His work has completely gone downhill, and he clearly has major issues finishing jobs. Most recently, he scammed me out of $470. He promised to order my logs, and weeks later--nothing. First, it was a bunch of excuses, and now he has completely vanished. Worse? He blocked all my phone numbers. There is something seriously wrong here. It's clear he is using customers' money for something else because this pattern of delays, excuses, and disappearing acts is constant. DO NOT pay him upfront. DO NOT hire him. If you ignore this warning, expect to get ripped off. To make matters worse, he also did logs for my friends (who I had originally recommended him to), and they arrived broken. He promised to replace them under warranty. That was almost a year ago. Still nothing. Save yourself the headache and money--hire someone else.

We had a post-install energy audit performed, and we found that there were a couple of things that they ended up having to come back out to remedy, but Hunter and the crew were great about going over everything with me before and after to make sure we were fully satisfied. I have to be completely honest. We didn't do our part on picking correct insurance policy,…read morehowever. When I communicated to ABR and spoke to Mel he was extremely helpful and communitive. He spoke to me the entire time up until the work was being complete. No fault to his. But I expressed to him I didn't have a good experience in the past using mitigators because I feel like some of the work is done to ensure we need to replace whatever is touched by water. They are going to tell you it is by code and policy. However, in my case where things went wrong the amount charged to basically dry my flooded rental was ridiculous and most of the work was unnecessary. Most people will not care because their goal is to bill the insurance company for as much as they possibly can. This time it backfired because the insurance didn't cover it and the so called restoration done which was removing anything that was touched by the toilet water that leak was cut and removed. That includes dry wall, carpet etc. Being that I understand this space, we all know that this all would have to be removed anyway once I hire someone to remodel. So now I am was stuck with almost a $10k bill, and damaged house, and no contact to fix, and this bill is for them to basically removed pieces that was touched (by the way some didn't have to be removed). It was my understanding they was going to handle the job from beginning to end but I guess that is only if the insurance company is paying. Once I was sent to the financial person she assumed I couldn't pay for it and basically only wanted to speak about my payment to them. She apologized for it so no foul there but business wise it doesn't feel good being left with this damage and they get their money and run. The reason I am doing a two star is because Mel was pleasant and answered the phone every time. I will say that this service is not necessary in most cases and if you want to get the most from the insurance company then go for it. But if you have a good contractor, I would go with them and have them go through the insurance company. At least you have an option to approve work, be notified of cost etc. I didn't have the luxury of doing so. Was an very expensive mistake on my behalf but we live and we learn. I take accountability for my part, but could never get them to do the same. Hate to be the first one to leave a not so good rating.

I was extremely disappointed with Alex and Trimelogic. My small cottage remodel began in the end of…read moreAugust 2025 and was due to be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. By the end of March 2026, it had not been completed, and I fired Alex and his crew and got another group to finish the work. Much of what was done on my screened-in porch had to be removed or corrected. None of the supporting post were plumb, overhead supports were not level, and the sanded plywood that was installed as a ceiling for my carport was attached with trim nails. Needless to say, the ceiling did not stay in place. As for the inside of my cottage, architectural plans were not followed and rooms were not built to the specified size. I have wall switches that do not activate anything. The plumbing of the sink underneath the kitchen and bath have such long hoses so that the space is hardly usable for storage. The LVP flooring has cracked and needs to be repaired in two rooms. The overall lack of communication and sometimes showing up to work caused tremendous hardship on me. Because the project was not finished by the projected date, I had to live with my daughter for six months, and reschedule delivery of appliances. I found Alex to be overtly pleasant, but he did not listen to my concerns, built things the way he wanted to do them in spite of the architectural drawings, and provided many many excuses for why he did not show up on time. For example, he didn't work on one particular day and when I texted him to ask, why, he said they weren't coming because he didn't like the look of the sky. Although there were clouds, it never rained at the job site. Another issue of concern is that Alex did not get a to do the . As a contractor, I was under the impression he took care of all of the for the remodel and addition of the porch. My new crew had just begun working when a code enforcer drove up and said that all Work had to stop. The office had received an anonymous phone call saying that I was doing construction without proper permits. My new contractor took care of this problem that very day. I find it extremely odd that anyone could see what was going on at my house since I am surrounded by trees, and there's no way to see my house as cars drive-by. How would anybody know that a permit had not been granted when I didn't even know that?
