We were lucky enough to snag a table in the corner and it was the perfect spot to catch up with my friend. It is seat yourself! Our waitress arrived quickly and we ordered drinks and food. The fried pickles for an appetizer were amazing. Some of the best fried pickles I've had in a while and the ranch was soooo good. Also the portion is huge so we were able to take a lot of home. I had my eye on the mortadella with pistachio cream sandwich from the moment they posted the special on Facebook and it was everything I expected. Sooo yummy and I would eat this everyday for the rest of my life. Super fresh and all the ingredients just paired so nicely. Two Guys Brewing also has a community fridge where they make and put out free meals for those in need and people can come grab some. It's awesome. Can't wait to go back!

We sat at a table for a change…read moreand were waited on by a fantastic woman - whose name I can't remember (I really need to do better with this). To drink he had the Sodfather that he joked was actually made with sod as it smelled very "earthy". Not a highlight for either of us. For a "light" beer it was skunky and surprisingly hoppy. I had the Sparking Anderson seltzer and was pleased with it. It was a watermelon lime (I think?) and it had the right ratio of flavor to fizz for me. The absolute highlight was the PIZZA FLIGHT. What the what!? We have never heard of such a thing and we were so excited! This gave us an opportunity to try some flavors/kinds we likely would not have tried otherwise. Each kind of pizza had 4 slices, which we assumed would be about 2 bites per piece, but they were bigger than that. Each flight serves 4+ people, but for the price, $35 )if I remember right) is a hell of a deal. Being there early afternoon there were a lot of tables with kids, and when you figure you can feed your family for that price - this makes Mitten Brewing a no brainer. The pizza was some of the best I've had - for that specific style of pizza. The crust was flatbread style, chewy and such a good flavor. We should have asked for a side ranch to dip the crust in, it was that good. We will absolutely go back when we have the chance.

This was unfortunately our first and last visit…read more We arrived and were seated, but just a few minutes later were rushed to place our food order. While we understand they were closing in about an hour, the way we were treated felt unprofessional. We ordered one sandwich--the Hash Slingin' Slasher--and handed over our card to start a tab. From the start, we felt unwelcome. We sat in a corner and were being stared at by other customers, who appeared to be regulars & family members. The difference in treatment between them and us was striking. Most concerning was the young bartender, whose behavior was clearly unprofessional. She was rude and dismissive toward us, yet extremely friendly, upbeat, and attentive to everyone else. This made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable for first-time guests. Around 7:06 PM, an older couple arrived. The staff greeted them warmly with smiles and even hugs. They had no issues ordering food, were asked about drinks, and were made to feel welcome. Meanwhile, we were rushed, ignored, and never asked about drinks. When I went up to order a mocktail, a bottle of peach sangria to go, and a box for our sandwich, all conversation stopped. Multiple regulars & family members turned and stared at me--it wasn't subtle. My fiancée noticed it too. It didn't feel like a "closing soon" situation; it felt exclusionary. We had stopped by once before near closing time and met Nicholas, who was very kind--that's why we came back. Sadly, his kindness couldn't overcome the unprofessional behavior and uncomfortable atmosphere. The canned meads are excellent, the bottled wines are solid, and the food itself was good, but the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome.

Unfortunately, the food, beer, and service were all just okay for me. The beers were pretty mediocre, and we tried the duck confit nachos, which sounded much more exciting than they actually were. They were fine, but nothing particularly special or memorable. Service was also mediocre. We had a pretty large group, so I'm sure that didn't make things easier, but we waited about an hour and a half just to be seated. Part of our group was made up of small children, and it seemed like we could have been accommodated sooner given that there was plenty of flexibility with our seating. Overall, I really wanted to love Brewery Vivant because the atmosphere is so unique, but the experience just didn't live up to the setting. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back.
