My MIL and I stopped here for a coffee and refresher before some more travel. We left with six delicious fresh doughnuts and a hot coffee. There was a variety to choose from at the time we came in- I know some bakeries who are out of stock by Noon. We visited around 1100. Outdoor sign says open 0500 AM -0430 PM. Some regulars were in their corner having their morning doughnuts and coffee. Clean restrooms. Kind staff. Glad to support a local business. Look out for the word " Doughnuts "!

I was leaving Grand Rapids to head to my friends surprise bday party in Chicago and thought to myself - cake is overrated I should bring donuts! I searched donut places that were on the way and this bakery popped up. Back in Cincinnati we have a donut shop everyone loves to go to so while in Grand Rapids I thought it would be better to get a unique spot instead of Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. When you walk in it has a normal bakery feel with the donuts on display. The variety of donuts isn't anything special but they have all the necessities. Not only that the prices were way better than what I would have predicted ! Only $11 for a dozen donuts! It is very hard to select 12 donuts. The price is definitely better than Marge's Donut Den which I also went to to try out both. These donuts tasted absolute amazing! I wish they had a red velvet donut but the other choices definitely made up for it! Great bakery!

I get donuts from all over, and these are the best. I love these. They are nice and light, but have a slight crisp on the outside!

I went in looked at a few items The lady at the front was on top of things She greeted me as I came in the door and asked what I was looking for I was looking for nothing in specific I ended up grabbing two macaroons A cupcake and what I thought was a frozen white chocolate coffee. The building was incredibly crowded and incredibly loud parking was pretty limited except for the parking lot across the street in order to actually sit comfortably or do anything here you would have to bring headphones that have noise canceling Even after a big family left it was still incredibly loud and pretty cramped. The frosting immediately fell off the cupcake as soon as I walked out the door I thought that maybe I tilted it but it looks like it just ran down the side when I went to take a sip of my frappuccino I noticed that there was no white chocolate taste whatsoever and the three shots of espresso covered up any flavor possible All in all I don't know that I'd go back here again it was pretty affordable and if you want to bang for your buck it would be okay. If you need somewhere to study or to work that's quiet and peaceful and you don't want a lot of distractions this wouldn't be the place for you.

Honestly, I am not a huge sandwich person, but if I heard a sandwich shop is good, I'll try it. The sandwich was cut in half and had their Michigan Turkey, bacon, avocado, and other veggies that you can read in their menu. The turkey was really delicious - like, really, REALLY delicious. It was so flavorful and soft. And the veggies like avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce tasted so fresh. I got it with sourdough bread, which was really good. It was a bit tough to put the whole sandwich in your mouth because of the crusty crusts (lol), so I just resorted to eating it with a fork and a knife (very proper). The food came out rather quickly, and the service was very sweet, friendly and down to earth. Ambience was great! Casual and friendly. There is street parking - usually, it's not too difficult to find parking around this area. But maybe I just get lucky, I don't know. If it's a good day, you can walk around and enjoy the scene with the river and park!
