Foliage and Flour is a local baker whose goods you can find at lots of places in town like Crow's Hold, Creston and Fulton Street farmers markets, Littlefoot Coffee, Maison Blanc, the Crumb Collective, and the Honeysuckle Co. You can also order from them directly each week. Their menu usually rotates weekly but typically includes shortbread and sourdough, and some other fun items like cookies etc.
The owners are so kind and their baked goods are delicious. I love their shortbread - it's so buttery and not overly sweet, which I prefer. We recently got the blueberry lemon shortbread which was the perfect summer treat. We also had a loaf of their cheddar jalapeno sourdough, which was so flavorful and has the perfect texture. I ate it toasted with butter, but I think it would make an awesome BLT.
I do wish they had half loaves for sale. I know the sourdough can be frozen, but my freezer is where food goes to die, I always forget about stuff there so I try to avoid freezing stuff. If you like baked goods, definitely check out Foliage and Flour! read more
