My pedicure with Matthew was fantastic! So I will say if you can book ahead and request him - great conversation & I felt super comfortable! Also ATTENTION TO DETAIL was phenomenal My manicure on the other hand by another technician was awful. It's lumpy, sloppy finish, full of bubbles & streaky. Overall not impressed & I'll pay somewhere else to try and fix it. I didn't really get much of any cuticle cleanup just the agressive drill bit at too course of a grit and too high of speed to take off my previous gel in 1 go -- leaving my nail bed damaged with ridges. Then extra fine drill bit over a thin nail to try to even it out leaving my previously EVEN nails so sad I fear when I have to take this gel off I'll need to let them have a break. I regularly get this service and have for 10+ years this type of work is lazy and damaging. My pedicure service was nothing like this so I would say your experience is going to be very dependent on who you end up with for your service. She also spit her gum into her bare hand before throwing it into the trash - didn't wash them and proceeded to do my service. Never again. read more

We went there today, because our regular place is closed on Monday, I was not impressed at all. No proper massage and I'd already cut my nails down they just needed filing and they didn't get filed. Also the hot stone was one wipe over one foot and one leg, she forgot the other leg. I was a rushed job tbh I absolutely expect better when paying this amount of money. Wasn't offered a drink either. We are spoiled by Venice nails in Buda and price is the same. $80 plus tip so $92 for this service! Don't waste your $$$$ go to Venice nails in Buda. read more

Pros: walk in availability, staff was courteous, salon was clean. Cons: No one offered complimentary drinks. The margarita machine was off and empty. There's a coffee bar with a keurig machine but I had to ask for a water. I got a mani pedi with regular polish. The pedi was pretty good, but the mani left a lot to be desired. Wow, I'm the first one to post a review! Nothing is nicer than going to a brand new nail salon. As soon as I walked in I was very impressed with the Polish Bar. I was greeted at the front door by the owner. The place is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. My nail tech Brianna was very informative about my nails that I had gotten done at a different salon. They had butchered mine and used MMA causing a lot of damage. Came for a walk in pedicure recently and was seen right away. The salon felt incredibly clean. Prices felt high compared to other salons in Buda which are $10/$15 cheaper for the same pedicure. Sadly I have to knock some stars. Service was great and everyone was nice, but my nail tech used the completely wrong color that I chose and showed her in the book of swatches, and told her the exact number of the color. I picked out a pink color but she used a whiteish brown. I understand they were similar colors but not all colors are the same and it's not the one I chose. I didn't say anything because she had already started putting on a few coats when I noticed and I didn't want to make her start over. But I think using the exact color the client chooses should be a standard practice so I'm disappointed. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but sadly had a terrible experience yesterday and will not be returning. It's super cute/aesthetic, great location, and I was seated right away without an appointment. That's where the good ends. My nail tech was literally falling asleep the entire time she was doing my nails. Like nodding off while grinding/filing/painting my nails. She kept saying how tired she was and how she kept falling asleep, and apologized for catching her on a "bad day". She even got up during my manicure to make herself another coffee and thanked me for being patient with her while she napped. WHAT?! I'm sorry but if you can't stay awake while you're working, maybe you should go home?! Not to mention it took TWO HOURS from start to finish for a manicure. I usually get a manicure AND pedicure in that amount of time. I asked for a dip manicure with almond shaped nails. I had to ask her to shorten and reshape multiple times and they are still completely different shapes/uneven. Several nails have lumps and are rough around the edges. Unfortunately I did not have any more time (after sitting for two hours) to ask her to fix them again. The people around me seemed satisfied with their experience, so maybe it was just a "bad day" for my nail tech, but overall I'm incredibly disappointed and won't be back. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it is very close to home. When I walked in it was clean and had cute decor. My rating is low because of my tech. I felt uncomfortable, but just wanted to get it over with. During my pedi she cut my toes several times, three of them left a cut that bled and still hurts pretty bad the multiple days after. After the second cut she made a comment that the client before me also had pain on the same toe... making it seem like it wasn't her accident. Later on she told me she's been in this industry for 35 years, which I heavily question with the service I received. I should have left after the 2nd/3rd cut honestly. Several times herself and the owner kept telling me to leave a review on Facebook and other social platforms, after I told them both multiple times I don't use any of them. Felt very pressured and took a deep breath of relief once I was out of there. UPDATE 1/16 - 10 days after raving to me that my manicure would last a month or longer, I'd like to share that they're all chipped and the polish on my thumb is completely gone. Didn't last the normal two weeks, yet she claimed it would say longer due to the type of manicure. *I hate that I'm posting pictures of my toes I just want other people to careful when picking a place to go to* read more

I've been to Forever Polished four times for dip manicures and while I am impressed with the cleanliness and aesthetic of the space, I have never had a great experience with my actual manicure. Every person who has done my nails there does them completely differently, so sometimes there are bumps in my nails, sometimes they chip within days, and only one time have they been great. I continue to come back because it's so convenient, but the price DOES NOT reflect the quality. I truly feel that this salon is massively overpriced considering how inconsistent the results are. I will be back again only because the other salons in town are truly terrible, but I am still not thrilled with this salon either. read more

This was my first time at this nail place. I was impressed because I was welcome at the moment I walk in the door, and I saw all of the colors of different nail stuff that they had all up on the shelves on the walls. It was so beautiful. It was almost like looking at a rainbow. The woman who did my nails I forget her name, but she always has a little black hat with the sparkly gems on it. She did fantastic nail work. The only thing that kind of upset me a little bit, was that I was quoted on the phone a certain price of $55. When I got there and they're in the middle of doing my nails is when they tell me oh no it's $70. I was a bit perturbed over that. And one other thing that's kind of bizarre to me, is that if your nails or a tiny bit long over past your cuticle, they charge you more for the length even though it's like barely a millimeter. I don't think that's fair. But anyway Overall I did like this nail bar a lot and I like the ladies there. So I will be going back. And my name is Brenda.
