Love this place! Good spot for a burger or hot dog! They have lots of plants and also video games set up in the back if you wanna play! The service is excellent! Kind and super great people! Food is delicious and comforting and something you crave! Definitely recommend!

Apparently I have been living under a rock because I didn't get to try this place out until today. Holy amazeballs! They have THE best Jamocha shake. I got a chili cheese dog (chili, cheese, onions) and added hot peppers to it, and also an elote dog (mayo, corn, hot cheeto crumbs). My husband got the Chicago dog (green relish, sport peppers, pickle spears, mustard, tomatos) and Hot Pepper dog (tomatos, saurkraut, deep fried hot dog, hot peppers). They were all so good! I love that the hot dogs are snappy, and they are super generous with the toppings. We got chili cheese fries and the owner recommended that we eat them with the curry mayo. 10/10 recommendation. Our hot dogs came out super fast, which was awesome because I didn't realize that they close at 7 and we walked in at 6:30, but they were super friendly and accommodating. This is now one of my new favorite hotdogs spots!

I got takeout from One Stop Coney, and I've heard great things about the hamburgers but I decided on getting a chili cheese dog. It was very filling, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. I got mine with extra pickles, and there was a nice crunch with the warmth of the chili. I would get this again for sure. I have never eaten in the restaurant (yet), but I hear good things about the people that work there and help serve you.

Overall, just a really great place. It's a little hole in the wall but it's huge on atmosphere and flavor! The music in the background just sets the mood, right. They're not trying to be the local nightclub. Their tunes are mellow just to fit the vibe of sitting here eating a couple hot dogs looking out the window onto the street watching cars go by. If you're in Grand Rapids and you've got time and you're in the mood for a good quality hot dog, you're not gonna find a better place !!

Hot dog paczki special

Had to try the hotdog paczki hot dog. It's basically a jelly filled doughnut with a hotdog and shredded cheese on top. It was really good. I was surprised oh and I also had the Korean corn dog which someone said was like a sweet hot dog and it is. It's like a hotdog covered by a deep fried doughnut

This is one of my favorite places! The prices are super reasonable and the portions are great! The staff is super fun, efficient, and just so nice. Everything I've had is delicious. I personally like the hot dogs the most. They have an assortment of ketchups like curry ketchup that are all great and fun to try. The restaurant is small but you can get food to go when you order. I like all the gaming and tv memorabilia then have decorating the restaurant.

So good!! Maybe the Detroit

I did a search on Yelp in the area, and One Stop Coney Shop popped up as a highly favorable place. I was in the mood to try some Coney Dogs, and looking over the reviews and pics this place looked really good. Well I must tell you this place did not disappoint! It lived up to the hype and expectations, excellent quality coney dogs and selections. I walked in and they were a bit busy, only a few tables to sit but nearly all taken so the 2 staff were vigorously working the queue. I first noticed they had ranch dressing on a pump - wow - and curry ketchup too. Turns out they make those in-house, and I sampled them - - very good. Looking over the menu I also asked for some feedback, of course everything is good here, I like a selection so we got the Detroit, Flint, Chicago, and GR. Oh - and Fried Bologna Sandwich? Hell yes. And the threw in some fries for me - very nice! Food comes out pretty quick here, they are relatively efficient with their execution. We were so pleased with everything we sampled. Here's the breakdown: - Chicago Dog - this was my favorite. It was authentic, hotdog had a nice snap, poppy seed bun, the right relish, it was superb. I nearly ate the whole thing right there but held back since there were others to sample. - The Flint - has different chili, and I think this was my 2nd place hotdog - although to be honest the Chili Cheese Dog and Detroiter were so good too, they are all in the same group. I loved all of these dogs, very authentic, great flavor too, the chili was spot-on. - The GR is a new one for me, it has the shredded dill pickle onions. The owner (Conner - very nice guy) said this is a popular item on the menu and it did not disappoint. I liked the shredded dill pickle on it. - Fried Bologna Sandwich - very good, on Texas Toast, full of flavor. I liked something different and I am a bologna fan, I would definitely get this again. The lettuce and mayo provide a refreshing additive to the sandwich. - The Fries - were fabulous. A little thicker cut, but they were fresh and made to order which I appreciated - not sitting in the bin. Some of the best fries I've had since I could remember, crispy and full of flavor. On our 2nd visit back several weeks later, we got a repeat of the above but also added Onion Rings and the Olive Burger. The Onion Rings have a very crispy coating, crunchy, and if you like that (instead of breaded or softer coating) then you will love these onion rings. Very good. I was really impressed with their Olive Burger. Plenty of olives and it married well with the meat. Other olive burgers I've tried had too much of the mayo spread and not enough olives, very disappointing, but One Stop's Olive Burger rocks! I would definitely get this again and highly recommend! The owner is often here and he is a really nice guy, loves to talk coneys and Michigan and anything and everything festive. Very friendly and superb customer service every time I have been here. I also have to mention I am so very pleased with the portions and what you get for your money here. Hotdogs are large, they snap, taste great, and plenty of chili and toppings on it - they do not skimp here. The quality of their food here is top notch. I cannot say enough about One Stop Coney Shop - they are now my go-to Coney Island in the west side of the mitten. Highly recommend.

Detroit style coney with onion rings

As a native Detroiter living in GRap, I am beyond upset that I'm just now trying One Stop because they have by far the best coneys in the area. Strolled in after a library visit a couple weeks ago (and again today) and so glad I did. The shop is small however they do have seating inside and two tables with two chairs each outside. Despite how busy it can be, each customer is greeted when they walk in which is rare these days. The prices were comparable and they have a variety of coneys. The Detroit coney made me feel like home and was absolutely delicious with the toppings piled sky high! The onion rings are HUGE! I liked the ranch dusting however if you're not a fan, make sure to get them without. The fries are also a great portion and tasty! I plan to stop in every time I take my daughter to the main branch of the library, it's totally worth it!

Finally, I get to try this place.....the place that's made me drool for months! I follow their tasty adventures on Instagram and One Stop has been on my list for a while. You need to come with an appetite, it's not healthy at all BUT you're allowed to indulge! We ordered a variety of hot dogs and a burger. The dogs were delicious! They were not lacking in quality which was very much appreciated. If condiments are wild...great...however, the core of a hot dog is the hot dog! Thank you One Stop for staying true to this principle ! The elote dog was my favorite but so was the corn dog. I love a good corn dog, keep it classic! A must try us the curry mayo. Wow! It really paired nicely with the kimchi dog. If you're into curry this is where it's at! One note, the music vibes were totally awesome. I was jamming the whole time. Please visit you won't be disappointed !

Grand Rapids Dog, Elote Dog, Detroit-style fries

Very generous on their toppings and some creative menu offerings. Loved the elote dog and their fresh fries! The dog itself was pretty standard, but service was great and super fast. Would eat again!

Cheeseburger

I love the retro quirkiness of this shop plus their monster house plants. They even have a Nintendo 64 in the back with two controllers to play with. Parking available right out front (pay by meters or the MOTU app; free after 5pm). The cheeseburger had good flavor but the buns threw me off. It has a croissant like density so when you go in for a bite, it's feels flat. The pickles were cut a bit too thick and the mustard smeared a little heavy because it came across as sour to me. The fries were good. They have 3 ketchup flavors that you can help yourself to at the counter: regular, garlic, and curry. Mustard and mayo available too. The veggie dogs themselves were deep fried and dry. The chippy dippy which has dill sauce, potato chips, & fresh dill had a nice flavor. The chili cheese was lacking. I'd like to come back to try other items. Their "ripped" (deep fried) hot dogs have some out there toppings that I bet would be great non-veggie.

The menu is concise and they do these classics well. They also have a daily milkshake and weekly food features. I still need to visit for their Sunday brunch! I've now been to the GR location many times and really appreciate how dialed in they've gotten over the years. You can order at the counter to go or get table service. The space is large and bright and good for groups. On my most recent visit, I was trying to decide between a burger and a chicken sandwich, and realized I'd never had the BBQ chicken club, which is listed as a grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. Our server told me that people like it if they are looking for something without fried chicken... but I really wanted fried chicken. So I asked if I could do that with fried chicken instead and she said absolutely! Their menu is super customizable, which is great to know. Our food came out quickly and I was impressed with the presentation of the sandwich. I like that they wrap it in paper which makes it easier to eat. It was a little messy towards the end with the BBQ sauce and mayo, but it was delicious and totally worth it. The veggies were fresh, the chicken was juicy, and the bacon was crispy... I'm thinking this might be my new go-to! Their burgers and other chicken sandwiches are also delicious. They have a full bar and fun cocktails, and happy hour Tuesday-Friday! Parking in the area is always a bit of a challenge, especially with continued construction nearby, but there are metered spots and some paid lots within walking distance.

Savory and sweet and finger-licking good. I could've licked the plate, seriously! The sandwich was really tasty too and the perfect size at a great price. All of my friends were pleased with their meals too and we had good service. I hear that they have a really tasty brunch so I'll be sure to come check that out soon!

For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything.
