I like going to the farmers market on Friday mornings when it's less busy, so last Friday I arrived around 8 am and wanted a bite to eat for breakfast. El Jalapeno doesn't have a "regular" breakfast menu during the week (I heard an employee say they only have breakfast on the weekends), but I'll eat anything at breakfast time. I ordered a steak burrito which was about $12. There were a couple of picnic tables near the truck so I sat and waited for my food. I should have asked for it to go, as it came out on a paper plate, but I decided it would be best to eat at least part of it when it was hot and fresh anyway. The burrito was massive! I definitely could have split it with Nate, who went into the market to get a different breakfast option. I took half home for later. The steak was flavorful and seasoned well and the burrito was stuffed with lots of fillings; rice, lettuce, refried beans, tomato, sour cream, and a side of salsa. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious - I particularly liked the refried beans in the burrito, which was surprising for me, because usually I could go without. The employees were all super friendly and polite and the smells wafting out of the truck were mouth-watering! I would love to try more of their food in the future and look forward to visiting them again soon.

I would say it was also priced very reasonably when comparing it to other food vendors we were looking at for our rehearsal dinner. I would recommend that if you have over 30ish people though that you pay for the extra person to help serve just to make thing go by quicker! They arrived on time and were so friendly and were always very patient with all of my questions that I had for them during wedding planning!

The taco bar at the reception was so much better than just a simple taco bar, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The food truck menu was stunning. Their breakfast burrito, burger, and mac and cheese were delicious, but the star of the show was the grilled cheese. I was blown away by it and was recommending it to guests all day. We received so many compliments from our family and friends on the food. Plus, Abbie and her team were great to work with before and during the event. They made things easy and helped us focus on enjoying ourselves. We're so grateful for them and highly recommend their catering and food truck!

We hadn't planned on stopping at a food truck.but the sandwiches looked delicious so we gave it a try. We each ordered different sandwiches, mine was a veggie. It was piled high with toppings, plenty of cheese, and the mayo and mustard I had requested. It was excellent! My friends selected other sandwiches and they were extremely happy with their choices too. We all ordered homemade potato salad and it was tasty. The servings were generous. Fast friendly service. A lovely agent moved us to an earlier flight that promptly canceled... then back to our original flight, which was still delayed, but they had a new plane inbound to get everyone out that day. The staff were kind enough to explain as we went, despite ignoring their suggestion to get 1-2ea, they didn't give us the I told you so on our 2nd order. They were tasty lil treats - hot & fresh. We all preferred the sweet over the savory, despite savory being our go-to... if you happen to be where they are, give em a shot... you may thwart a broken ankle or the like!

In a taiyaki. Solid. The strawberry matcha flavor was a new batter that they were trying out and honestly I think they still have a little fine tuning to do with it but I enjoyed the flavor. It wasn't overpowering or overly grassy like lots of matcha flavored items. If you haven't tried this Japanese street food, I highly recommend you stop by on their next pop up! The owners are incredibly kind people that clearly have passion and take great pride in what they do.
