Parking: Plenty…read more There are not many stores open at this mall. It is a rather dark, dreary, desolate & deserted mall. The food court had about 2 - 3 restaurants open, and it was freezing cold. It looks like they have doors open with these large airvac type accordion piping blowing cold air inside. Hopefully, they will get other business & restaurants to return & make the mall more vibrant. 1 is my rating.

Lots of empty spaces and quiet hallways. About 5 retail stores and 2 food court options. A mall's food court always tells the tale when it comes to business and Northlake's court speaks of dismal awareness. This mall has quite nice planters, fountains, and glass roof. None of the stores I came to shop at were currently operational. I ended up purchasing a pretzel, a cookie, and some Oriental food. Couple of Watch repair and Jewelry stores can be considerable. Construction is on going near the back entrance of the building, so I am hopeful that this is a sign of better things to come. Northlake Mall is a shopping mall northeast of Atlanta in the Northlake community of northern DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. The mall was once owned and managed by Simon Property Group - but since February 2016 has been owned by Texas-based ATR Corinth Partners. Anchor store is Macy's. This mall is spacious, clean and well maintained. They have few shops like Macy's, JC Penney in this mall. This mall has other stores including few eateries. Marta bus to Chamblee transit station is available at walkable distance from this mall. They have a spacious parking area.

There's renovation happening! Hopefully, more stores will lease out.

Inside the food court. When we visited there were only 3 active restaurants: American Deli, a burger joint, and a teriyaki place.

Poor customer service can be exhausting! I would sum up…read morethis experience to: 1. Poor customer service 2. Zero problem solving skills Journeys took us on exhausting 'journey' in the case of the "Unshipped Pair of Shoes" Here are the facts of the case involving my husband: He purchased a pair of shoes at the Perimeter store location. Since the size was not available in store, he paid an additional $5 to have it shipped to our home. This didn't sound bad at all. One week later, after not receiving his shoes he decided to track his purchase which popped up as 'Product not found'. He contacted Customer Service via phone and the CSR hastily worked on addressing the issue. The CSR contacted him after rectifying the issue, in under 2 hours, and stated that the pair of shoes can now be reshipped or he could visit the Northlake mall location to pick the shoes. He chose the walk in option since the CSR informed him that despite not having his receipt on hand he could still retrieve it at their Northlake Mall outlet by simply presenting an ID. At Northlake Mall, when my husband began relaying the incident to the Sales Associate, rather than carefully listening to him she interrupted stating that the story was sounded crazy and that she could not do anything without a receipt. It was clear that no assistance would be provided here. We remained in store as we both tried contacting Customer Service once more but we were on hold for over 20 minutes. Calls to the Perimeter Mall branch, were equally unhelpful. This is where things warm up! My nagging made him go back to the sales associate to state his claim once more. She informed him that the stores' systems aren't linked and if you buy something at another location they won't know or be able to validate it. Fed up, she decided to call her manager. She then inquired about the type of shoe he ordered, he proceeded to pick the exact pair off of display. After showing them, another associates quickly realized they had already had the pair of shoes set aside with a print out of his name and address sitting on the floor near the register waiting to be shipped *rolls eyes* Moral of the story: If you're not able to get your shoe size in store, try another location yourself or walk away. While having your order shipped to you might seem convenient, it might actually turn out not to be. A quick note about the Customer Service (via phone) 1. Very warm, helpful and will definitely address your concerns. 2. This person can be the customer service department, by that I mean the only CSR. 3. I'm guessing that CSRs have lunch between midday to 1p.m. OR their shift ended at midday since calls to customer service went unanswered during this time. 4. While you're on hold waiting for a CSR, do not do as the recording suggest and "... press 1 for a call back..." because expecting a call back here is like expecting the Tooth fairy to bring you a unicorn at Easter.

I usually end up walking most of the store because I always seem to find something I didn't come in for. I can honestly say I've never left this location without making a purchase. I tend to visit more often around the holidays, and one thing I really appreciate is that they bring on additional staff during that time. Unlike some retail stores where checkout can easily take 10 minutes or more, the wait here is usually just a few minutes, which makes a big difference when the store is busy. Overall, it's a solid location that's worth browsing.

I was literally CURSED OUT by a customer, who was not wearing a mask, who told ME to keep my A$$ AT HOME if I was scared of catching COVID. I said nothing to this lady. she kept cursing to the point where I turned around as asked ... are you talking about me? I did not speak to her until her curse rants seemed personal. She said yes and then directed her profanities to me. I put down all my items and left. I am not trying to be on CNN beating down this chick. Ladies, if you have a hair weave, all we need to do is grab that weave, snatch you to to ground and start kicking. IJS I will NEVER enter this store again. No one from mgmt intervened. UPDATE: so official word from TJ Maxx is they require masks but can't enforce because customers curse at them just like they cursed at me. i said I understand and may all your stores be full of cursing customers just like that. Me and ALL MY MONEY will go somewhere more civilized
