This is the worse auto body ever. The only reason I brought my car to this shop after an accident was because I naively thought that the repairs would be much faster since they work directly with Progressive. This was the worse decision ever! My car was at the shop for a month and even when I was able to pick it up, I had to go back three times because there was something wrong with the car! 1) the air bag sensor was not rebooted after replacing the door, 2) the motor mount was missing a bolt after the axles were replaced, 3) as a result, the alternator belt ripped. It has been one thing after another. And on top of that, the customer service is far from ideal. read more

Every once in a while a business goes so far beyond your expectations that you feel like you have to tell the world. Foreign Auto Body in Gardena is one of those rare businesses. The front bumper and right side of my Sequoia got damaged when I hit a post. I could not report the damage to my carrier because I have a 16 year old on my policy and my premium is already astronomical. I drove around with the damage for a while because I knew that it wasn't going to be cheap to fix it. I duct taped the headlamp but it fell off on the freeway and I was driving around without it (worrying about getting a ticket whenever I saw a cop car). I finally got around to getting an estimate from Foreign Auto Body, which was referred to me by my mechanic. I dealt with Carlos and he was professional and friendly. The repair estimate was a little over $1,500 . I called another shop on the phone and went over the estimate with the guy who answered the phone. He told me that I had been given a good price and he could match it but not beat it. So I brought my Sequoia to Foreign Auto Body to be fixed. It was fixed in 3 days and looks brand new -- even the fender flare that was sanded and polished to save me money on having to buy a new one. Carlos is the man. There were no additional charges -- I wasn't hit up for any "hidden damage". On top of doing a fantastic job, my Sequoia had been washed and vacuumed. Don't hestitate to use this shop. Wow! The worse ever. I wish My family would've read the reviews before my daughter took her car to Foreign auto repair referred by Progressive Insurance. They lied on several occasions and then left out the bolts in the hood latch on my daughters car which caused her hood to fly up while she was in driving in heavy traffic on the freeway. Her whole front windshield was destroyed all this happen within 24 hours of picking up the car from the tricky auto shop. They left the bolts off and indicated that my daughter could have taken out the bolts. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS !!!!! Every staff member was very respectful and patient with me. My jag had gotten keyed terribly and they repainted and detailed my car! They had to detail it because my crazy ass left milk in my trunk and I dropped it off forgetting to take it out. WOW! The car looked better than when I brought it in. They did work from a rear in accident (I was rear ended), and they not only beautifully made the repairs quickly, but they also detailed my car top to bottom. A little break down in communication however, they thought I still owed my deductible but quickly honed up to their mistake and realized I did not. read more

At this time of writing, I see only 5 reviews. I'm really surprised they haven't had more. They get a lot of business and do an excellent job. I've had to take my car here several times (unfortunately), but I always know that I'm getting a fair price for a great job on my car. I've heard that Sam's Auto Body Shop right around the corner does a good job, but at a much higher price. So to get good work done on the body of your car at a fair price, I would def recommend going here. read more

What a wonderful company!!! Great customer service and fast turn around time. I was in a collision that severely damaged my front bumper and both front side panels. I got my car back completely paint detailed, washed, waxed and tires shined with a full interior cleaning. Brand new hub caps on all 4 tires and brand new sparkling head-lights. Jeff is rude. We were having a situation were there was damages that were not there when we drop it off. Instead of him explaining it to us calmly or proving to us that it was not made there like he argued, he got extremely rude raised his voice and gave us attitude. He also brought up a damage that we KNEW was there! trying to make a statement that it could of been us BUT we had prove of pictures that the damage was not there when we left it! Jeff, the owner is not a man of his word. Drop off a sun damaged wood steering wheel, Jeff say he could fix it and told me to call he at the end of the week. Call Friday morning, reached the assisant and Jeff will call me later that day. Jeff did not call back Friday or Monday. Call again mid-morning Monday, reached the assisant Karen again, she said Jeff will return my call that morning. Called again at noon, talked to Karen again and voiced my frustration of not having the work done on time and no return calls back from Jeff. A few minutes later get a voice message from Karen, Jeff decieded not to do the work and pick up my steering wheel. After having the steering wheel for a week, Jeff did not do any work on it. Will never refer any to have any work done there. read more

Foreign Auto Body repaired two of my vehicles and did an amazing job. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable during each instance. I learned that they do classic car restoration as well as body work on all types of vehicles. I also have to comment on that earlier review in March attacking the character of the office worker there. She was very friendly and I find it rude referring to someone as a "bulldog" when she was probably just doing her job. RUDE, SLOPPY, & UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Jeff the owner is a pompous a**. He had my vehicle for over 3 months and kept giving me the run around. Every time I tried getting an update on the status of my vehicle, I had to personally go into his shop to speak w/him or one of his workers because I could never get an answer over the phone. Keep in mind that I originally took my vehicle in for damage to the roof, nothing else. Jeff calls me about 1 month before I picked up my car to tell me my car is ready. I get to his shop, turns out my car is not ready. They forgot to put the clear coat on it. One of his workers gets in my car and tries to turn it on and it won't turn on. Turns out, the battery is dead. Weird, right? When I finally did get my vehicle back, I noticed the paint on the roof looked a little different than the rest of the paint on the car. When I asked Jeff what happened, he played it off and said it was the lighting. When I got in the car, the radio wouldn't turn on, the ABS light was on, in short they somehow disconnected various wires causing the radio to malfunction, and other warning lights to come on. I brought it to Jeff's attention right away; he started acting like a jerk and said the car came in like that. I took my car out of his "shop" and took it to a mechanic, he found that they had indeed disconnected various wires, loosened the driver seat, fried some other wires, left a razor where they were cutting the wires (which caused the mechanic to cut his finger), the alarm was messed up, the horn unplugged AND they left all my bolts loose!! They had no business cutting wires, especially w/a razor or messing with the electrical, or loosening bolts and not tightening them back up, when all my car went in for was damage to the roof area. I want answers but Jeff, being the coward that he is, won't respond to my calls or letters. read more
