a grocery store aisle filled with products

The store's remodeling is complete. It's now much nicer inside. The meat deli can stand to have several more varieties of meat added. They seem to be a little light on the selection.

Rotting artichoke sadly among other items I purchased two days ago that are completely spoiled from the inside.

I stumbled upon this place because I was on the hunt for quinep or mamoncillos. Being from Florida we typically have individuals selling them on the street in the summer months but I gave up hope being able to find them here in VA. Lo and Behold, Campo Market came to the rescue with an amazing supply of them! Along with delicious looking mangos and others varieties of fruit. The cashier was very kind and helped me source what I was looking for and bagged them up nicely. I will say the store is a bit cramped but that is just because the shelves are full with all of the things. I can not imagine a scenario where you would walk out of this market empty handed. This place is really a gem, if you're into exotic fruit or you're like me and looking for something somewhat niche that you grew up with this may be the spot to check out!

The service is always friendly and helpful. Everyone is very welcoming and enthusiastic about what they have to offer. It's very clean and neat with no odd doors emanating from the butcher counter. Before I get any further into my review, if you're Dominican, Puerto Rican, or Honduran, just come! They have so much hard to find stuff there. Dominicans - It's a Dominican-owned market modeled after a typical colmado, so just come! What you need is there. Ask if you don't see it. Haitians - Everything is there. Everything! Whatever you need, you'll find it, even bulk cloves. Puerto Ricans - They have recao and Puerto Rican coffee, plus the obvious guineo verde, plátanos, yuca, name, etc Hondurans - They actually sell the peppercorns and cumin seed packets to grind fresh. Seriously?! They even have cacao, like the beans, bagged, fresh. Crazy! Like $7 for a ziplock bag Mexicans, you have not been forgotten. All of your dried peppers are available in bulk, but actually in covered containers, so that's a plus! Even bulk chiltepin. Don't miss the dollar bags because they often have Roma tomatoes. You can make all the different tomato-based salsas you can think of. Americans - Great prices for meat, both fresh options and prepared with delicious seasoning and ready-to-cook. Huge bell peppers for just $0.89. Good prices for spices and rice. Much better prices for oxtail and chicken than the supermarket. Best prices for red onion. Garlic with massive cloves, yum, yum! Better price than the store for the size. Cubans and other Latin Caribbeans - Best price for masitas de cerdo - yay! This one is for everyone--You'll find amazing teas available with blends for everything ranging from respiratory troubles to digestive issues, to immunity, and sleep. The blends are excellent, and the price is comparable to the supermarket, but better blends. You'll find linden, lavender, passiflower, valerian, turmeric, elderflower, etc. all the good stuff! For fruit, best price for watermelons because the size is bigger, and the price is already good People, let's support our smaller local markets! We need them, and they need us! Don't let the big markets stomp out our local color! Dollar bags are amazing! Kroger has nothing on what you get for a dollar in the markdown section. If you're smart in your planning and storage, not a reason at all for any of it to go bad before you finish it all. It's a big produce bag, nowhere near the more or less quart size quantity found at Kroger. Come by, grab your groceries, and even grab a bite of house made meats cooked over wood fire for lunch and dinner. It all smells absolutely amazing! I've heard there's a mix of everything, and the owner is a trained chef. Last I heard was some pineapple fajita meat. Yummy!! For those who drink, they have alcohol for purchase as well. Great spot to actually do the bulk of your regular groceries.

I visited this location for a weekly grocery run and was very impressed with my experience. As we are in the middle of a pandemic, grocery shopping has been a source of stress, but at Publix, everything is smooth sailing! The store associates provide customer service on a level rivalled only by Disney. I was given a freshly sanitized cart as I walked into the store and appreciated how they implemented measures to keep both customers and associates safe. The prices are a little higher than Kroger, but you can frequently find buy one get one free deals, which is nice. They have a large selection of conventional and organic produce available and everything is fresh! The bakery and deli also have an impressive selection. The highlight of my experience was the staff. Every single associate I encountered was polite, friendly, and working very hard to create a pleasant shopping experience. This location is a little bit out of my way, but I will be back to shop soon as the experience was an absolute delight.

Now I'm realizing the date is June2, 2026! Never dawned on me to check the year. I think I'm going to throw up. That is completely unacceptable and I can't even fathom how they are selling yogurt almost an entire year past the sell by date!
