I ordered a caramel and hazelnut frappuccino and loved it! I also thought it was really cool how they use a soda can-style top with clear sides. JA got the iced matcha latte and loved it too, but said she would order light ice next time. It's such a cute coffee shop, open until 11pm, and they have desserts I haven't tried yet but definitely want to!
Great spot if you're looking for a refreshing pat bingsoo esp. during the hot summer! They've also got the ice cream waffles, fruit tanghulu, boba tea, and coffee drinks. Staff are very nice. Space is kinda small and quiet - they're located next to 9292 Shabu Shabu in the Kroger shopping center. SWEET RED BEAN SHAVED ICE - $9.99 Perfect size for 2 people to share - but if you're feeling indulgent, maybe one person could enjoy the whole dessert. This version has the sweet red beans, 1 scoop vanilla ice cream, and a few mochi over the snowflakey shaved ice ... I couldn't tell if the shaved ice was made of milk or sweetened condensed milk ... I loved all of it so much. Great light dessert and therefore guilt-free lol ... maybe I could've eaten a second bowl? :) My friends both got the latte's and said they were very good - very cute cups w/ the unique aluminum can tops. We'll definitely be back for sure - I'd like to try the strawberry or mango bingsoo next time!
Cute cafe, located to the side of a Kroger shopping center. Overall good drinks, dessert and cakes. We took the blueberry milk home and surprisingly I enjoyed it more than I thought. The taiyaki has good texture and custard flavor. My husband enjoyed his mango bingsoo and the size is just perfect for an individual serving vs other places with humongous serving size.
Forest cafe makes delicious bingsoo! I'm a mango lover, so I got the mango bingsoo. I loved how the portion size if the bingsoo was perfect for 2 people and only $10. This is a cute new dessert cafe. The interior is inviting and clean, though small, so seating is limited. Staff is friendly. They also have some other cool items on the menu - dessert waffles, flat croissants, fresh fruit juice, tanghulu, etc. I'll definitely be returning to try some of their other menu items!
Love the vibe if this place! My daughter and I wanted to try "Tang Hulu" as we have never had it before. Sure enough, Forest Cafe was all about this dessert. We ordered two grape Tang Hulu and two mixed Tang Hulu full of strawberry and grapes. We also ended iur order with a Nutella flat croissant. Everything was delicious!
There is a nice selection of different desserts in this cute cafe. There are unique options like tanghulu, cakes, and various pastries. The desserts I tried were delicious but were a bit dry and room temperature like they have been sitting out all day. That's totally fine but it's not as great as having a freshly baked or just warmed dessert. I would still recommend the items I tried but I have had better similar desserts at cafes in NYC. For metro Atlanta, I think it's very good though. I tried the large strawberry croissant and it's very big and flattened out. It's nice and crisp as well with sprinkles on it. I also liked the strawberry fish-shaped pastry. The filling was good. These desserts are sweet but not overly sweet. There's also a nice selection of various drinks. I'm not entirely sure which drink I tried but I think it was some type of juice recommended by the staff.
The place itself isn't particularly aesthetic. The cafe's selling point is definitely the items they sell. While I didn't order the tanghulu, they were very popular, and they had a good selection displayed (strawberries, grapes, tangerines, berries, cherry tomatoes, a mix of fruit, croissant). We didn't go at a busy time, so they were fast with our orders. We ordered drinks and a dessert to share. I ordered the strawberry ade, and my friend got a cookies and cream drink. We ordered what I think is called long parfait, but I'm not entirely sure, which was maybe a little too much for the two of us. We both liked our drinks. The dessert though... Three skewer sticks lined with strawberries, whipped cream piped in between over yogurt, cereal, and strawberry jam. It came with chocolate syrup on the side and was very much ordered for the visuals. The strawberries and whipped cream were fresh, the strawberry jam was a bit too much for me, and neither of us were a fan of the cereal. I would come here again though for different desserts. I like the how their drinks came out, it's very unique and fun.

The decor is simple and relaxing, workers are friendly, creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your treat. A sweet little spot worth visiting!

I was so impressed with the New Menu, everything was delicious and beautiful presentation. The Long Strawberry Parfait and Chocolate Cracking is such a unique experience you won't find anywhere else. The Owners are super sweet and very welcome. I love that they used real fruits in their fruit drinks. It's refreshing to know they care about the quality of their products and as someone trying to mind their sugar intake; it was nice to know I could let loose a bit more. All in all please come check them out, you won't disappoint.
After wandering through a forest of dessert spots, I finally found the sweetest hidden gem at Forest Cafe! I still really enjoy Forest Cafe and am so happy to see them thriving and doing well. The people who run this cafe are always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It really makes a difference. You can tell there's a lot of care and intention behind everything they serve, from the drinks to the desserts. The space itself is cozy, warm, and comfortable-perfect for hanging out, catching up with friends, a date night or just enjoying a quiet moment. I honestly haven't had a single drink here that I didn't like. Everything I've tried has been consistently good. Their dessert case is usually filled with so many tempting options like tanghulu, macarons, cheesecakes, and other yummy Korean sweet treats. They also make shaved ice bingsoo, mini fish waffle, and other waffle desserts. They also carry the viral Dubai chocolate ball dessert (Dubai chewy cookie), and it's so fresh and delicious here. It's definitely worth trying if you haven't already. And their tanghulu? Still some of the freshest and best. I can never leave without at least one skewer. It's kind of a must at this point. On my most recent visit, I tried the strawberry matcha and it was so good. It's refreshing, flavorful, and I loved the real strawberry pieces in it. They even serve it in a cool, clear can-style bottle, which makes it feel a little extra special. Overall, this is such a great spot for both drinks and desserts. Definitely check them out if you're in the area and support a local business that's clearly putting heart into what they do. read more
Ever since I tried these tasty Tanghulus (or Tang at this Panda Fest last year, I've become a fan. Though covered with super-sugary toppings, they are a fruit dessert...so at least somewhat healthy lol! Well, I heard this place carried them...so I stopped in right away! I tried 2 different skewers...and they both were SO good. Possibly better than the ones I tried at the Panda Fest, and cheaper! Also tried their Taro Milk Tea w/ Boba, and they were solid. Am so glad there's actually a dessert place that carry this in Duluth...YAY!! read more

Forest Cafe offers a variety of drinks and treats, including coffee, boba, tanghulu, and croffles. I tried the ube milk tea and the croffle, and while both were tasty, I found the sweetness a bit overwhelming towards the end. As of this review, they have a discount on drinks before 11 AM, which is a great perk if you're an early bird. read more

I love this place and their drinks but oh my gosh. I was finishing my drink and I saw this thing CRAWLING in my drink. I'm trying to freak out about it but I'm definitely not coming back , who knows how many bugs I've ingested. So disappointed. read more

Delicious delicious tanghulu! To my surprise, their strawberries are sweet as well not just because of the sugar coat. Matcha drink was okay as it tastes more milky than matcha flavor, but I love the chocolate cracking idea. read more

The food was amazing!! The staff is super kind and welcoming. The shop is small and cozy. They play pleasant music. I enjoyed visiting here to study and will surely come back! I recommend this for a quick snack or just a place to sit and do school work. read more

I came here because this used to be a mochibee/mochinut store. However I stumbled across this very cute, clean and newly established cafe. The service was amazing, the lady in the front was very kind and polite. The tanghulu smelled amazingly sweet and the pastries all seem delicious. I bought the fish-shaped premium pasteries and they're both so so good. They are sweet and savory! read more

I has always wanted to try this place but doesn't have a chance to until today Their coffee is amazing! I love how the caramel doesn't overpower the coffee taste( most place just put too much in) They are very polite and friendly to converse with. I ordered panini, parfait , strawberry and banana fruit juice. They all taste good but just be mindful that panini is sweet not salty (felt too sweet personally).Large serving enough for 2-3 people. The staffs are enthusiastic and nice! The seats are clean. Will definitely come back. read more

I recently visited Forest Cafe. Upon entering, we were promptly and courteously greeted which I found very welcoming. The space is cute and inviting. You can without a doubt take IG worthy photos here. It's not super crowded or busy. I would classify it as quiet and peaceful so you could sit at a table and get some work done or study. They offer a variety of treats and sweets as well as beverages. I thought that it was really neat that the drinks were canned instead of in a cup. It definitely makes it easier for transport. I ordered a Nutella Smashed Croissant and a Forest Latte to-go which were both pretty good. My mom ordered cheesecake. Which was PHENOMENAL! Best cheesecake I have ever had and I have had one from almost every bakery in the area. read more

Tanghulu (fresh fruits covered in caramelized sugar) was so good!! The crunchiness of the caramelized sugar paired with the juicy fresh fruits OMG my mouth is watering just remembering! We also tried the strawberry bingsoo (shaved ice in a bowl topped with strawberry syrup, fresh sliced strawberries, mochi, ice cream and the tube cookies). My kids and I shared these. The workers who run the place are wonderful and attentive. Cute spot to go relax and grab a treat. You've gotta go! You'll be in for a treat! read more

I was shopping in the area and happened to come across this cute cafe and decided to stop by. I'm so glad that I did :)) It is a small cute cafe that also has TANGHULU!! (i think that's how you spell it). They also have the recently trending smashed croissant. I am so glad I tried both of them. The tanghulu was very well made and was sweet and the fruit (the most important component) was fresh and very tasty. The smashed croissant was really really tasty and it is much better and larger than i expected. They also have many selections of drinks and other types of desserts as well. As for service, Jayden was very sweet to recommend what she personally likes and what most people like. She was very sweet and friendly with cool jewelry. I also had the opportunity to speak with the owner and he was so sweet and friendly! You don't see a lot of that. Overall, I loved it and I will be back with friends and family :) read more
Quaint little place. Plenty of seating and cute decor. I came for the tanghulu. I knew they had flat croissants but I couldn't believe how massive it was. Unfortunately, I had my fill of sweets so I didn't try the croissant. There were so many different combination for the tanghulu but I got the strawberry and grape. I really want to come back to try the orange and the croissant. To be upfront I've never tried tanghulu before so I can't comment if this was the best one or the worst one. The sugar coating was relatively thin on the top fruits and thicker as you get to the end. I felt some were coated better than others. I was kind of sad that some of the coating was already cracked so I didn't get the full experience of cracking it myself. Service was quick and seamless. read more

Tanghulu is what brought me to this place. And they had a decent selection to choose from. The prices are reasonable at $5 per tanghulu and they don't go stingy with the amount of fruit; also, I was pleased with the quality of the fruit (I've been to other places where they used fruit that was getting old - yuck). I devoured the tanghulus. They also had so many other selections to choose from but I came for my tanghulu fix, which was satisfied. A very cute cafe with amazing selections of dessert and beverages. read more
Came to try out this new cafe and we ordered a few items to share. Got the chocolate flat croissant, milk bingsoo, chocolate, strawberry fish pastry and a few drinks. I thought the bingsoo was great, the chunks of red bean were sweet and delicious and love that they added lots of mochi. The flat croissant was okay but the flavor was good. The cashier working was nice to give us a an extra fish pastry because the strawberry one was broken in half. Overall, a nice spot to hangout at. read more

I came here to study. I ordered a lychee milk tea and it was really refreshing! The drink came in a can, which is cute. The drink does have a powder aftertaste. The service was really quick. They had my order ready when I sat down. The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out or studying. They have bathroom services and wifi! read more
Stopped in to buy some Tanghulu to share with family and ended up getting some drinks (one coffee and one milk tea with lychee jelly) and the Tanghulu to go. Tanghulu was all packed up with cold packs!! So nice! The drinks are plastic, but they have a machine to make the tops like a metal can lid so there's no messy explosion trying to pop the plastic top with the straw. The place was decorated for Halloween and so cute! read more

Yummy food and drinks! The service was quick and attentive! The staff were super friendly! We got our food and drinks really quickly, and the staff made sure we were sat comfortably! They gifted us another tanghulu and I also saw them gift some oranges for some small children! read more

I recently visited Forest Cafe in Duluth, Georgia, and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. I started with a cup of their coffee, which was rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The real highlight, though, was the strawberry bingsoo--a refreshing treat with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. To top it off, I had their chocolate ice cream, which was decadently creamy and full of deep, rich chocolate flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be returning to Forest Cafe soon! Highly recommend! read more
