This place carries a hint of that Teeter familiarity but stretches wider, almost like someone blended a neighborhood grocery with a scaled down Walmart and then polished the edges so it still feels like a supermarket rather than a full blown everything store. Groceries, softlines, a few appliances, long aisles that seem to go on forever, and that slightly dizzying sense that you could wander for a while and still not see it all. She was taking it in with that mix of curiosity and surprise that makes a simple errand feel like a small field trip. Dinner became its own little puzzle. We drifted through the heat and eat section, which always looks promising until you realize nothing is quite calling your name. The frozen aisle had its own appeal, mostly because the cold air felt good, but everything there felt too heavy for the night. The deli sandwiches looked fine but not inspiring. So we circled back to the basics that never let you down: a bag of grapes, some sliced cheese, two tomatoes that looked like they had been waiting for us, and a loaf of bread. Simple ingredients, easy to assemble, and perfect for sandwiches made in the Sprinter, which somehow always taste better when you put them together on the road. Self checkout was a breeze, just a quick scan of everything and we were rolling back out into the evening without any fuss. A smooth little stop, the kind that slips neatly into the rhythm of a travel day and leaves you feeling like you made the right call at every turn. One option was marked as buy one, get one half off, so I grabbed a couple. At checkout, they only rang up with $1 off. I showed the cashier the sign, and she quickly noticed the deal had expired the day before. I mentioned someone should probably take the sign down, and she immediately agreed and said, "You're absolutely right, but I'm going to honor it for you." That kind of customer service is rare these days--I've been to other stores where they wouldn't do that. I truly appreciated it, especially since I hadn't even noticed the date. Just another reason I'll keep coming back!

Once we finished up and returned to the sprinter, I steered us over here for a quick in‑and‑out shop, the kind of tactical grocery stop that becomes second nature when you're traveling and trying to stay on plan. A pack of sliced turkey, a pack of sliced cheese, a handful of cheese sticks, and a bag of pork rinds went straight into the basket. Yay, snacks. It felt like assembling a small survival kit for the rest of the morning. The only disappointment was the empty shelf where the keto sliced bread usually sits. Sad face. It's funny how you don't realize how much you rely on one dependable product until the spot is bare and you're left staring at the little price tag like it might magically summon a loaf. Other than that, it was an easy, pleasant shop. No line, no fuss, and the self‑checkout behaved itself. Within a few minutes we were back in the sprinter and heading toward downtown Augusta again, ready for more sightseeing and whatever the day wanted to hand us next, snacks safely tucked away for later.
