I just bought a 12 piece family meal from this location 7/11/26 5;30pm drive thru. The worst KFC I've ever had by far. The chicken was super dry, the biscuits were hard as a rock. The fries were cold!! They also forgot a 6 piece chicken strip I ordered and had to go back around and get them. This location in Jenison is sadly not worth going to. Went to Jessen KFC for the first time in many months. We have been utilizing the KFC on Michigan due to my son's cancer treatments. Michigan Avenue KFC had excellent service and were more than efficient. Even on to go orders. When entering the Jenison KFCThere were five employees presents one who serviced me after waiting for a bit. When receiving my order and getting it home, my order was incorrect. When picking up the order, I was pretty much tossed my nuggets because Tyler the manager was upset because I accuse them of incompetence. I'm pretty much told me to leave. When I asked about the issue, he was angry because of this accusation. I didn't say they were incompetent. He just didn't get my order correct. When asking who I should contact he was pretty much belligerent in saying can he'll be here on Tuesday. I won't be servicing KFC in Jenison again. read more

Went to this KFC around 1:20pm today 3/27/2024 and went through the drive thru. we got to the window and I asked the lady who was working, while we were paying, for some BBQ sauce and she completely ignored and slammed the drive thru window, when she handed us our food I asked again loudly and she slammed the drive thru window AGAIN, so I had to go inside to ask and i asked the Man who was working with her for bbq and she butted in and said "sorry did I miss something" in a very disrespectful sarcastic way, you could tell by her voice and how she was coming off she was looking for issues. Never coming back to this location long as she is there Because It seemed like she wanted problems and no customer wants to go somewhere where workers are looking for an issue when all they want is the food they paid for Especially when all I asked for was a BBQ sauce. read more

I stopped by here on a long road trip from Michigan. I ordered two of the mini southern hot chicken sandwiches. The drive through was quick and the employee taking my order was super friendly. The chicken sandwiches were 2 for $3 and was plenty of food. The southern style hot chicken sandwich was not as spicy as I expected but still tasty. Manager was awful. We waited in a long line in the drive through since the lobby is not open. Pulled away from window to find items missing. Called and asked if they would run out the missing items. Manager said no. We'd have to wait again in the drive through behind 6 cars while our food grew cold. Said she couldn't have someone run out to us, but as we sat in line, two employees had time to run garbage out to the bin - two people. Cold food, rude, overcooked brown fries.... The manager in black shirt had no mask on, the window worker had the mask on their chin below their mouth even, and my meal was missing a chicken leg and the chicken was not crispy like normal and was soggy. This has to be the cleanest KFC I have ever been in. The store manager waited on me and was totally committed to my dining experience. His crew was working like a well oiled machine. The customers were all greeted upon arrival and checked on during their stay. This was a truly excellent dining experiance, something you very seldom get in fast food these days. This kfc is the worst! The owner of this location, Mr. Tim Fitzpatrick should FIRE ALL MANAGEMENT that works there and hire new ones!!! I went through the drive through for lunch break from work today and ordered a "Famous Bowl." When I got back to work I started to eat and bit into a bite of mashed potatoes and chicken that was so cold, it may have been frozen still... So I kept my receipt, didn't eat my food, threw it in the trash, (Obviously) and when I got out of work 2 hours later, I called the KFC Store where I got the crappy food, and spoke with a woman manager. aI told her my situation and told her I still have my receipt, she said she can't do anything about it unless I bring the receipt ANDDDD THE FOOD BACK!!!!???? And she said that's our policy. I then asked to speak with someone above her or a number for corporate, she said, "no one here is above me." So I said, "Oh really? Not even the owner Tim Fitzpatrick?" She then hung up on me. I tried to call right back about 4 times and she just let the phone ring without answering it. So i will NEVER eat at this KFC location ever again, and I have a local blog with over 12,000 local Grand Rapids, Jenison, Wyoming, Grandville, Residents as followers. I'm going to share this story, the store location, the name of the woman manager who I talked to, and the owner Tim Fitzpatricks Name on my Blog. I guarantee I can get a few thousand people to boycott this particular KFC location... I'm also in local Politics, and think i may take this even further because I have never been talked to, treated, or full out screwed over by a fast food place like this before...
