Wow! This place has sure changed in the past 20 years. They have a great outdoor seating area that is two stories. It was a sunny day so I enjoyed my slice and soda outside today. The staff were friendly and helped me navigate the menu. I think the best and most cost effective option is the pizza by the slice for under $4. Tasted great! Hot and fresh with a crispy crust. DJ's is a great option for a casual pizza place with a family friendly sports bar kind of vibe. We thought their 10 inch pizza was the perfect size for two, but also love that they sell pizza by the slice! (And it's super reasonably priced- we also heard they have a lunch combo for a slice of pizza and a pop!) We had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and asked for it well done- the crust was moderately crispy, we would've probably liked a little bit crispier, but overall, it was really good! The cheese stix were also great, and I loved their ranch (which is a deciding factor for me ) We sat outside and service was a little slow at times, but it was a Saturday afternoon and we had no where to be, so it was alright. I am quite disappointed, not in the quality of the food, but how they stage us in line. I wanted to order pizza for pick up and would have to wait 1.5 hours the same as delivery with an up charge included if I chose delivery, but if I were to dine in? I would get my food much faster? I'm not taking up space so they can fill their table and I'm just driving in to pick up my food and go! I was told that they prioritize and let dining in people cut in line whether they got their 10 minutes after you placed your order or 20 minutes after! That's crap! Take note DJ's! That's not how you treat your customers. any customer willing to drive in and pick up their food and take it home to their family is just as important to somebody. Who's dining in. They're giving you a chance to fill another table and make more money because we are doing the waiter work and we are doing the driving. there's no tip in that either! I have had high reviews for DJ's up until I was told how we were ranked. I have eaten in many times after a softball game in the outside Terrace and we have occasionally eaten inside. I've been here several times, just keep forgetting to review it! I come here with my boyfriend as our Friday night pizza date spot. There's so much parking, there's no reason you would have to park far at all since it's in a strip mall type place. Plenty of seating indoors at high and low top tables. There's bar seating, and I am most excited to come in the summer to enjoy their nice outdoor seating! This place has never disappointed! It is consistently one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. Keep in mind, we order almost the same thing every single time we go, but still, it's always good. And the prices are good too! The most we ever spend with an XL pizza, breadsticks, and drinks is like $45 The staff is always friendly and fairly prompt even when it's pretty busy. This is a real "no frills" pizza joint. It's not decorated, for example, like many other places that bend over backward trying to pass themselves off as a piece of "the old country." It's basically a smallish sports bar/pizza shop/take-out joint in a strip mall. They offer other things besides pizza, but pizza is their claim to fame. This is a good thing because as far as pizza and pizza-like items (crack stix, garlic cheese bread, etc.) they do a pretty good job. They have a lot of different pizza choices and a really decent "build your own" section with lots of options (including a good cauliflower crust option for the keto crowd). As far as the non-pizza selections we haven't tried a whole lot. My buddy and I tried the traditional chicken wings and found them just ok. I haven't tried the subs but the ones I've seen come out of the kitchen looked pretty good. They have a full bar and decent prices for what you get. Overall a pretty good place to grab something to eat and a drink. The only frustrating drawback so far has been their inconsistent hours. We have been there on a Sunday night a few times now. Their hours say they close at 10:00, but if there aren't a lot of people in the restaurant they starting putting chairs up, sweeping, and making you feel super awkward while sort of giving you the "bum's rush" out of there. Kind of rude in my opinion. It's happened more than once. They should maybe consider changing their hours to 9:00 or 8:00 on Sunday and save their employees and customers the aggravation. The bottom line: D.J.'s is a good pizza shop, and a modest sized but good bar, but they need to either honor their posted hours or change them. read more

My sister order the spinach salad that was supposed to have chicken but didn't. $10 for a bowl of spinach with bacon, red onion, and cheap bacon, absolutely ridiculous. The "server" we had was incredibly rude. He told us "he was too busy" to take our order and was upset when we did order at the register. We then sat and waited for the check that never came. We got up to ask for it at the counter considering the "server" was no where to be found. Then he yelled at us from across the restaurant that we needed pay. This was a second stop for my friends birthday bash. I really loved the atmosphere and chose to sit on the patio. Our server Hailey was prompt and courteous, even offered suggestions for my friend who wanted a vodka drink. I stuck with Jack and coke and my boyfriend got a tall Two Hearted Ale. Mixed drinks were in pint glasses (my favorite) and the tall ale came in a proper sturdy frosted glass mug, full to the top with no foam. We ate dinner at a different location, but I so wished I would have saved my appetite for this place instead. I did end up ordering some cinnamon sticks as a dessert, which were delicious. They were hot and fresh, covered in icing and butter on every piece. As the sun went down, they lit the fireplace on the patio which added a nice aesthetic and fun atmosphere.
