I somehow busted my sideview mirror and was looking for a place to place the mirror back and also repair the most obnoxious squeaky sound that happened every time the window opened or closed. After calling multiple auto body repair shops from yelp that were giving quotes up to $100, I finally called this place and spoke to Javi. He said come in Monday and I'll do it for free. I went in and he and his guys did exactly what he said - replaced the mirror, fixed the squeaky sound, and to top it all off, he saw my bumper was out of place and magically popped it back in all within 15 minutes! I was very happy with the amazing service and couldn't believe it was free. I told my dad about this service and he said, "you didn't even give a tip?" Our Mazda CX-5 suffered a collision when parked in SoCal. Connect by AmFam insurance had it towed to Precision Auto of Hawthorne, CA, who repaired it. I drove it back home to northern California. However, a "keyless system malfunction" error persisted. Precision Auto, when informed, immediately without hesitation or argument asked me to take the car to a local dealer for further diagnosis and repair - they would pay whatever it cost. Once it was fixed Precision Auto paid the dealer over the phone and I picked up the car. Not once did they question the dealer's diagnosis, repair, or the cost, which was substantial. Hovik was so helpful and had his guys look at the damage to my front bumper where a plastic guard had come detached right away. Did not do what they said they would do. What I paid for. Whatever they did they just did on the surface level, perhaps some tightening here and there at most. As soon as I started driving, things started falling apart. My bumper, the lights, the mud guard--what EXACTLY got actually ordered, replaced and fixed? bcz they look the same--just glued back. When the right side fell apart again, I took it back and they somehow "fixed" it on the spot, but then, a little later driving, same thing on the other side! Fell apart! I couldn't go back again cuz I got sick and I paid 4 figures for this.$$$$ Very unhappy. I had gotten into a minor car accident and my friend recommended this place to me so I took my car to this shop. Beside the fact that they kept my car for a very long time, the business didn't even fix my car. I am 100% sure that the Mickey mouse the job and just glued the paint onto my car without replacing the part like they charged me for. I took my car back THREE times to have them fix the same thing and they never fixed it even though that's not what they told me. The second time I took my car in I told the owner what happened the owner said yeah no problem, we'll fix it. Got my car back, a month later the same thing deep cracks in the paint reappeared so then I took my car in a third time and I told them the same thing is happening. I am very upset. I want the job done right I paid a lot of money for them to fix it and this shouldn't be happening, so they supposedly fixed it and about a month later, it happened again. I am so fed up with this place. They are a big waste of time!! They are horrible! They are just wasting my time and they took advantage of me. I don't want to play the scenario of a male automotive repair shop, taking advantage of a woman, but this is exactly what happened they took total advantage of me . They are scumbags. They are the worst human beings on the face of the Earth, and on top of that I am 100% sure that one of their employees stole an item from my car. and all these are the pictures of my car after they "fixed" it! this place is a joke and they will take advantage of you. I brought my car in after an accident to get an estimate and Hovik was very honest with me on the condition as well as gave me the advice to get other quotes and to put a claim into my insurance if price was over X amount. He did not try to convince me to take my car to him but rather gave good advice and allowed me to see for myself. Hovik even had his repair man tie my bumper up so I could drive my car. When I decided to go through my insurance and get my car towed, Hovik called a tow company free of charge. Hovik was able to get my cars parts in a timely manner and when something else came up regarding my car which required me to need a rental, Hovik paid for my rental car free of charge. This body shop is hands down the best! My partner had an accident while exiting the freeway with one of those fluorescent poles. It was loose on the road Nd was dented underneath the vehicle, causing an insane amount of gas leakage from the vehicle. If she wouldn't have pulled to the side of the road the vehicle could of exploded! It was a scary and terrifying experience and we were so lucky and blessed that nothing happened to her! Aside from the worry we had for the incident we were left with the stress that now the car was a danger and not in running conditions! Our insurance was not the best in my opinion when it came to following up with us on the status of the vehicle. If anything I feel like we heard more from Hovik than our own insurance! It is my pleasure to write this review to document my recent experience with Precision Auto Body ("Precision") located in Hawthorne, CA. I needed the passenger side view mirror of my Toyota Prius repaired, as it was completely detached from the base. After receiving an outrageous estimate from the dealership and attempting to locate the part myself via AutoZone (found it but it was going to take a 2 days to receive and would have to be painted to match my vehicle), I called Precision based on a friend's referral. After speaking with the Manager/Owner Hovik and explaining the issue, he encouraged me to come in and guaranteed that the job would be WAY less than the dealership. Once he assessed the issue, identified the VIN number, code for my paint and talked to his guys, he provided me with an estimate on the spot (less than 15 mins). He was truly a man of his word, as the quote was 3x less than the dealership! He assured me that the work would be undetectable and a quality job. Only 1 day after my initial visit, he was ready for me to bring in my vehicle to fix the broken passenger side view mirror. It was repaired in less than 2 hours. His team even washed my car!
