I've been getting a bag of Mosby's popcorn at every event at Van Andel for the past year or so (including multiple volleyball games, basketball games, hockey games, and concerts). It's more expensive than the generic stuff (don't get me wrong, I also love that kind), but it's so worth it. You can choose from several different flavors, but my go-to is the butter. We have recently been adding some hot cheeto flavor too, which is very fun. I prefer savory popcorn, so I can't comment on any of the sweet options, but the popcorn is always crispy and flavorful. I love being able to support this locally owned small business at events downtown. They also have a storefront right on Ionia. If you love popcorn or need a gift idea, definitely check out Mosby's!

The recipes have been updated and the cheddar popcorn I tried was absolutely divine. The cheese flavor is strong and savory, without tasting fake. I can't wait to try more flavors. The popcorn was crisp and fresh, and not at all stale. I also had the GR mix, which is white cheddar and caramel - super delicious. The caramel isn't the super crispy coating you might be used to but I think it's because they don't use high fructose corn syrup. You can tell it's real brown sugar. They also introduced some more products for sale, including popcorn making supplies, local snacks, and gifts. It's definitely a one stop shop if you need a gift for a food lover! The bags of popcorn come in varying sizes, with the smallest bags starting at around $6. They also installed a Brix soda fountain option so I tried the pomegranate lemonade, which was perfectly sweet and lightly carbonated. Service by Pepper was incredible - so sweet and kind. I wanted a sweet treat after dinner at Ato Sushi recently, and I remembered loving the hot fudge at Kilwins, so that's where we ended up... again! Nate and I were greeted right away as we walked in and told that we could sample the ice cream. The employees were very kind and patient, as they have a lot of flavors to choose from, including several I'd never seen before. They make their own ice cream, which is fun since we have a lot of Hudsonville ice cream in this area (nothing wrong with that! It's just nice to see some different options sometimes). I got a single scoop of the berry pie flavor, which is vanilla ice cream with swirls of strawberry and blueberry, and pie crust pieces mixed in. Yum! I added the decadent hot fudge and was so happy.
