    Spinach Roll

A friend brought a pie over for dinner from this new pizzeria, at least it's new to us. We got a margarita pizza with beef sausage. We noticed there were no pork products here. They have beef sausage, Turkey bacon, and chicken. The pizza was thin and had a nice crunch. The sauce was slightly tangy with plenty of cheese and sausage. The fresh basil added a layer of texture, color and flavor. They also brought some spinach rolls.

So thrilled there is a pizzeria in the historical station square of Forest Hills, Queens - NYC. I absolutely love how spacious this restaurant is. And they have a large selection of toppings. I'd totally enjoyed their chicken roll. It's super tasty with lots of meat and the sauce tastes pretty nicely. The prices come across affordable. They also have a diverse selection of gelato. Look forward to try this before 2025 summer ends. The staff is very welcoming and attentive.

Cuisine: 6 Service: 7 Decor: 5 Value: 6 Overall: 6 I was very excited to get a new pizzeria in our neighborhood because you can never have enough good pizza. Unfortunately, this new shop left me relatively disappointed. The regular slice was okay, but the sauce lacked flavor and the crust was a bit too hard. The grandma slice had a better crust, but once again, terrible sauce for something that should be garlicky and delicious. The guys behind the counter did ask if I would like some basil and freshly grated Parmesan on my two slices, which was a nice touch. Space was dark and somewhat boring. Menu was on the tv screens, but it was hard to read with letters that were way too small. With better pizza just a couple blocks down the road, I just can't see myself coming back here regularly.

Love that this spot is in between the residential area and right off of the commercial strip, close to all transportation. We've tried it twice so far: once during the initial week or two when the AC wasn't installed yet and recently a few days ago after the AC was in. Both times were good yet different. Like many others have noted, ordering is a bit dysfunctional as you need to go straight in to see what slices they have then return to the front to place the order. I would recommend they move the cashier area, perhaps, next to the space by the bathroom. Probably too dim but it would keep the line moving in order. The pizza has a nice crunch and chew to it. We tried multiple slices: grandma, plain, pepperoni, chicken turkey bacon ranch, caprese. Also tried their garlic knots and chicken roll. The first time, the food was great. I think it was one of the main managers or owner who was involved with making the pizza. The second time, I believe they had a new person making pizza. It was good but not quite there. The pepperoni slice didn't feel it had that nice, slightly charred bottom. The garlic knots are a good deal - two big ones for $1. If you like Dante's garlic knots, then these will just be okay for you. But what a good deal! We got 6 items for $26 so I would say it's a pretty good meal. There are several tables in the back for quick dining. Small bathroom in the front. Can't complain - there's always room for improvement. Happy to have this establishment here and look forward to their expanded menu soon.

I went back and it was a shell of its former self. Sorry for the false hope. Maybe they'll get a good pizza maker again but the front of house is still a mess too.

They make ugly, burnt pizza that doesn't even want to be replaced. No, I will never go there again.

I did a delivery of 2 sandwiches recently, and both arrived fresh and packed well. I got the "Aged…read moreto perfection" which was prosciutto, and the "US open fan favorite" which was roasted chicken breast. Both came with generous amounts of meat, not too saucy either which sometimes makes sandwiches soggy. I got the regular sub size which I ate half of. It can easier feed 2 people! I could have done without sundried tomatoes in the prosciutto sandwich but overall it was very delicious. I would get it again, or try a hot sandwich variant next time.

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get a sandwich from Stacked since I haven't had one in a while. I I walked in and waited to be greeted while the staff chatted and gazed at me for about 5ish minutes or so. Finally, I'm acknowledged and asked "what can I get for you". I saw they had a Thanksgiving sandwich called the "Gobbler". I asked how long they would have it as even though it's the November special, sometimes places might make it last through the holidays. When asked I was told "it will be available until whenever November ends". This whole interaction made me feel so unwelcome. It didn't look like there was much going on there in the relm of orders, but it still took them a while to make my sandwich. Finally they bring it to the front counter. Pack it in paper and a paper bag and I'm off. I didn't have much time to eat so I scarfed it down in my car before heading down Queens Blvd. It was very good. Not my favorite, but def has potential. I also feel like, though this is a nice sized sandwich, they were a bit stingy this time around. I would say the star was the stuffing. It just tied everything together. As you all know, I love a good sandwich shop. I wish this was as good as it once was to me. Not sure if I'll give it one more shot just yet.

Absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more The pastrami is insanely tender like melt in your mouth kind of good. The sandwich is definitely messy, but that's how you know it's done right when its packed and stacked with meat! Even with a line out the door, the guys behind the counter cutting the meat are friendly and keep things moving. They even hand out samples while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming (and honestly makes the wait easier).

The fries are steak fries, which I don't typically love but it worked well as a vehicle for the pastrami. The corned beef is a bit dry. We had some pierogies but these were superrrr oily. We also ordered a matzoh ball soup because I've never had it before. But the second I saw them microwave it in a plastic container, I knew I had made a mistake. It was basically just a matzoh ball in very salty chicken bouillon water. I'm sad that was my first matzoh ball soup experience but am not deterred from finding a real one elsewhere. Based on my previous visit and this one, it seems like you should just stick to a classic pastrami sandwich. It's big enough to share between two people. Next time, I'd like to dine in and eat it fresh. The sandwiches also come with a bunch of pickles, which was nice. Tip #1 - there is a parking lot but because there are so many stores and it's next to Bratek Deli, it's a nightmare. It did also happen to be Good Friday, so maybe that made it worse? I don't remember it being that bad the first time around. Tip #2 - I called ahead to place my order but still had to wait 15 minutes extra after the quoted time. They prioritize walk-in customers, so you might as well just order in store.

I like their sandwiches, but the bread is where it needs a huge upgrade. My most recent purchase was the Bon Jour, which had delicious thinly sliced ham, brie cheese, artichoke, and dijon mustard. Entering the store, which is a long and a narrow yet fairly sun-lit location, the two employees seem flabbergasted. We placed an order online and I'm not sure if it's because it's the beginning of lunch time but they seemed disorganized. Then we finally got our sandwich and I said we'll eat right at the few spots by the window. Incredibly convenient. Asked if they could cut it in half since we wanted to try it fresh on the spot. One guy was friendly, the other was lukewarm. I had to explain, it's our first time ordering so will understand to clarify instructions in the online order to have it cut in half in the future. Besides the customer interaction, the sandwich is pretty good. Great crunch in the bread, ingredients are just enough (not like Stacked but good enough to fill you up). It's certainly a great option for sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Probably better to order online than in person as they can be busy just making sandwiches and not be able to tend to in-person interactions as quickly.
