I shop there frequently however I won't shop there again. I bought a pair of running shoes 3 weeks ago and just realized on Saturday at the Peachtree Road Race that although the shoes looked the same, they were 2 different models. I took them back to Dicks and they refused to do anything about it because the shoes had been worn. They were rude and dismissive-- the clerk and the manager on duty at the time. They wouldn't even look for the mates of each shoe which more than likely were in a box in the back to be sold to someone else as a pair. read more

Stopped into the nearest Dick's to find two items. Luckily I found the first one on my own. I could not find second item. I was looking I. The right area but overlooked it. After looking around a few minutes, the store associate Mason asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for. He stopped what he was doing and walked me directly to the item. Huge store with a really big selection of a lot of things. In particular, we came in looking for Atlanta United apparel and there were several options in a wide range of options from youth to women's and men's. There was also a ton of Braves, Hawks, etc. stuff. My bf also impulse bought a pair of Hurley swim shorts. The prices are about what I would expect to pay for this kind of merchandise. We didn't interact with anyone at the store besides the cashier. They have a thing in the shoe section where you can scan the barcode on a shoe you're interested in trying on in order to see if they have your size. If they don't, they recommend other shoes that could be a good fit (literally). Not surprisingly there was not much in stock in a women's size 5 but that's just the story of my life. read more

We visited Dick's Sporting Good in Tucker. The shoe department employees were very slow and inattentive. The process is impersonal because you are responsible for requesting shoes on a kiosk in hopes of an employee bringing them from the storage area. The employees present were visible annoyed with my wife who needed to try several pairs of shoes. She had ankle surgery in February, and needs to find a safe and comfortable walking shoe. We spent over $200. Service was mediocre, at best. Employees in the shoe department were unhelpful. We would have purchased more however no one seemed interested in answering questions or offering assistance. We will not return. read more

So Dicks sells a c hair by kiljaro rock back chair. I bought it 5/31... It's been unfolding ever since. So I decided to bring it back to the store for an exchange or upgrade to a better chair. I even told them I'll pay I will pay the difference to get a better chair. So the person named Earl stated he was a manager but had to call a manger over to assist me. Stated the. Hair has been used I advised I understand but I'm within a 90 day return period but that so called person Earl wouldn't assist me. Then another person I'm not sure who he was called someone and just told me no. This is crazy Dicks needs better trained people especially Earl and the need to stop selling chairs that break down so quickly. Last time coming to this store. This place is the brand new store just opened in Tucker, GA. I have been to the other locations, this is little smaller in size compare to them. But you do get everything what you find at the other franchisees. This is the same sporting goods chain with equipment, apparel and footwear for athletics, outdoor recreation and fitness. Tons of brands and styles to choose from anything related to indoor or outdoor activities and sports related stuff. The sales representatives, floor staff and people on register are so helpful and friendly here. Plenty of help if you need it. Kudos to the management team for clearly training their people and consistently maintaining a positive environment. They seemed to have good levels of inventory too and well organized. The store is huge and it can be an inconvenience if you do not know where everything is and you are looking on all over for one item. Fantastic Golf pro shop, repairs available. The store is very Clean and nicely arranged. The public restrooms that are very clean. They do have bike service. They have almost everything, but a little pricey unless they are having a sale. As it is a new place the sale things might start later the time. Great big selection. Best shoe selection that I see here. It is a worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. Ample free parking in the plaza and in front of the store. I would sure visit this place again to any of my sports related shopping. read more

Love this store, they have so many things for outdoor activities and workouts. They have a great selection of women workout gear especially a big selection of Nike and Adidas. They have sales on their items very often and you might walk in one day and see a great sale on some things you you really like. Their best sales are usually around the holidays or during the season change since they're trying to get ready for the next season. They can be a little pricey but some of the items are worth it especially if you really need it and can't find it anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their was a gentleman that worked in the shoe department had great customer service. He checked on me a few times to make sure everything was ok and if needed any help with a shoe. They're located off 285 not too far from the exit. Their in a shopping plaza near Sprouts & Ross. Not too hard to miss, very noticeable. read more

The worst Dicks in the metro Atlanta area. Everything is extremely limited here. If you are a tennis player don't even waste your time. They only sell beginner rackets, have the WORST tennis shoes, and have almost no tennis gear. Their Nike selection is also the worst I've seen. I'm mad I wasted my time driving here. read more

I went here to get some comfortable waterproof shoes for walking many miles in wet conditions. The man working in the shoe department was extremely helpful. He showed me many options and explained the pros and cons of each option. The cashier was also very polite. Only thing I don't like is that DSG offers $10 off for orders placed online but picked up in-store over $50. Why not offer the same $10 off for purchases made in store? read more

Honestly, I am completely impressed with this whole shopping plaza. Decades ago, it was home to physicians. Over the years, it got abandoned and just sat there until a few months ago. I mainly heard about it due to the new Sprouts being in the area. They are popping up everywhere. I have never stopped in Dick's Sporting Goods. We happened to head over because we were looking for workout straps for strength, quality ones. In addition, we were also looking for running socks. Everyone was outgoing and wanted to help out. When I got to the register, I was asked if I wanted to be part of the rewards program, it's free. Sure, why not? I love looking at deals. I love Dick's.. like love, love. This location though... is testing my loyalty. Pros: Great parking Located next to other appealing stores Cons: Rude staff Hate coupons Limited selection Unfortunately, I have a tendency to wear primarily workout clothing for all occasions, which means I frequent Dick's often. First suggestion, carry women's shoes!! For the love. Literally 5 choices, and they are all hideous. None of the popular or functional styles. ZERO Metcons, yet you carry a variety for men. Infuriating. Second, if you send out coupons, DO NOT treat me with disgust when ringing me up. Third, take the time to find and hire managers that actually practice good customer service and care about the business. Fourth, when there are sizes and styles in stock, people purchase more. Or at the very least, what they are looking for. I refuse to come back to this location after being charged the wrong amount two visits in a row. The store is very visually appealing and there's a good amount of sale items as well full retail priced item. I visited for the first time ( and probably last) to get sweat shirts for my kids. While I did interact with one particularly helpful, professional gentleman. I also was forced to interact with a very rude and just flat out ridiculous employee on my way out of the store (with my already purchased merchandise). The detector was beeping, because of my purse ( although I've shopped everywhere with the same purse over the past 3 yrs with no problems). Anyway once, it was already confirmed that I was not in possession of any un-purchased merchandise, this particular employee continued to badger me and on my way out and rudely remarked, "Well you need to get that fixed, you're embarrassing your kids". Just wow. I did email corporate about the incident, and received an auto-reply that they would respond within 24hrs. I'm still waiting for a reply 3wks later. read more

I was desperately in need of an Atlanta United shirt for the game and I saw that Dick's had a nice selection online. So I decided to take a chance and check out the local store. This Dick's store is located in a newer shopping complex in Tucker. Store is very clean and organized. The United shirts were close to the entrance and they indeed had various styles in this store. A number of dressing rooms to try things on. The cashier was very nice and the checkout line was not long. read more

While at the cashier, I was asked in a rude manner for a donation and then she stated she was the store manager, which was not true. I asked for the store manager again and the manager apologized, but the lady kept interrupting in a rude way and telling another coworker about how these situations happen all the time. I got invited to an Atlanta United game at the last minute and was in a rush to find a team shirt to wear. I called several stores to inquire whether or not they had what I was searching for. Some places didn't have any and others left me on hold for an extremely long time. I eventually called this Dick's location and was helped immediately. The sales person informed me that they carried a selection of Atlanta United merchandise and had women's t-shirts in stock. The location seems fairly new and it's located in a pretty large shopping plaza on Lavista road. The Atlanta United merchandise was right in the front of the store which was really helpful and they had quite a few t-shirts to select from. The sales person who I spoke with on the phone rang me up and instantly recognized me from my call earlier. She was so pleasant! I was in a rush, so I didn't have time to browse the store. I did see some really cute Nike attire, so I'm looking forward to returning and purchasing more items. read more

Every time I've been into this store I swear I'll never come again! I needed gloves really badly so I did it again, the gloves were tightly clipped together so that you couldn't get your hand inside to check the fit. I asked the employee if there was a way to try gloves on and all she said was "I'm not sure"! There is never more than one cashier up front and she had other customers but didn't offer to call for help. Management at all Dicks stores must be bad. read more

This particular store may be wonderful, but Customer Service for Dick's Sporting Goods is beyond pathetic. I was prepared to spend over $500 at this store today, but wanted to make sure what I wanted was in stock. Couldn't find a phone number for this store on the internet so I called their Customer Service number. I was told "it is a new store so the website doesn't list a phone number" Umm...that's why I called Customer Service!!!!! Then the Customer Service Rep suggested I call 411 to see if they had a number for the store. I was stunned and told her she should be able to get me that number as she was Customer Service. She then told me that she had "googled the store and could not find a number". WTFH?!?!? I did get a number from 411 and the store won't answer. While cashing out at the New Dick's in Tucker, I asked the sales associate do they grant miltary or veterans discount she repeatedly said no. I was pretty sure they did because I've received dicounts at the Norcross store in the past. So I asked her to call manager and she refused to call her manger saying their no discount. Thanks Kenya! Another sales associate name Earl step in call the manager for verification and guess what they offer the discount. After I cashed out Ms Kenya continue to say we still do not offer veterans discount! 4 people behind the counter...only one checkout person. First time in, usually I'm an REI person but thought I'd give this a shot since I was in the neighborhood. Cashier busy doing what he was supposed to be doing with just one customer but it was pretty involved....one other gentlemen packing boxes said hello, fine enough. The other gentleman (manager) looked up, saw me, glanced at the cashier then went back to doing whatever it was he was doing...no acknowledgement or a hello. I waited, and waited. Too long. The manager should've jumped in. By the time I walked away and put the items back...then had to walk around to just get out of the store the cashier had just finished. He was courteous and said have a good day. Again, he was doing what I would consider good customer service...taking care of his customer. I like good service...I also want the manager to jump in and help when needed....your shop, your rep. I saw the other woman come up and begin a convo after I'd been waiting so that's not a excuse. You should've checked me out first. I'll probably try you out again, next time I'm around. If I'm ignored I'll just go back to REI permanently. read more
