customer service. He is very Professional, Personable and a wealth of knowledge in the roofing business. Brett made my roof replacement experience totally painless! Once the claim was filed Regal handle all the paperwork. Brett even gave me a couple of months to see if I would get any leaks after the roof was replaced and then the payment was made to Regal Restoration and Consulting. I'm Happy to report no leaks! Tim from Regal Roofing rang our doorbell one morning and introduced himself and offered to do a quick inspection of our roof for possible damage from wind or storms. He came back later with Justin and inspected our roof taking pictures and marking with chalk where they found damage. They came in to talk to us and show us the damage. They explained the process and helped us to make the initial claim with our insurance company for the damage. Our insurance company sent out an adjuster to also do an inspection of the roof and confirmed what Tim and Justin found. Our claim process started and was approved by our insurance company. We met with Tim to pick out our shingles and got a date for the roof to be replaced. The roofers started early and finished by the end of the day. When they left, there was no mess or debris left behind. We are extremely pleased with our new roof which cost us only the amount of our homeowner insurance deductible. Regal Roofing is highly recommended - these guys handled questions, delivered excellent customer service and provided us a beautiful new roof. read more

Prompt communication and great recommendations when we were picking the right shingle type and color, straight to the point insights about cost-to-benefits, etc. Turnaround between getting in touch with them and having the roof installed was quick! Install team was professional, limited noise as much as they could, and did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards! Team worked fast and final product looks awesome! Despite living in a No Soliciting neighborhood with an additional No Soliciting sign on our front door, this company keeps door-knocking. Each time they are told that we are not interested and it's "No Soliciting", yet they still have the nerve to leave their card in the door after we've shut it. I'd never recommend a company with workers with so little common sense or courtesy. read more

service was fantastic and job done well and on time. Communication was thorough. We had a lot of expensive landscaping done near the house which included a creek, waterfall and koi pond. We needed to replace our roof due…read moreto weather damage, so we thought we'd go all in and replace the siding as well because Escex assured us they did both. In all we spent more than $38,000. From the beginning of the project things went sideways. Our siding salesman promised hardiplank, installed a lesser product that wasn't even the same style. The salesman was fired, but we didn't get what we thought we were paying for. As for the roof, after it was installed, we had a leak that caused some water damage in bedroom, but it was fixed. Fast forward 4 years (we had roof/siding installed in May, 2021), we woke up a few weeks ago after a rainstorm to find water damage in the master bathroom, master bedroom and on the main floor in the kitchen. I called and asked Escex to come look for the leak. Mark Chapin, the roofing manager came out and told us that there was a 'dead spot' on the roof and that he would repair it but it wasn't covered under warranty. He would do the work himself for slightly under $600. I was skeptical, so therefore got another estimate from a well known roofer, who pointed out where they believed the leak came from and why. Below are current day pictures-4 years later. I asked about the quality of work, and the relationship to the leaks., sent emails and left voicemails for Escex Owner ADAM HUMPHREYS-he didn't return any of them. Mark told me he was limited in what he could do because the warranty expired? I wonder if this is the 'quality' Escex is so proud of and if they stand behind this type of workmanship and poor customer service?

Our technician Garrett stayed at our house for over an hour checking out the roof, our attic, and anything that could be causing the leaks. I called my insurance office and they recommended Crestmark again. Things started off well and they had David come out to take some photos to show to Ryan. After some back and forth they got back to me saying that it would be worth filing a homeowners claim. After I filed the claim the adjuster came out and Ryan met him out here. Then came the struggle. Trying to get an estimate was difficult. Ryan would say "I'll have it to you by tomorrow" and it wouldn't happen. It took nearly 2 weeks to get an estimate from Ryan. Finally, I was able to get an estimate. Now, I was trying to schedule the work. I wasn't in a huge hurry or anything, but I needed to know a time frame of when the work might be done. I took another couple weeks to get it scheduled. The siding was replaced and the roof repaired and that went well. As part of the claim they were supposed to pressure wash my house to get the smoke off. Originally Ryan said it would be the next day after the siding was complete, but then said he needed to see when Dale could come. After contacting him about scheduling the pressure washing it took about a week to get a response. Dale came out and started washing, he only worked 15 mins and then he left and was gone for 20 minutes. This happened several times. He rang my door bell at one point and said he was out of gas and wanted to know what I wanted him to do. He also asked if I had any gas. This is really unprofessional. He never finished the job. After a couple days the sun came out and I looked closer at the house and there was bad streaking. I had already emailed Ryan to let him know about the experience with the pressure washer and he never answered. My fiancé texted Ryan about the streaking. He responded very quickly that he would see if they could come back out the next day. That was the last we heard from him and that was a week and a half ago. We ended up renting a pressure washer and doing the job ourselves. I wouldn't use this company again based on how I was treated. They don't care about customer satisfaction once they have been paid.

They did not want to apply that price to the agreed amount and threating me with a lien on her house. I am recieving another amount after the job is done, which I the sole signature on the contract did not sign off on. I do not like to be threaten to take my mother's house or to be taken to court for a job I am willing to honor based on the contract in hand. Beware of the finish product if they believe they deserve more than the agreed upon contract!

He spoke to me the entire time up until the work was being complete. No fault to his. But I expressed to him I didn't have a good experience in the past using mitigators because I feel like some of the work is done to ensure we need to replace whatever is touched by water. They are going to tell you it is by code and policy. However, in my case where things went wrong the amount charged to basically dry my flooded rental was ridiculous and most of the work was unnecessary. Most people will not care because their goal is to bill the insurance company for as much as they possibly can. This time it backfired because the insurance didn't cover it and the so called restoration done which was removing anything that was touched by the toilet water that leak was cut and removed. That includes dry wall, carpet etc. Being that I understand this space, we all know that this all would have to be removed anyway once I hire someone to remodel. So now I am was stuck with almost a $10k bill, and damaged house, and no contact to fix, and this bill is for them to basically removed pieces that was touched (by the way some didn't have to be removed). It was my understanding they was going to handle the job from beginning to end but I guess that is only if the insurance company is paying. Once I was sent to the financial person she assumed I couldn't pay for it and basically only wanted to speak about my payment to them. She apologized for it so no foul there but business wise it doesn't feel good being left with this damage and they get their money and run. The reason I am doing a two star is because Mel was pleasant and answered the phone every time. I will say that this service is not necessary in most cases and if you want to get the most from the insurance company then go for it. But if you have a good contractor, I would go with them and have them go through the insurance company. At least you have an option to approve work, be notified of cost etc. I didn't have the luxury of doing so. Was an very expensive mistake on my behalf but we live and we learn. I take accountability for my part, but could never get them to do the same. Hate to be the first one to leave a not so good rating.
