Very juicy and flavorful! I got a small and i feel like my portions were very generous for the price. The rice and peas were good, nothing special but good. Now let's talk about this macaroni pie..... what the heck is macaroni pie? What makes pie different than just baked Mac! This stuff was pretty tasty! My friends jerk chicken was described as very good. The ox tails were described as VERY good. Said the OX tails were meaty and flavorand she plans on returning to this place. While i was waiting i sat at the bar and ordered a drink. I ordered a crown with Cranberry. Let's give a SHOT OUT to the bartender!!! He made a Crown and cran not a cran and Crown!! First time here was on a Saturday night. The wait wasn't long and parking was easy (major plus). When we got in, it was sensory overload - between the loud music, patron chatter, flashing colored lights, and minimal plain light. The waitress, hostess, and servers were all respectful and personable. First we ordered drinks and the spicy garlic mussels, which were a weekend special. The drink was good and the mussels were delicious! The wait for the food was a little discouraging - we got hopeful each time we saw a server. The food took about 20 minutes for the appetizer to come. We both ordered rasta pasta - one with jerk chicken and the other with chicken and shrimp. The entrees took about 30 minutes to come. Though very good, I've had better for cheaper and closer to home. All in all, a good experience; I just wish the wait for food was a little shorter and that the ambience wasn't as loud. read more

We all know how good the food is at footprints but the costumer service almost tops it. Me and my dad went into the Clarendon Rd location to inquiry about catering needs for an event. We was immediately seated with an employee ( Yanique ) who was nothing but amazing. She showed us the catering menu and even helped us pick the right dishes and dish sizes. Great place! I live near the Bronx and don't get to BK that often so when I was going to an event at a Barclays I said I can't leave without trying Footprints! I got there around 1am! Yes it was crowded and when we ordered takeout we were told it'd be a 35-45 min wait. No prob. We ordered a drink at the bar, observes the scene and waited. I would give five stars but I didn't have the full sit down service and you're really shoulder to shoulder if waiting. There are outdoor seats but it was cold and windy. Fast forward I get home and my Rasta Pasta with Jerk chicken was the best! Nice serving spicy pasta cooked to perfection! I think I'll go reheat the leftovers. Definitely check it out. I love this place! I have been here a couple times and always enjoy my visit. I always get the Rasta Pasta which is amazing. I have also tried the wings which are really good too. The drinks are great too. I love the strawberry margarita and the blue Hawaiian here. I love the music and the vibes here. You will always have a good time at Foot Prints. My only issue is the wait. I knew something was wrong when I had to tell them and spell out my three lettered name more than once. I waited 20 minutes just for them to tell me my order wasn't there and I had to CALL grubhub. Late night creep to this spot. I heard so many great things about this place. Especially their Rasta Pasta, and it didn't disappointment me at all. I had a young male server, can't remember his name, but I ordered a coco loso with him and I was well lit off that one drink. The Rasta pasta with Jerk shrimp was to die for, especially if you like spicy food. It was a great size portion, I was able to take some home and have left overs. The pasta was just right. The only compliant I have about this establishment was that it was too small. It was packed on a Friday night, the take out counter's line was to the door. We came to this restaurant because it was close from the rides in Coney Island, we didn't want to wait 2 hrs in line to eat corndogs, so we went across the street and found Footprints. The place has a nice balcony and the decor is decent. I don't think we got the best service ever, it was just ok. The food was priced fairly and they have a big menu full of choices. I ordered fried tofu and it nicely seasoned, I was not super happy about the texture, since it was too soft inside, but it was allright. I have 2 complaints about the place: It takes FOREVER!!!! I ordered a sea moss ...small..which was huge to me... it taste great. Also a sorrel...it was good as well. not too sweet. The roti was huge. My daughter ordered some wings and fries, shes 6 and the plate could have fed 2 people for $10. The staff, not so fancy. I felt avoided for the night. I had to keep hunting down someone for water...forks...for everything. My waiter seemed too stand offish and when she got her tip she was smiling and talkative. the customer service sucks like hell. The tables are close together, space is small. There's no parking lot we had to park by the street since the parking lot is for mc.donalds customers and your car will be towed if you park there. Same as the coney island location...street park. At about 6:30, the food was ready to be picked up by my door dasher. upon my Dashers arrival to the café at 6:50, they had her waiting in line for about an hour and 15 minutes, ignoring social distancing rules so my food to be given to her. It is now 8pm and I am finally getting my food delivered to me. I am very saddened that my favorite restaurant has been so unprofessional with deliveries and their transfer of food to drivers. I went to this place on a Sunday with a group of five friends. It was busy but not overly crowded. I arrived at 3pm. No service until 3:44 pm. That was just for drinks. It was over an hour for the appetizers to arrive. The appetizers were mediocre at best. About 30 to 40 minutes later dinner arrived. Rasta pasta with Cajun shrimp, in all about 5 shrimp on a huge plate of pasta. Around the same amount of shrimp in Chinese take out. That's the food, however the service was extremely slow and the wait staff inattentive, we had to chase them down for everything. The seating is horrible, think pushing five people in a space meant for two. I have nothing good to say about this place and advise anyone to go someplace / anyplace else. read more

I am NOT a pasta lover, never have been. The Rasta Pasta here though? Well, that's an exception. The pasta here is absolutely divine. It's creamy but spicy and extremely flavorful. The restaurant has a ton of options with what you want your pasta to be served with, I chose the chicken stuffed shrimp. My chicken was moist and the brown gravy that it was doused in was delicious. Only complaint probably was the stuffed shrimp, I thought the shrimp was a bit over cooked but other than that, the meal was fab. The portions are large too!! As for drinks, I ordered Sorrel but I heard the place is kind of known for their alcoholic beverages so if you're in the mood, try some of those options. Nonetheless, I was really happy about my choice. It was hands down one of the best Sorrel's I've tried, so much better than those bottled stuff they sell in some restaurants. The ginger flavor is really muted but still present and doesn't punch you in the back of your throat just by inhaling it. I would order it time and time again for sure. Overall, my experience here was great. The service was fast and attentive (maybe because I went on a Thursday night), the food was delicious and really large in size (I have left overs, can't wait to dig in!!), and the place had a great ambiance. The food is great but It can be a hit or miss with the Rasta pasta . Some days it's slamming and your GI tract is fine. Other times it's descent and your farting all over the place . They need to work on the drinks because for the price they should be stronger and intoxicating, . You can order your food two hours early and you will still be waiting and they will still screw up your order. The prices have gone up considerably but the quality has not . This place legit has some fantastic food. You have to try the rasta pasta. It's what they're known for and with good reason. We came in on a very busy night. The music was blasting like we were in a club.There was a 30 minute wait. We told the hostess that we wouldn't have a problem waiting. I did have a problem that three couples walked in after us and were seated immediately. When I asked her about it she immediately told me that our table was available but that it needed to be cleaned. I think if I hadn't said something then we would have been waiting for a while. We were finally seated but it took another 10 minutes for our server to greet us. By this time we knew what we wanted to drink and our appetizers and our main courses. I ordered the cucumber juice, the fish cake appetizer and the rasta pasta with oxtails. Everything was really delicious. The cucumber juice was very refreshing. I could see myself drinking it everyday. The fish cakes were pretty tasty too. But the main event stole the show. The rasta pasta with oxtail was so good. The best way I can explain it is a super remixed alfredo in penne pasta with fall off the bone oxtail. It was spicy, creamy, with a bit of coconut in it. It was just so good. I almost forgot about the wait it took to get it. Overall the food is amazing but service is lacking and not a good spot for you to bring a first date. The music is really loud. I was browsing for a new place to dine and a fried recommended Footprints, so I said cool let me check it out. It's a nice place that plays good music and very high energy. I loved every bit of it.... That is until the 15 min wait turned out to be 30 for a table for two. The seating arrangements are pretty tight. One thing that bothered me the most was the servers reaching over you and behind you to deliver hot food to tables around you. After being seated the services wasn't the best due to a shift change. But once everything was settled things were steadily improving. We ordered the Infamous Rasta Pasta w/ jerk chick(leg&thigh), and the Rasta Pasta w/ snapper. Food didn't take long and boy let me try to explain the palate explosion I received.... The species weren't overpowering and very flavorful. The chicken was cook well. Tender and Normally I worry about ppl putting bottled seasonings on my food but I didn't get that impression. Pasta is creamy and fulfilling. The sauce has hints of the jerk seasoning and that definitely hits the spot. The snapper was crispy and pairs well with this dish too. I loved that it was the whole fish and not fillets. If you want to eat dinner from here, order the morning of and on the phone because if you order from Uber Eats or the like, your food will be delivered 3 hours after you've ordered. I don't know about you, but if I order dinner and it doesn't arrive until midnight I'm not answering my door. You're better off going into the store and ordering the food directly, because God forbid they forget something in the delivery...you'll just have to take that loss. The food is certainly filling but I can't speak to the quality and prices. I was born and raised in Flatbush so I've had better West Indian cuisines than this. The price of a Rasta Pasta alone will make you go to the supermarket and make your own. I think the popularity of its beginning has run it into the ground and they need to revamp to accommodate the volume of people who actually want to eat there so the food matches the hype. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad or unsanitary but the delivery experiences I've had after the chances I've taken turned me off. Give it a try. read more
