I tried the Baja Fish Tacos that were based in Modelo beer battered cod, cabbage slaw, fresh pico, 1/2 fresh lime on the side and an avocado sauce on top. Very flavorful and nice presentation if (3). Served with French fries or beans. I topped this off with the soup of the day which was a generous portion of beef stew and flavored with celery, carrots , steak meat and a bay leaf. Almost to die for. But don't because you can order more! The lady of the house had the Pepperoni and Mozzarella pizza on a perfect pizza dough bread and sauce that was maybe made by mama? The Salt and Pepper Shrimp was great as always. What threw me off today was a line of 40 people waiting outside of the restaurant. For whatever reason, CBK have stopped offering the option of "getting on the list" on the weekends, leaving everyone to queue up outside of the restaurant waiting for their turn. I was confused when I arrived, as I'm used to either being seated right away or having the option to just get back to gaming while I wait for a text. 8/7/26 Afternoon. before 3. Not thrilled today with menu changes again 3rd time. My dad's chicken was under done. The quality of the new fries is just bad. Bring back the other ones. Ordered a smash burger. This burger used to be the pub burger and it came with what ever you wanted on it for the same price. Now it comes with nothing on it and you have to pay extra for condiments. I don't know who's making these changes but this is exactly how to piss your customers off so they don't come back. You make them feel like they are being screwed. When I explained my displeasure to Brandon he asked me if I wanted to see the menu again because I sounded like I did not understand.???!?? The prices keep going up the food quality keeps going down. Are you gonna fix it? If we are gonna get charged $16-18 dollars for a hamburger we should get a little value for our purchase I would think. Add some other choices like lower calorie fare and some protein only sides and appetizers. Don't get me wrong. The waitresses and hostesses are awesome but your new decisions fall way short. Pleasantly full at noon on a Wednesday, I was seated immediately. It's a cool space once you're inside but you can't help but feel you're still on the gaming floor. Visiting from the PNW and was excited to see the new upgrades to the casino, grabbing a bite from CBK yesterday. My husband and I ordered two nitro drafts which took over 20 minutes to receive (Monday mid-afternoon). I ordered the ribeye sandwich with chimichurri and upgraded to onion rings for an extra $4. The steak was cooked fine (medium-medium well), and chimichurri was barely existent. What was most disappointing, though, was realizing I'd just paid $1 per onion ring as there were only 4 on the plate. Our waitress was very kind and the space is open and clean. Food here is okay. The Crab Cakes were a decent size but was more bready than crabby. Soup was extremely salty, so we ended up packing it up and bringing it home to dilute. Nashville hot chicken burger was okay - nothing out of the ordinary, and not spicy. Husband liked his fish tacos, but he said it wasn't anything that was overly amazing. If it hadn't been for their half off all month promotion, we probably would not have tried it. I prefer their cafe/other eateries that they have at Gun Lake. read more

After seeing all the negative reviews, I was pretty hesitant about eating here. But it was surprisingly good! I think you have to accept that it is just a nicer bar food restaurant. It's not fancy. I had the mushroom and sausage flatbread. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Both were good. I wouldn't say they were awesome, but definitely good. The chicken sandwich was no where near hot but a good chicken sandwich. My flatbread was hot, cheesy and flavorful. The beer was good too! We sat outside and caught a breeze. Overall, I would come here again. I am not sure if the negative reviews came from people who had high hopes of some high class dining. I won't name our but it took her almost 20 minutes to get to our table to even order a drink of water or anything. It took even longer to get our appetizer the onion rings were so over fried the onion in the middle was basically gone. We said no salt on the fries not only was salt on the fries, but she brought an extra fry that we didn't order and it. The most that we saw her was when she was giving us our bill and waiting for us to cash out. The actual entrée was good except that I've been up sick all night long from it. My husband and I visited last night. It was about a 45 min wait for a table (not bad) so we played a couple games while we waited. (They send a text when your table is ready) Cons: We did have to wait 20mins before we were even greeted by a server and the only reason we got that server was because I had to go and ask for one. So I was a little Hangry Pros: The restaurant was nice, great atmosphere. Once we got a server he was very nice and apologetic and explained that it was the 2nd day and they are still working out some of their systems. I ended up getting the burger and beer flight, and my husband had the pork sandwich. We also had the philly egg rolls as an appetizer and I must say EVERYTHING was delicious. I was excited to try the new restaurant offerings at Gun Lake Casino. I was a huge fan of the Sandhill Cafe they had previously as it was an unassuming diner-style joint. At CBK, my family ordered the Onion Rings and Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls to start. While these were good, they're insanely pricey for the amount of food you actually get. It was $9 for about 7 pieces of onion rings and $10 for two very small egg rolls that are each cut in half. Again the actual taste is good, but these are so expensive for the amount I don't see myself ever getting these again. Among my family, we got a Wise Men Burger, a Greek Feta Burger, a Nashville Hot Chicken, and the JBOJ Burger. The Wise Men Burger was easily the best burger of these choices. The sauce is very good, but it needed a lot more of it as the burger itself was a tad dry. In fact all the burgers were a little overcooked and all needed more sauce. The Feta Burger needed a lot more feta and tzatziki as it was barely there. The JBOJ was nothing special as well and I don't remember a thing about the jalapeño bacon onion jam involved with that burger. My own actual pick was the Nashville Hot Chicken which is a huge disappointment. The chicken itself is tasty and was still juicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. Like not even a hint of spice. I would be less disappointed if this were simply called a "Chicken Sandwich." I felt bad as the server asked how the food was and if the chicken was spicy. I answered honestly and said "It needed spice." "It could be spicier?" "No, it wasn't spicy at all!" Don't put something called Nashville Hot Chicken on the menu if you aren't actually going to serve hot chicken! The appetizer was the scotch egg which was served cold , maybe that's how it beat my water to the table?? Two days later we had a car rental in Oklahoma show up on our credit card and we didn't rent a car and were never in Oklahoma. I was here Wednesday night and the service and food was the same as the first few times- ok. The beer wall is cool but doesn't change very often and the staff seems confused when you buy a card. (There is a "beer tasting wall" where you serve yourself tastes of beer that are sold by the ounce and deducted from a $20 or $40 prepaid card.) It's a neat feature, but the staff doesn't really explain it- in fact it appears that they don't like it. Anyway....the food: The burgers are good but they ALL have double patties and end up being a mess on your plate. The menu says the fries are hand cut, but they actually are not. This was really disappointing. (I think they may have made this change recently.) I have also had their walleye sandwich, which tasted good, but was all bun because the piece of fish was really small-I felt like I was eating the other half of someone's filet. I've never had a fish sandwich where they didn't give you a whole piece of fish. The fish tacos are good, but were cold and again, TINY. I actually ditched the 3rd tortilla and combined the two, small fish nuggets for an entire taco. Lastly, the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was the worst sandwich I've had there. It's not a bit spicy. The chef has obviously never had Nashville hot chicken, which should burn your mouth with a hint of sugar. The BEST sandwich on their menu is the Italian grinder. Really good and well put together. The beer cheese soup is pretty good, but not very creamy and has freeze dried chives as a garnish, which I find weird. My friends and I have obviously been here a few times and we want to love it, but the place has a weird vibe when it should feel fun. They seem understaffed and the employees seem miserable. After seeing a billboard the other day for this CBK, then looking it up online, I was surprised this option wasn't downtown! A restaurant with 50ish beers on tap and some tasty sounding food options on the south end was sorely needed! My husband and I aren't gamblers but thought we'd go to the casino just to see if CBK was open yet (the grand opening is officially Sept 17) and they were on Sept 10. We chose to sit at the bar, but there was plenty of other seating both inside and out. What I first noticed is how open and light the venue is with floor to ceiling windows. This isn't typical of a restaurant in a casino and to me, it is very appealing. The bar itself is huge and it's fun to look at all the tap handles. The food we had was fantastic. We tried the scotch egg appetizer. It's served cold, which is new to us, but still very good. The condiment options served with it were interesting as well. I chose the burger flight for my meal ($3 off if you also get a 3 beer flight). My husband had the pub burger, both came with fries. All of it was excellent, the burgers weren't over cooked so they were juicy, and the portions were more than adequate. The beers are served at what seems to an an extra cold temperature; something I can definitely get behind. CBK also offers a serve yourself beer wall. I've read about these at venues in other states, but this was my first time seeing one. We didn't try it this time, but next time it would be fun. CBK uses a prepaid card to unlock the taps, as opposed to the wrist bands I've seen in other places. You pay by the ounce, so if you want to try a ton of different beers, here's your chance! Note that you are required to wear a mask inside the casino; once we were seated we took them off. Sure it's a hassle, but there's way less cigarette smoke in the building because of this requirement. read more

Wonderful place to enjoy food and beer. Pleasant atmosphere, great servers and food distinctively different. The onion rings are fabulous, very crunchy outside and tender inside. Fish tacos were unique, the crunchy cabbage is refreshing. Had a glass of Oberon-chilled glass adds to the enjoyment, garnished with a fresh orange slice. To finish up this review, the French Fries are crispy outside, perfectly cooked inside and dusted with a great seasoning blend. My first time at CBK but certainly not my last.
