The pizzas are good, but the salads are amazing! Very fresh ingredients. And large, too.

Probably best pizza I've had anywhere!! Owners are fantastic people too! Burritos are awesome, as well.

A friend recommended Judd's so we decided to take a drive down to Wayland and check it out. First,…read morethanks to my friend for the great recommendation! I looked up Judd's online before making the approximate 30 minute drive and was surprised to see they took reservations. Never knowing how busy they might be, I made one and was glad I did because when I arrived, there was only one table available besides the one I reserved. We were promptly shown to our table and greeted by our server Aubree. I would describe the menu as bar food on steroids. A full list of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and a few "main course" items are on the menu. It was also $3.00 margarita night (and they were quite good!) We were in the mood for burgers so that's what we ordered. We both ordered burgers and upgraded to the hand cut fries. Both were excellent. We both ordered medium rare. They were cooked perfectly and tasted great. When we go to a new place, we always look around to see what others are eating. We saw a pretty good cross section of the menu all of which looked good. I asked about the hand breaded chicken tenders. Rather than tell me, Aubree brought both of us a sample. They are a real possibility when we come again. (or maybe one of us will order bluegill, and the other a "Mother Clucker" which are chicken tenders and share). I need to devote a paragraph to our server Aubree. The restaurant was packed and she took care of each table like they were her only customer. Her service was so north of outstanding I think I'd go back even if the food wasn't so good. Another great find!!!

I went to the waitress station to ask when our food would be out, three waitress were chatting away, she said "pretty soon" then went back to talking. when the food arrive is was warm, not hot, the chicken tenders were dark, like dirty oil, and was soaked in grease it was not eatable. we used to eat here once a week, need to find a new place. I did notice their appears to be a complete staff turnover, they are not the people that should be serving the public

This spot was so fun!!…read more We stopped on a random weekday afternoon while passing through town. They have PIZZA FLIGHTS - this idea is absolutely genius!! You can pick up to four different pizzas that come out as one big pie! I LOVE unique pizza and always have a hard time choosing which one to try - this idea is just the absolute best!! My husband and I both chose 2 pizzas to have included in our flight - everyone wins!! :) We chose Aloha BBQ, Brickhouse Bee Sting, Curse of the Goat, and Brotherly Love. We also requested a side of ranch! They have delicious ranch! Every pizza was so tasty and we loved every single bite!! The beer choices are also great!! My husband and I both enjoyed our selections and they paired so nicely with the pizza!! My Husband chose Fog Out, a New England IPA. I ordered the Pour of 84, a Pilsner and ode to the 84 Detroit Tigers! So cool!! They have a super cute outdoor eating space! Several 2 seaters up on their cute wrap around porch and then many more picnic style tables out in their side yard! Perfect for a lakeshore restaurant experience! This place is truly so fun! Definitely worth checking out!!

With the lack of good pizza options in the area, I found this place on Apple Maps and thought I'd…read moregive it a try. It is, in fact, a tiny "general store" that is inconspicuous and easily missed. It sits right on a two-lane coastal "highway," barely 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, but would just as likely be found in some backwater Alabama swamp (not an insult, just an ambience). They have a small deli in the back and the young unassuming young guy making pizzas and other baked goods. He seemed nice, albeit so what suspicious. There was also a quintessential old farmer-type playing lottery scratch-offs by scratching off the barcode without actually playing the game on the front, then communicating with the cashier woman on a first name basis (Sarah). What a weird experience. I'm always interested in the colorful characters these tiny little towns and their stores. The pizza? Some of the best I've found south of Holland. The sauce had a hint of sweetness, and the crust had a couple of semi burnt bubbles that added to the delicious crunch of the crust. The taste may not be worthy of a five, but certainly a Midwest tiny-town-in-the-middle-of-nowhere five, and certainly worth a visit for pizza, miscellaneous baked goods... or beer, wine, and lottery.
