We discovered this place at the recommendation of someone and also realizing there were restaurants at Tanger Outlet Mall. I can't believe we have not been here before. It's conveniently located within the Outlet Mall, so shop, eat and drink til your hearts content. The place is clean, roomy and alive with activity. There is a full service bar, high top tables and regular tables within the place. It also appeared there is an outdoor seating area, but it was closed for the winter. The waitress and host were friendly and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks and food came out really fast. The food was amazing. The group ordered various things. The nachos are HUGE! We chose beef for the meat but you can also get chicken and I think something else. Come hungry if you order this one. It also came with sour cream and salsa at not up charge. We did add the queso for an additional $2. The chips, toppings were all very fresh. The meat was not greasy and plentiful. The other dishes were a Reuben sandwich and a turkey wrap. I was very surprised to see such low ratings for this pub! We saw the ratings and thought we would give a try anyway. It was definitely a 5 star visit! We were seated right away. Our waitress was very kind and good at her job. We just had water to drink and I appreciated their style of having a big glass container of water filled at your table so you can refill whenever you need to. They were pretty busy but our food came out so fast and the food came out just as fast for everyone around us. We ordered the large southwest salad and the large signature salad. Both were phenomenal! The dressing on both salads were fantastic. The grilled chicken wasn't bland, it was seasoned so well! My boyfriend and I loved our salads and they filled us up for a dinner meal for sure. I will say I definitely think this is one of the best salads I have had. The corn mixture in the southwest salad was so flavorful. The space is very big with several tvs with sports on every tv. It is a laid back, sporty place. They do have bathrooms. This is a hidden gem because it's in the actual Tanger Outlet mall. It is definitely worth a visit! They have a huge beer selection which most definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the Cob Salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious. All fresh veggies, the bacon on the salad was so good! Our server was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the menu! I did not have a burger but my friend who has been there before told me that they have wonderful burgers! Nice clean brewery brew pub located in the Tanger Outlets. All chairs have backs which is always a plus for me. Food is pretty solid. Their pizzas have crust flavors which is a fun twist. We go for trivia nights on Tuesday's which is low pressure fun with gift cards for the top three teams. Service is relatively quick and attentive, but can slow as you stay deep into the trivia game. This is very much a brewery feel! The service was fine. Food was nothing special. We had high hopes for our three menu items we ordered but they fell short. The cheese curds are $13 and they do give you quite a bit but they are extremely salty! They come with ranch and we asked for a side or marinara. The Alfredo 10" pizza was $16 and we asked for no bacon on it. It was very undercooked, mushy, and the chicken was cold and unseasoned. The crust was super thin and the cheese would just fall off. Bone in wings are beer braised and we asked for the Nashville Hot flavor. We were expecting more is a tangy hot sauce but these were definitely a sweet peppery flavor. I went to 5 Lakes Brew Pub with a group of friends for trivia night. The location is super nice- I wandered around Tanger Outlets for a while before the event! The inside is a lot more spacious than I expected, and although it's not patio season anymore, it looked like they had a nice patio area for warmer seasons! The hostess and everyone I interacted with was very nice! Our server was nice enough, and pretty attentive. We had new drinks before our old ones were empty haha. I got the Oddside Bean Flicker. I didn't try any of 5 Lakes actual beers, which is a bit of a bummer, but I can't turn down a Bean Flicker. I also got the fried pickle wraps. They were decent. A tiny bit too salty, and I think it was the meat that was in them. They had the perfect amount of cream cheese and I love the wonton on the outside. Trivia night was also really fun! You joined in on your phone, so no having to run your answers back and forth, which was nice, and if you didn't hear the question, it was up on the TV screen. It's basically the only option at the outlets for table service. We stopped on a Saturday around 1pm. It was very busy. They have a pretty efficient system to wait where you receive text messages. We waited about 20 minutes. The waitress was pretty good but we did wait a bit to place our food order and to pay at the end. Which is acceptable considering the crowd. They had some interesting pizzas and burgers. I really liked the Mac n cheese pizza. The fries were not the best. The inside was very noisy with the football games playing on the speakers. Amazing as usual! This is a great place to catch lunch or dinner after checking out shops or if you want to catch a game with all their TVs. Fun atmosphere but could also serve as a relaxed venue for a date night. No matter when you go there's usually not any trouble getting a table right away and then of course the food selection is pretty great. Though I might venture and try something new but then I got a craving for Buffalo chicken pizza again so I had to give in. The only very little negative that I always bring up so I always look at it is the cleanliness of the bathroom. It's always useable but is in need of a deep clean and wipe down of partitions, urinals and sinks (at least in men's)... But anyway, the restaurant is always fun, delicious and clean. read more

This place is good! Went on a busy night and got sat right away. No issues at all with service, was prompt and fantastic. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I was a bit disappointed that the brussels, which are advertised as having parmesan, they weren't very parmesan-y. The Michigan turkey wrap came recommended as a popular item but didn't come with much turkey on it. Still, we left full. Their beers are good though. They have about 5 of their own brews but then offer a lot of other draft crafts and have a full bar. We both tried a 5 Lakes beer and they were delicious. Located inside the Tanger outlet mall this a great spot to stop in while shopping or head to for a drink and a meal. The space is large and spacious with a sports bar vibe with all the TVs. There are about 30 taps and many cocktails to choose from. The food menu is HUGE and I really enjoyed the sweet heat (jalapeno pineapple relish) of the burger. Both appetizers were good along with the salted cookie platter for dessert. Also, loved the personal touch of the manager walking around to all the tables and chatting it up. We had a terrible experience today at five Lakes brew pub. Our drinks and appetizers we came out quickly. We then waited 45 minutes for our meals. When we talked to a manager and said we think he forgot she said no. He's been here three years he wouldn't forget. They then asked if we wanted it boxed up I said I'm not paying for it. The pub is very modern, sporty, spacey and brightly lit. The staff is friendly, the food is lightening fast. I do not know if I have been anywhere that the food comes out so fast. I mean less than 5 minutes from time we ordered. The appetizer and our main course came out all at once. We got the pizza puffs, they should be evenly tossed in the garlic butter but they were not, 90% of them were bone dry. The food in general is very mid. Burger seemed to be just a pre made patty, and the chicken wrap had very little chicken and a lot of lettuce, tomato and cheese. The paddle fries were probably my favorite.
