I've been to this location a few times now for lunch and it's usually pretty good. Service at the host stand is really slow but once you get seated the server is usually pretty quick. We had the nicest waitress during lunch today. (Wish I remembered her name to shout her out! haha) She was SO friendly and checked on us the perfect amount of times. Efficient with the bill. We came with the pick 6 deal in mind and she actually recommended it to us from the start as well which was a plus! For the pick 6 you can get 2 entrees, 2 sides, and 2 pops for $19.99. Seriously a great deal. I got the burger and fries and my friend got boneless wings and fries. The burger was honestly really good. It was my first time ever getting something different from wings at bdubs and it did exceed my expectations! read more

It wasn't busy when we got there just after 5 on a Monday. Coworkers got boneless chicken wings and I got a burger. They never said how the chicken was, but the burger was good. Loved the fries! We took dessert to go and it was amazing! My only wish is that the waitress would have offered drink refills. But it was good! read more

The negatives were I put us on open table waitlist which we use for seating when we go out with our boys since young kids don't have a long attention span; I got the texts and everything like normal but when we got there the hostess said we don't use that or take any reservations. So they need to take themselves off the app. And then the men's bathroom has the diaper changing sticker on the doors but the changing stain was missing from the wall. (Wife was there so she ended up taking them as the station was still present in the women's bathroom) . No kids menu/crayons which I swear other bdubs I've gone to always carry. So not the best start but our server was fabulous, fantastic (I had gotten her name from receipt but lost it), taller girl with glasses and blonde hair I believe in the section next to bar. She offered color pens for our boys to use: we declined but very kind; and she checked in regularly and was prompt for our needs. The food came fairly quick too and everything was very tasty! If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered online at 6:25, was told 6:50 pick up and got my confirmation number and they charged my card. I go in at 6:55 and they tell me they never got an online order from me and that it apparently has been happening a lot. They do not apologize or anything and just say they will put my order in and I can sit and wait and it should be about 10mins because they will prioritize my order. I then sit there until 7:30... an hour after my original order was placed and 20mins after the 10min wait period. I get the order at 7:30 and they again don't apologize. I go to my car and check my order, they got my order partially wrong and the wings all appear to have basically no sauce and look to be dry rubbed because of how little sauce they put on it.. and they were cold. There's really only two types of establishments we like: dive bars and fine dining. I can't remember the last time I set foot in a fast food joint. Maybe 25 years? Anyway, Buffalo Wild Wings is my guilty pleasure. I love chicken wings and for some reason I've become partial to these wings. Don't get me wrong, I've had better wings in lots of places, but BW3 is consistent and available all over which is great for traveling. Incidentally, when I say "wings" I mean traditional wings with bones-in, like God intended wings to be. I've never tried their boneless wings (and never will). I've been going to this particular location for over ten years and I love it and the staff. After trying lots of BW3's in a lot of places I've learned that they're not all the same. They source their product from different places and cook them differently. This location has great wings and they do them up right (and my particular order is somewhat complicated). I think the only better quality BW3 wings I've had were in Syracuse, New York. Anyway, if you're in the market for wings and you like BW3, this location has excellent quality and service. Ask for Cassie or Zee, they are fenomenal (but most servers here are great). The only thing I don't like about this location is the bad habit a few managers have of not seating customers when the kitchen gets backed up. Customers are forced to loiter about in the small foyer staring at empty tables and getting super frustrated. It would probably make more sense to alert customers that the kitchen is backed up, that orders might take a long while but then let people sit and order beer or whatever else if they want. That way the customers get seated and can get started with a few drinks or at least relax comfortably while the restaurant still makes money. Everyone wins. I get it that if customers come in with children that the kids might get antsy but again, with a proper disclosure and fair warning the customers will understand. They just recently remodeled the whole inside and made it more like some of the newer BW3's. It took some getting used to but its really nice and a great place to watch the big game. The bottom line: if you like wings and if you're a fan of BW3, this is a great location with great staff. read more

I've been to this Buffalo Wild Wings a handful of times, and they always have terrible service. Yes, it is a busy place, and I understand that they are busy and it slows things down, but maybe account for that. This last time I went, it took over 20 mins for someone to come greet us at our table to take a drink order. Our friends only got their appetizer and 1 meal brought out, and then 20 mins later, the other meal came out with an excuse that it got missed. However, they didn't actually make the sandwich the way it was ordered. Our food was good - typical for boneless wings, traditional wings, and potato wedges... just as you'd expect. We waited almost two hours for the table In the end I walked to font decks. Trying to see how far my seats next. They're crossing my name out and putting to the side on the book list. In the whole waiting time I see they're brought many families into the table, but not my. I Found out my waiting list got cutting off and putting to the side of book. I've been coming to this 44th street location for the better part of 5 years, so I think this review is warranted. This is not from just ONE experience at this place, it's from dozens and dozens of times eating here for years. With that said, it's brought me to the point of having to leave this brutally honest review. This location and this one in specific (there are 5 in the greater Grand Rapids area) has progressively gotten worse over the years. EVERY time I've ordered wings, they come out cold. Not only that, the wings are dry and over fried. Doesn't matter if they're busy during lunch rush, dinner or if there's only 2 customers in the entire place, it doesn't matter, food is complete and utter a$$. It's quite infuriating actually. Downtown location? Food is always hot and fresh and wings are juicy. This location?? Never. It's almost like there is zero regulation in the kitchen. Are they pre-frying their wings and then just nuking them in the microwave? Literally what the wings taste like. Dryer than the Sahara desert. It blows my mind people keep coming to this spot, and I was one of those foolish people, but like a bad relationship I have officially cut ties with ever stepping foot in this place again for food (I'd go for beer or to watch sports if anything). Service can't complain about. Friendly staff for the most part. But the wings?? Hands down the worst wings you'll ever have at any bdubs. I'd be willing to put money on that. We came here twice in the past month, and that'll be the last time we go to this specific location. We've ordered take out twice, and both times they failed miserably at getting the order right. If you order to go here, be prepared to have a difficult time. When you place the order online, it'll give you an estimated time. I would add an extra 5 minutes to whatever it gives you. Once you get to the Bdubs area, make sure you don't just sit in their togo area for 5-10 minutes waiting for assistance like the Host will tell you to do, no one will acknowledge you or come by to ask if you have been helped. Call the restaurant and ask someone to come to the to go area once you're actually there. When they give you the order, take note that they don't sign the sticker that says who is responsible for checking that the order was prepared properly. Because it is never right, and they probably don't get paid enough to care that it is right. It is rude to do, but we learned our lesson twice for not doing it, so check that everything is actually there before you leave. They will consistently get your order wrong. We've been short celery, not given sauces, and not given the right amount of wings. The funny thing is, sometimes we actually have 4-5 extra wings, which makes no sense. Also ask for hand wipes, they never give any. Also tipping doesn't matter, because even if you tip well they'll still do a bad job the next time you come in. I work in this industry and have never tipped under 20%, but somehow this place managed to change that mindset. read more

This place has a nice upgrade to the interior, much nicer inside. However, they just can't seem to figure out the host/seating problem. Always a wait, and it's like they are trying to solve a complex math problem after check-in with the seating map. We just stood in entryway for 10 minutes while we could see 4-5 open tables. I do not blame the hostess, she seemed to be working hard, even trying to find menus maybe? It's a management problem at this location, always a joke when we come here. Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat, no body was at the check in & there was a sign propped up on the ground telling guest to "seat yourself". There were a few other couples just standing there not really sure of where to go since it was pretty full & hard to see an open seat. It would of been nice to have a host up front. We sat ourselves at the bar though & I'm so glad we did. Sarah our bartender did a FANTASTIC job waiting on us. Her energy was awesome & she checked on us numerous times. We ordered food right away & shout out to the cooks, the food was delicious! Not to mention the presentation was super clean & well done. I highly recommend the street tacos! We asked for the kids food to come early and that didn't happen. I'm not sure if its the setup of this one or the employees but as far as service goes, I have never had an unattentive server or slow service here! So nice! The food is just like any other b dubs.. I always switch up my wing flavors between teriyaki and Asian zing and most of the time ill get another random flavor to go with them. Also, call me crazy but I like to get the smile fries, sure it looks a bit silly and they actually aren't even on the menu but the potato to crisp on the outside ratio is SO much better than normal fries. Well over an hour later the driver calls and informs me that they hadn't even started the order because they were out of 1 of the 5 selected sauces we chose. Trying to call this place to place a take out order is nearly impossible- may have a better chance calling into the radio station to request a song (do people still do that?). Anyways the past few times we have tried calling - phone rings then picks up to their recording and then you wait.... Then wait.... Then wait so long you almost forgot where you called but the recording will remind you. Have done the online ordering but was told before that there is a super long wait for the kitchen to get that order - so maybe If you think you want wings for dinner - go online around 3pm and place it for your 5pm dinner?
