The only downside was that the music was a little louder than I prefer, making conversation slightly difficult at times. Our waitress was incredibly personable and friendly, and she made us feel very welcome. Service was a bit slow, but it appeared she was the only server working that day, so it was understandable. The food more than made up for the wait. The biscuits were absolutely fantastic. The spring salad was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The grilled chicken on top was seasoned beautifully and cooked perfectly, juicy and tender without being overdone. I'd definitely come back for the food and the welcoming service. Hopefully they'll have a little more staff next time, but it was still a very enjoyable meal.

The day was early and so we were able to be seated upon arrival. Gaddy took us to our seats with an electric energy and even pulled our chairs out for us. I told my wife he must be super new, his apron has no stars, literally blank and he had a pin on name tag. When he came back with drinks, his apron changed to the Cracker Barrel basic logo. If he is new or not, he showed great confidence in the menu and made sure all needs were met. Thanks again for these two stars on your team. The food. Too bad I can't say the same for the cashier and front end staff. First all over the place was advertised free shareables with app (which we had). The cashier would not honor it. The food manager came out to correct the bill. Next I was looking at some merchandise to purchase. Signs said BOGOF. I asked a salesperson on the floor if items could be mixed and matched - I was holding a journal and a toy. I was told yes. I joked that I guess the more expensive one is the one I'll be charged for. Went to the (same) cashier after picking up some candy as well and found out NO they had to be from the same display. I told her that wasn't what I was told and who told me. She never learned that if a salesperson tells a customer wrong information they are supposed to honor it and then use it as a teaching lesson afterwards. She would not honor it. I told her to void the sale. She said "Do you want the candy". I wanted to say what part of void the sale do you not understand but held me breath. I wrote to their corporate office giving them a chance to correct the issue or at least apologize. I received neither. This experience makes us not want to return to this location.

The environment is always so positive and welcoming, and you can tell people genuinely enjoy coming here. I think this is the only restaurant I've been to where the owner himself is actually present and walks around from table to table, making sure everyone is happy and having real conversations with his customers. That alone makes the experience feel so personal. There really isn't another breakfast spot like this for me. It honestly feels like I'm sitting in my own kitchen at home eating a good homemade breakfast. The prices are reasonable, the portions are good, and there are plenty of homemade breakfast options to choose from. Definitely one of those hidden gems I'll keep coming back to!

When we arrived around 10:30am, there were already a few diners. We chose our meals and headed to the bar, Nectar, to place our order. Even then, we were curious about how good the food would actually be. Then the food arrived. Wow, we were so happy we gave it a shot. The quality of the biscuit sandwich was fantastic. I really appreciated that their biscuit was homemade. It was buttery and blended perfectly with the other ingredients. The only suggestion I have is to make the egg yolk runny, as the biscuit can be a bit dry at times. I can't wait to come back and try other vendors, but I definitely want to return for another biscuit next time!

If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. Overall, Ted's Bulletin continues to deliver tasty breakfast food, dependable quality, and a family friendly experience that keeps us coming back. Easy 5 stars from me.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more I posted a review several months ago about Ridgetop CoffeeTop consistently running out of coffee and giving customers a 16-ounce cup when they actually paid for a 20-ounce cup. As a result of that review, I spoke with Christina, who manages the shop. She was genuinely sincere, apologized for the issues, and assured me that things were going to change. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. On Friday, July 10, at approximately 9:30 a.m., I visited the shop again. I was the fifth person in line, looking at my phone, when I heard the first customer being told they had no coffee. He immediately walked out. The next two customers ordered iced tea. The fourth customer, who was directly in front of me, ordered two cups of coffee. I clearly heard the employee tell him there was no coffee available and that he would have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. Although he was obviously frustrated, he agreed to wait and took a seat. When it was my turn, I asked the cashier if I had heard correctly that there was currently no coffee. She confirmed they were about to brew a fresh pot. I pointed out that five customers had already been in line and that this was a coffee shop with no coffee available. After already turning away one customer and asking another to wait, only then were they starting a new pot? The cashier responded with an attitude, saying, "You'll just have to wait 5 to 10 minutes." This is exactly what I discussed with Christina months ago. I simply do not understand how a coffee shop can repeatedly run out of coffee. At a minimum, there should always be another pot brewing or ready so customers are not left waiting 5 to 10 minutes after placing an order. That is poor planning and poor customer service. It is clear that nothing has changed since my conversation with Christina. I asked if either Christina or Dan, the other manager, was available, and I was told there were no managers on duty. At that point, I walked out. I cannot recommend spending your time or money at a coffee shop that repeatedly fails to have coffee available. It would be like going to a grocery store with no groceries. If a business specializes in coffee, customers should reasonably expect coffee to be available.
