I have now been here twice now for lunch take out. I had the deluxe sub with Mayo instead of marinara sauce and light green peppers. Excellent both times. Also had the chicken strips basket. A ton of food in that one with the fries. Really nice. Not greasy. Had a small order of onion rings and those were delicious. Nice batter and a great addition to my sub that time. The last thing I will talk about are the deep fried mushrooms. A different kind of batter than I'm used to. Almost a dry crumb batter. Even though it was different than I'm used to, they were VERY good. I love my mushrooms for sure. Reasonably priced. Last order was a 6 inch sub and the mushrooms for $11 and some change. Now that I work on that side of town again, I will be back to try a few other items and more mushrooms of course. read more

PJs has been such a great place to get lunch since I've been working nearby for the last couple of years and they have never gotten an order of mine wrong. The people who work there are kind and quick. There was a bit of growing pains when the new online ordering system came into effect, but they've gotten that mostly ironed out now. This place has bizarre hours. We've made the decision to no longer even attempt PJ's because they don't open until after 4pm on a Saturday! Can't get the kids ice cream at 2:30 in the afternoon on the weekend?!? Whose bright idea was that? Okay...there are other places we can go to do that. So we will. The pizza and ice cream are both pretty decent--if you can find a time to get there when they're open. Be warned: they close shockingly early, too. Visited PJ's today for the first time. Ordered a burger with everything, chip and a fountain drink for $4.99!!! What an Amazing burger. Tasted delicious because they prepared the hamburgers from scratch, premium pickles, lettuce and bun. Great Lakes sea salt chips were great, too. Super nice employee that helped me with my order. Mint chocolate chip ice cream for a dessert treat. I will definitely give them my business and will tell all my friends about this GEM. Next time, I'll order a pizza. read more

The pizza is pretty great, but the other menu items should not be overlooked. The sub options are great - including the varying size options. Knotty bread is a great side and fun change from traditional breadsticks, and we love their wing sauce options. But, yes, pizza...it's very good, never skimpy on the toppings, and their largest size is fantastic for a group of hungry people. Nice customer app available to earn rewards. Good ice cream options. This was my first time here, I had seen it before but this was my first stop. I had a slice of the Chipotle Chicken gourmet pie and it was excellent. I also got a chili cheese hog. It was pretty good, I don't think chili was homemade and that is a slight letdown. It was less than 7.00 dollars for all that with chips and an Arizona tea. This place is a gem! Delicious subs and solid pizza. The salads are also fresh and tasty, and the ice cream they have is so good- Ashby's. We order delivery from here probably like once a month, and it's always consistent and good. I've yet to try the Nutella knots, but I'm going to try them someday when we have people over to eat them with us. read more

As a fan of pizza and everything that can come on a pie, PJ's has become my go to place for pizza. I have had all of the chain varieties and really only go for the individual local mom & pop pizza places now. Let's just say that Pizza Hut is not on my radar. If you haven't tried PJ's, you really should make the effort to go over there and talk to the owners. They are always there so you know they have a vested interest in the business. Also just a quick note of full disclosure, my wife and I have had at least one pizza from there at least once every two weeks. This is on the low side. They also know me by my first name now, and they may even be able to distinguish my voice on the phone. Anyway, the straight up pizza is a great choice. They offer all the standard toppings as well as a good selection of "gourmet" toppings as well. If your unsure of the gourmet selections there is always the Chicken Chipotle or California with Chicken. There are a few different styles of crust: pan, deep dish, wafer thin, "godfather" square. We usually get a large pan, eat half for dinner, and keep the rest for cold pizza later. They also offer a good selection of subs and salads as well. I have only had the Italian Sub but is was great. STAFF: staff tonight was kind, had my order ready as promised on time. FOOD: overall the pizza is ok at best, actually pretty mediocre. I had heard so many great things about this place and after eating here several times tasting different items from the menu, it's nothing special, I have had much better. Personal Margarita Pizza ($5.99) - very small pizza (which I expected being a "personal" size, crust was thin (as described on the menu), but crust was not crisp but VERY soggy, I couldn't even hold the slice without it flopping completely in half, I HATE soggy crust! this was yucky crust. The topping (tomatoes, mozzarella, sauce, basil) all tasted fine but WAY OVERPRICED. Small Buffalo Chicken Pizza ($9.99) - small pizza, smaller than I expected. crust was thinner, not really crisp. Toppings all tasted fine (cheese, chicken, buffalo sauce and buffalo swirl). It was ok but OVERPRICED. Large Pepperoni Pizza ($12.88) - alright sized, not to greasy, crust was better on this one, not too thick so didn't sag so much. Topping was typical pepperoni taste. Would I eat here again, probably not. They are overpriced for the size & quality. read more

They are way over-priced for an average-tasting pizza. My son and husband ordered a 14" non-dairy margarita pizza was $27, and I didn't have it delivered! I was going to order a cauliflower crust pizza, but just the pizza with nothing on it was $14.99. Then they tack on $1 or more for every topping. I opted to make a sandwich at home. Oh, and they also charged me $1.50 "convenience fee," I'm assuming for placing the order online, although I didn't see anything about that on the order page. WTF? If PJs is going to sell $.99 slices of pizza, at least make them a good size portion AND keep it warm enough to still taste fresh! The taste was good, but not enough for the cost.
