About 25 of us had a neighborhood happy hour yesterday. For some, it was their first visit to the Fork & Fire. Based on the mood of the group, they enjoyed the afternoon. The service, food & drink was great. Serving a group this size has many challenges for the staff. They did an exceptional job in making the experience lots of fun.....at least for us 25! My thanks to John, Chelsea & the rest of the servers for a great afternoon. We were a noisy group & hope we did not disturb the rest of patrons. read more

Fork & Fire is the only food truck that returned my call, I called 6. They responded within 24 hours. FNF came from Tucson to Mesa to do an Employee Appreciation lunch for our staff. They served approx 40 people gave a 7 minute window from time of order and they were right on!! The food was delicious, service great and everyone enjoyed the menu and food. I had the street taco's and mac & cheese both outstanding. Everything that was coming away from the window looked awesome! I would highly recommend them for an event that you might have coming up. We plan on calling them back for other events in the future! Nice job guys!! read more

Great food truck! Rented it for a party and EVERYONE was impressed! The owner is super friendly and very very accommodating!

I was hoping for decent brisket given the introduction on their website about the 3 owners BBQ experience. I was really hoping because it is so nearby Literally 5 minutes. Major disappointment. Other members of my dinner party ordered ribs. The diners at the next table , when leaving stopped by our table and asked if we had the ribs. A discussion then.ensued about the dryness and general mediocrity of the ribs. The other diner ( not in.our party) said the tip off was how the ribs were covered with excessive sauce to cover the dryness. My test dish at any BBQ place is the brisket. (Full disclosure - I'm a long time member of the Kansas City Barbecue Society - if you know what that betokens). The brisket I had was (to start with) a poor grade of beef. It was excessively fatty - way beyond "moist" status acceptable. I could not discern a smoke rink and indeed there was almost no smoke aroma or flavor. The "bark" was wanting. The meat was hardly "fork tender" and indeed a I had to ask for a knife - none was present on the table. The manager , to his credit, volunteered that he had gotten comments from other diners this evening that the neat was very fatty and he would " talk with his kitchen manager" The manager offered to send me a few slices of lean brisket . I demurred. I'd had " enough." The sides were uninspired ; an acceptable salad , a tasteless coleslaw and a Texas Toast that was not Texas Toast ( which is supposed to be at least 3/4 to 1 inch thick , crispy , and toasted on both sides.) Fortunately I don't have to drive to Chandler any longer to get real quality brisket now that an outlet of R***'s has opened in South Tucson. My dinner companions agreed we all had a disappointing experience and will not be back. Live and learn. ( I wonder if years ago the food truck served decent BBQ.Sometimes scaling up to brick and mortar doesn't work." read more

Awesome food and service!! Loaded Mac and Cheese was delicious!

Incredible food and great service!! Very attentive staff, clean restrooms and great patio view.

Glad to have BBQ back in Oro Valley! Great people and even better food. We had the brisket and ribs and the loaded Mac n cheese. The brisket was moist and well cooked and the ribs were wonderful. The loaded Mac n cheese is enough for 3 people and delicious. Best thing was the green chili corn bread. Absolutely delicious. Will be back soon! read more

Food was good. Great environment. What really stood out and will keep us coming back is the customer service. Prices were reasonably considering the current cost of meat. Great to have good bbq on this side of town. read more

Food was awesome! Even had deviled eggs! Loved it! Very pleasant experience waitress was great as well! Very attentive!

This place is Awesome.... Jalapeño poppers to start, ribs, chicken fried steak, tuna salad.. All great. View of the mountains, great porch. We will be back read more

Highly recommend Fork and Fire! We were there Sunday Oct 2nd, had Ahi Tuna Tacos and Pork Tenderloin with french fries. The Tacos were so yummy, 3 of them, huge tenderloin with seasoned fries that were the best I've ever had. This is not the original BBQ place that started there, and I can say I will definitely be back!!! read more

Okay so went there on Sunday and other than my waitress Hannah who was very sweet and attentive and Incredibly polite not much else is left to be desired for me here. First off it's expensive. The other thing is I got the brisket and I did get the combo plate with the pulled pork. If you only got one or the other you would have been sadly disappointed on the amount of food that they give you. Not only that but the sides are expensive I mean, $2 for a piece of Texas toast. Also the meat had no flavor it's obvious that they want you to slather the meat with the barbecue sauce that they have. I'm not that kind of person I would much rather have great tasting meat and sauce as something to enhance it not something solely to make the meat taste better. I went I tried I won't be going back. read more

Great ribs and wonderful pulled pork. Will always have this restaurant on our favorite list

Ridiculously good chili dog. The chili was on point, just the right amount of spice, and the owner was great to talk to.

Good food good employees only problem is finding out where they're located at, since they move around often

OMG!! AMAZING FOOD!! My husband and daughter were at Brandi Fenton park today. He was waiting for her while she was in Kung fu class. Came to you guys for 3 pulled pork tacos...came BACK for another 6 to take home, and 18 garlic parm wings. SO SO SO DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be looking out for you guys!! #GOEATHERE!! #5STARS read more

Food is delicious, service was spot on. Really enjoyed the poppers and the Mac and cheese bombs. Kids love it! We will be back!!

My family had gone to Fork & Fire when they first opened and lived the BBQ. We went today and unfortunately never got to eat. We arrived at 4:30 to beat the dinner rush. It was busy but not packed and there were several open tables. We ordered a child's plate and appetizers first. Never saw our waitress again. Got the appetizers at 5:15. At 6pm we asked about my granddaughters dinner and our food. They couldn't tell us when it would be out. We were given the option of two $5 gift cards or to wait with no time frame. We left the gift cards on the table and we left. Very disappointing. read more

I really can't leave a review as we haven't yet eaten there, but seeing that the owners care enough to reply to most every review tells me that they care a great deal and are doing their best to make this a "go to" place in OV. We'll try it soon and leave our review. read more

I took the family to Fork & Fire during their "pre-opening" phase and the food is fantastic. The brisket is excellent, and the wife loves the pulled pork. Sauce selection is a little shy, with only two on the table ... a hickory and a mesquite. Ask your server for for their spicy sauce, it is the best of the three, but not on the tables (yet?). Service was a little slow, but they are still learning the routine. Family-oriented with a great outdoor space. Highly recommend. read more

Great food & great people. Please give Fork & Fire an opportunity to impress you. We promise to deliver great food and fun times daily!!

I decided to give them a try after seeing the food truck several times. What a mistake! I ordered the loaded tots with pulled pork and the 4 cheese smoked Mac. The pulled pork tasted very basic/plain and the "tots" were actually just soggy home fries on soggy paper. What a disappointment! The smoked Mac tasted like it was boiled in dirty tap water for far too long and was very runny. There was some sort of baked cheese on top maybe just panko? I honestly couldn't taste any cheese other than Parmesan. I'm not trying to be mean it's just not what I expected for the price I paid and the portion/quality I received. Wouldn't recommend/won't go back. read more

Stopped by last night by chance.. glad we did! The pork tacos were amazing! The Mac and cheese was also awesome! Will defiantly try them again when they are back in OV! read more

Delicious street tacos and slaw! The flavors of the bbq meat pop and make you take notice - no "ho-hum" here - We'll be back to sample even more of the menu! read more

I was extremely disappointed by the Fork & Fire food truck when it came to UA. We all ordered the BBQ plate and were most excited for the smoked mac & cheese listed as the side dish. After paying and waiting for our food, we were served a BBQ plate with tots instead of mac & cheese. The cashier was not informing customers that they don't serve mac & cheese, even though it was listed multiple times on their menu! We, and several other customers, were extremely disappointed when we were served something we didn't order. On top of that, the pulled pork was dry and flavorless, and the "tots" were also just merely home fries. The workers were NOT welcoming to our complaints. The cashier was not knowledgeable about any of the menu items and had to yell back to the cooks to ask for clarity. Also, I attempted to use my phone to pay using their contactless card reader (which was advertised on their window), but it was not functioning properly. As a new business, I would expect workers to be going above and beyond to win customer loyalty. At Fork & Fire, I was met with abrasive workers and disappointing food. I will be sure to warn others about ordering from this food truck in the future. read more

Incredible passion, food, and service! If you need any size group feed to a group ecstas, this is your truck! Thank you for all you do!

Amazing food and service, they catered lunch for my staff and did an amazing job! We're here in time and took care of everyone with great customer service, I highly recommend fork and fire. read more

This place has amazing BBQ!! It was so delicious. You have to check it out. They do catering as well.

We went here for dinner on a Friday night. The patio looked lovely, but unfortunately it was rainy so we had to sit inside. Immediately, the ambiance of the restaurant seemed really weird- felt like we should've been in a chipotle or fast casual type restaurant. Our waitress was nice but frazzled, and they kept mixing up our table with the people next to us when bringing out food. The prices did feel a little high for what we were getting. My pulled pork sandwich was good, but it was served on a TEENY plate, with the bowl of macaroni taking up half, and the sandwich taking up the other half of the plate. I made a huge mess on the table (even after moving the macaroni to the table), but it seemed completely impractical for a BBQ restaurant. I was also perplexed at how many empty tables there were on a Friday night. Overall, it was fine, but we wouldn't go back (but I wouldn't be opposed to takeout). read more

Had the chicken street tacos, pork street tacos, pork plate, Mac and cheese and chili. Everything was delish! Large food portions and TONS of flavor! Definitely one of my favorite bbq trucks. read more

Just visited this new spot in Oro Valley and it was amazing! Great selection of on tap and bottled beers and wine. Since this a new open, servers are still learning and they are working out the all the kinks of opening a new restaurant and as the restaurant works to find its groove. I love the atmosphere and energy of the inside dining, which also sports a private dining area, and they have an absolutely amazing patio. This is a perfect after work place to wind down with friends and have some good food and spirits. The food was excellent. There were 5 of us and we sampled from each other's plates. A lot of places serve pulled pork with so much fat it's not even edible, but not here...The pulled pork was amazing. I hope they will also start serving Carnitas which is less shredded and more large pieces of pork. The best was when we ordered the Fire Bombs appetizer to share and we were all very pleased. It was amazing with not one morsel left. I was very excited to see a smoked mac-n-cheese on the menu as a side, but was a bit disappointed in that it was pretty bland. Prices were pretty high, as in all restaurants now, but we know that is due to this crazy Biden inflation, so we understand. You should definitely give this new place a try. All 5 of us loved it, and this will definitely be a go place for us!! read more

The pork and chicken is awesome. Everything they make is great and priced reasonably. Highly recommend eating there.

We went to the picture rocks food fest tonight and were really excited to try the food from fork and fire. Not only did the cook use the towel he was wiping his hands with to rub his nose, the experience with the food was disappointing. There was a lady who ordered after us who was called to the window to get her food...3 minutes later she came back because the food was our bag. The other worker took the bag (mind you, you can see everything through the window), looked through the to go boxes. Rather than just making a new order, he proceeded to put them back in the bag and called my name. I should have said something then...but we were hungry and drove home with the food. When we got there, the hotdog was burnt (for my daughter), the walking taco was all gooped to one side of the box, and the mac n cheese tasted several days old. I hate leaving a bad review, but this was a less than desirable experience. read more
