I have seen this place so many times and see people walk out with tons of food! Parking is easy and right in front or in the plaza lot. It's located right in a strip mall. The restaurant is small and it has the classic pizza shop look. They sell pizza by the slice but also have a full menu of great options. I asked for a slice of pepperoni and they said if I wanted to wait 2 minutes they would pull a fresh slice for me! The customer service was AMAZING! There was three staff members there and they all were so polite and friendly. This place was welcoming even during the lunch rush! They have a ton of unique drink choices too! Literally something for everyone! They also have some desserts made and in the cooler ready to go! Apart from selling pizza they do have a few staple grocery items you can purchase right by the counter. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Greasy but good! The picture looks like the slice is messy but that's my own fault i was given a fresh out of the oven slice and it slid in my car! I've never had the pleasure of going inside and before today I'd never had more than some people's recommendation to try it out. Well my work decided to cater us in some from lunch today and I gotta say, it was pretty dang good. It always helps to have the pizza be hot and fresh but I got an all meat and a deluxe slice and both were very decently sized pieces, the toppings were generous and the flavors were definitely above standard. I'll have to go in sometime in the future and see what the insides like but from just a food perspective this is a worth it bite. read more

This my my fiancé and I'd go to pizza place. Their crust is delicious. The sauce is the perfect amount on each pie, slightly sweet. The BLT with ranch is to die for. Real bacon bits! And large diced tomatoes. You can also get red sauce on it or ranch or both. I also always order the wings. They are fairly large in size, and the home made ranch and blue cheese is delicious. Russo's pizza is a standard neighborhood pizzeria located in a tucked away strip mall. I found it since it is one of the better pizza places in the area on yelp, but was a little disappointed with the actual food itself. Pizza took 30 min for pickup on a Friday night and was ready when I arrived. I ordered a 14 inch sausage and mushroom pizza. The crust had an interesting thickness and was very charred on the bottom. It tasted like a more elevated chain restaurant pizza, but not like standard thin crust. The sausage with very good - I recommend it over the mushrooms. I watched the cooks making the pizzas and they all have a ton of cheese on them! Like a little mountain of cheese on each pie! While that sounds exciting, it does lead to a lot of grease once cooked. I had to mop up the pizza with some napkins just so I didn't feel like a complete glutton. The side salad came with a semi frozen blue cheese dressing cup. Ended up eating the salad without the dressing as it's consistency was suspect (not the frozen part). Prices were reasonable for what you get so give them a shot! read more

Ordered two subs. Worst ever. Bread was totally soggy. As if it was soaked in water. The ham was gross and chewy. As if they found the cheapest crappiest ham they could buy. The lettuce was brown. As if it expired days ago. Didn't put Mayo on it as ordered. Meatball sub was marginal. And had to wait around for them. Took twice as long as they said it would because they didn't even put them in the oven until we got there. Probably because they were soaking the bread in water. Absolutely will not return. I've been telling my coworkers about Russo's for some time. Today we were having our ISO9001 audit and we needed to provide a meal. I called up and ordered a 16 inch pepperoni&mushroom/onions&blackolives. I was told it would be ready at 5:30 so I went a little early. It was ready before 5:30 and the people at the counter were super friendly. Bottom line: the auditor said it was the best pizza he could remember having, all three co-workers said it was super good, and one of my coworkers has been reformed to like black olives. I love this food! If we get pizza we get the Russo special which is loaded with goodness! We usually get 2 12 inch pizzas because it is cheaper than one and we can freeze the extra pizza for another time. We've also had the meat ravioli (my favorite) and the lasagna dinners that come with garlic bread and salad. This place is usually really busy on Friday nights but they don't leave you waiting, if they say a time it will be done it will be done..and hot! Staff is friendly and helpful as well. We ordered the butchers pie and there was lots of meat and good size pieces of sausage not little tiny dots like some places. The crust was good and flexible like NY style. I forgot to order thin crust which my sister and I prefer. We ordered the 14 inch for two people and and 12 inch would have been enough. A 14 inch would feed 3 average eaters. We ordered a pizza from here. We also ordered the cheesesticks and the Tiramisu. Hubbs told me that the sausages was home made, I think for me that was the only highlight on the pizza. If I had to choose one thing from our order, it would probably be the Tiramisu. Even then the,Tiramisu left a little bit of that greasy feeling on the roof of your mouth... The pizza seemed to have no flavor, and not enough sauce. In fact, Hubbs went there the next day to buy an order of extra sauce. After a thwarted visit to see the Art Prize in GR (long story), we were famished. Traveling back towards town we Yelp'd for good pasta somewhere nearby. Russo's came up as solid and inexpensive, and most importantly, closest to where we were. We were relying on the good reviews of fellow Yelppers and were NOT disappointed!! Daughter and I yearned for pasta (we both had their spaghetti). Hers with beef meatballs and mine with sauteed mushrooms. Both were delicious! Came with fresh garlic bread and we ordered side salads. My husband had their stromboli (pictured) the size of a football. All came out piping hot and fresh as can be. They make everything by hand and to order. I could not resist ordering their homemade tiramisu, as they were making it as we came in. The people working there are authentic and friendly and sincerely seem to enjoy what they do. They do not offer fountain drinks, but do have bottles and cans of regular sodas and a variety of other beverages. Also, seating is VERY LIMITED. Two tables, to be exact, so maybe ordering food and taking it to a park will be what we will do next time. The bulk of their business is done on a delivery or pick up service. As skeptical as I initially was to try it as it's off the beaten path and not in a super glamorous location, the food was terrific and look forward to coming again. read more

Overall, a good pie. My only complaint was that towards the middle, the dough got pretty thin so there was a bit of flop to it. This made it a bit messy to eat. However, that kinda thing happens sometimes. Dough probably just got a little too stretched in the middle. No big deal. The sauce is delicious. Well balanced. I miss Mancino's Grinders real bad in the West Michigan area...Subway just isn't cutting it anymore. I tried Russo's today for lunch and I'm still on the hunt. It was good and I'll go back since its close. It needed a bit more sauce for me and for I can get a $6 12 inch sub anywhere, Russo's didn't make it special like I'd expect a local business to do. I'll be back to try the pizza and probably try the FourSquare check in and receive 50% your pizza deal. So stay tuned to see how that goes.
