I'm not sure when Bigfoot Burger opened, but they're a welcome addition to Plainfield! My husband and I spotted them on the way home one day (by the food truck outside) and decided to try them for lunch the next day. The dining area is pretty small; I assume they do a lot of to-go orders, so its nice that they even have tables. You order at the counter, so it has more of a to-go vibe anyway, though the space is still comfortable and welcoming. It was also very clean, which was nice. The burgers were very flavorful, and they have a ton of fun, creative options on the menu. I had the Aloha Bigfoot, my husband had a traditional burger. The patties are a really good size, and they don't skimp on the toppings. They also come with a generous side of fries, and the fries were really good too. I'm more of a fork and knife eater, so for me, the burger was great! It was a lot of toppings, and slightly messy toppings at that, so I definitely didn't mind using silverware. My husband, on the other hand, eats burgers like normal people. He found it pretty messy, and pretty hard to eat. The patty didn't hold together super well, so he ended up needing a fork as well to eat what fell out. In his opinion, the flavors were there, but the bun and the patty could be improved. I would go back for the Aloha burger, as well as a couple others on the menu I'm curious about. While they are a little on the pricey side, the portions are large, the space is clean, and they have a lot of creative options. I would love to go back for lunch again, even if its for takeaway.

I got the pickle foot with garlic parm fries. The garlic parm fries didn't have much flavor to them. We asked for medium burgers and ended up well done. Burger didn't have much flavor to it. The chipotle mayo was good tho and pickle fries

i joined my husband and his buddy for dinner at BigFoot Burger and i had no regrets! i got there early and while i was waiting i saw multiple cars pull in to pick up and order and a few people dining in. the parking lot is shared with Tilted Tulip and other non food businesses. i loved all the decor in here especially the lego BigFoot Burger truck and i believe his name was Bob? the green plant covered mascot sitting right by the entryway. i got the Burger of the Month - kinda. since they ran out of the corn topping for july's burger of the month so i took a recommendation from one of the cooks ! i dont remember what all was on it but i know it was a chorizo based burger and it was delicious. i got the 1/4lb which was enough to satisfy your hunger but not stuff yourself. my husband got the 1/2lb chee burger and his buddy got the 1/2lb aloha burger with onion rings. i tried one of the onion rings and it was perfection. i'll definitely get a side of onion rings along with fries next time i go! they have a variety of sides to choose from such as mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, fried pickles, and chicken nuggets which definitely aren't typical burger sides which i thought was interesting. all the burgers on their menu sounded delicious and flavorful and i'm ready to try them all! they also had some sweets from Sandy's Fudge shop which i've never heard of but it looks like it's from another small business which is a plus! definitely can't wait to come back for more bold burgers!

One of the specials I got: the slider sampler (the Olive You, Man, Shroomin' Swiss and the Mykonos)

I am so happy Bigfoot exists! This little place on Plainfield has a fun, friendly vibe going. The service has always been great, and the food is fantastic! It probably has the most eclectic burger menu in GR, but it's their signature beef blend and awesome toppings that make the burgers really stand out. Whether you want something simple (like the "Chee Burger") or are craving an amazing olive burger (the Olive You, Man) or something more adventurous like the Scorchin' Squatch (with ghost jack cheese, ghost pepper sauce and hot Cheetos), you won't regret eating here. They are also cool with making a burger with whatever topping combo you prefer. For sides, the fries are great, but their Fried Brussel Sprouts, with maple bourbon Dijon, pumpkin seeds and feta, are about the best in GR. My kids have each brought their friends to eat here and they all beg me to take them here for burgers. They don't have to beg very hard since I am always down to eat here too.

It was a little difficult to find this place at first. The sign is a little small. But once we found it, we went in. They have tables that you can sort at so we ate in. I ended up getting the YeeHaw Yeti burger and my wife got the Olive You Man burger. I will say that this is a little more expensive than I thought it would be. But the food was worth it. Wife said her's was one of the best olive burgers she's had. Mine was excellent as well. These were one of the juiciest burgers I've had. And they made them really fast. The fries were great to boot. Wife also got the Brussel sprouts and loved them. Service was friendly. They also have a burger, fries, and drink for lunch for $12. Wish I worked on this side of town.

    Best burger joint in town.

Great burgers. Best I have had. Visiting from Ca, we have some great burgers back home, but these burgers are in a league of their own. Fries seasoning are great Coming back again. Thank you for a great meal.

Olive burger amazing!!! Brussels spouts fantastic too.
    Heidi C.

Food is so fresh and flavorful. The burgers are cooked perfectly and spiced well, but not too much to over flavor the meat. Service is fantastic. Watching them make to order our food was refreshing to see all the fresh ingredients.

The french fries are excellent! Burger mix with bacon different, toppings sloppy, raw bun. Be prepared to wait for getting your order out.

My kids loved it, the hubby loved it, I loved it. 5/5. The staff were friendly and the milk shakes were on point. Mine was spiked and it made me happy all day. That chicken sando though. Wow. Perfectly balanced with a carrot slaw and just a touch of chili oil to get a sizzle all held together with a decadent brioche bun. Voila! So delicious! I had a bite of hubby's burger and it was melt in your mouth awesome. I secretly love it when a restaurant has a small menu. I always hope it means they do a few things really well. Nonla lived up to all my expectations. Fast, but leisurely in the inviting diner atmosphere. The kids enjoyed asking me for $$ to play the games. Luckily, they were all winners. Hubby says this is his top 5 place and we will have to come back again soon! He also implored me to write an unequivocal 5 star review... a rare request from his mouth. Thanks Nonla!

The menu is concise and they do these classics well. They also have a daily milkshake and weekly food features. I still need to visit for their Sunday brunch! I've now been to the GR location many times and really appreciate how dialed in they've gotten over the years. You can order at the counter to go or get table service. The space is large and bright and good for groups. On my most recent visit, I was trying to decide between a burger and a chicken sandwich, and realized I'd never had the BBQ chicken club, which is listed as a grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. Our server told me that people like it if they are looking for something without fried chicken... but I really wanted fried chicken. So I asked if I could do that with fried chicken instead and she said absolutely! Their menu is super customizable, which is great to know. Our food came out quickly and I was impressed with the presentation of the sandwich. I like that they wrap it in paper which makes it easier to eat. It was a little messy towards the end with the BBQ sauce and mayo, but it was delicious and totally worth it. The veggies were fresh, the chicken was juicy, and the bacon was crispy... I'm thinking this might be my new go-to! Their burgers and other chicken sandwiches are also delicious. They have a full bar and fun cocktails, and happy hour Tuesday-Friday! Parking in the area is always a bit of a challenge, especially with continued construction nearby, but there are metered spots and some paid lots within walking distance.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. I dined at TOG today for a business lunch and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing…read more At the end of our meal, I asked for a to-go box because I had barely touched my food. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.
