This review is mostly about the rude and unprofessional demeaner of the woman who claimed to be the store manager. Unfortunately I didn't get her name, but if I do I will be sure to update my post with it. Never in my life have I ever been treated with such attitude, disrespect and hostility.
I believe it was the 29th of August when I came in to return two pairs of Adidas NMD that were really too big for me. The return went fine, and I even exchanged one of the pairs of shoes for a different pair -- Nike Flyknit which are I think $130. I would have bought the Adidas NMD again in a smaller size but this particular store never gets them in apparently. On my receipt I had bought the two pairs of NMD and a pair of Huarache, I think the total was a little over $300 which gave me a $20 coupon at the bottom. When I went to return/exchange the shoes, the woman helping me who also claimed to be the "store manager" stated that the coupon would no longer be valid because of the return. I didn't really think much of it and said okay, after the return and exchange she kept my original receipt, with the pair of Huaraches on it. As I was walking around the mall, I kept thinking about my $20 coupon... (I know it seems small, but I still wanted to go ask) I mean I still had bought the Huaraches ($110) and exchanged a pair of NMD for Nike Flynits ($130) which makes my total ($240) -- still over the $150 minimum to be receiving the coupon. When I came back in to ask her about it and if there was anything I could do she began yelling at me. (My brother and his girlfriend were sitting in the front of the store and they could hear her, the other associate who was busy helping people couldn't help but watch to see what all the commotion was about...) I asked her if it was possible to do a return and then repurchase the items so I could get my coupon again. She said no. And then she said she had done it in the past and it didn't print the coupon so she wasn't going to do it anymore. But if it is a new transaction, why wouldn't a coupon print? I asked her if she could just try so we could see and she still was adamant and rude and said no. I asked her about my receipt with the Huaraches on it and she says, "So is that what you want?!!" -- grabbed the receipt from the drawer and threw it at me. As I picked up my receipt and turned around to leave I felt like everyone was staring at me as if I did something wrong... As a store manager you should try and do your best to make every customer happy, if you have an attitude and negative demeaner as that, it's off-putting for customers and makes them uncomfortable and unlikely to return. It was a simple request, I wasn't trying to annoy her. I just wanted my coupon... Honestly, the whole situation was extremely embarrassing, I've never had anyone yell at me like that before... read more
