I gotta say this might be the best Brazilian steakhouse there is in Philly. We came here to celebrate an early Valentine's Day for dinner, made reservations and were seated immediately. They offer valet but there's a parking lot that we parked at downstairs of Macy's which is literally right next door. Fogo is so nicely decorated and pretty fancy. We did the regular steak dinner option and it was about $65 per person which is not bad at all and totally worth it. They offer a whole salad bar option in the middle of the restaurant where you go up and pick whatever you like. Servers walk around with meats and cut it for you and put it on your plate. My favorite was definitely the lamb and the garlic sirloin. Love this spot and I highly recommend coming here if you haven't!

Wow wow wow ! This weekend was my first time at FOGO / Brazilian steak house and it was a memorable experience. I'm surprised as a foodie it took me this long to jump on the bandwagon. I treated my friend for her birthday and she suggested FOGO. We were already going to be in Philly and luckily this place was close to where we already had made plans. It was not too busy or packed on a Saturday night which made the service ( offerings of the meats ) very quick. We actually had to turn our card over often because of how fast the servers were coming. After the first 2 rounds I found my favorite items and was able to pass on the ones I didn't enjoy. I recommend trying everything and expanding your palate. My favorite item of the night was probably the friend cheese. I'm not a cheese person but it was delicious ! Our drinks were delicious and strong- we both ordered different flavor Caipirinhas. The birth girl received a complimentary dessert and she chose the creme brulee. It was good. We left stuffed !!! All in all I can't wait to try different branch locations.

There is a variety of salads and sides from the cold bar. The full experience is really nice. Shoulder can ask your server for a specific meat. Lamb chops fly fast. Went for a birthday dinner and we were satisfied

Lmao I told you. We treat this like vacation.

It's ridiculous how much we love this place. It's your birthday? Let's go to Fogo. Got a promotion? Gotta go to Fogo. Your mom died? My condolences. She'd want you to go to Fogo. It's a random Tuesday and I'm breathing - Fogo! Get the most out of your experience: -parking will be the toughest thing. I can usually find street parking. If not, there's a garage under one of the buildings around the corner. Of course then you're gonna pay like $100 between food and parking so again, street parking is your friend. -sign up for the Gaucho club. You get bday coupons, miss you coupons, we love you coupons. -go for brunch. No really Go. For. Brunch. Waffles. French toast. Beef rib. A combo made in heaven. -Skip the shrimp that comes around. It's extra and more importantly, We got shrimp at home! -Request the beef rib as soon as you sit down. My bestie be pulling them to the side at the hostess table to ask for it before we even sit down smh. So greedy lmao. -I do love their cocktails. Alcohol good, cheese rolls bad. Those are a distraction. They fill you up on mid. -I start and end with a salad. Mind ya business. -the candied bacon is an appetizer, a palate cleanser, and dessert and I eat it as such.

Loved the lower price of lunch with the same fantastic salad bar, soups, etc. - and all the fine meats you can eat. Great building and ambience and the servers were wonderful. I highly recommend.

First time at Fogo de Chao for me but my son has been to one at a Chicago location before. It seems many of the restaurants here in Philly were former banks. The decor has that old school vibe with the stunning high ceilings and chandeliers. We were warmly greeted. I appreciate the host going over what our price per person includes. Make sure you inquire about the pricing which can change depending on the time of day. Those pillowy Cheese Bread (like mini popovers) that they give you as soon as you sit down were dangerous. I stuffed 5 in a row into my mouth before I even hit the market table. "Hit Me, Baby, One More Time" by Britney Spears came to mind. Good Lord, I couldn't stop myself. Our favorite cut of meat was the Picanha. Two versions of it came to our table and those were my faves hands down. Some of the other meats like chicken and pork chop were a bit dry. They also gave us homemade hot mashed potatoes, plantains and polenta fries straight from the kitchen. I'm not a huge meat eater so I appreciate the selections at the Brazilian Market Table. I thought the sweet juicy watermelon slices with feta cheese & papaya was a good way to cleanse all that fattiness. I can't help but notice how gorgeous their silverware were. It was ornate and it had some serious weight to them. My son said it's probably to slow you down when you're eating the meats. Lol. Service was 10/10. The hostess came by with the dessert menu to let us choose whatever we wanted as a complimentary birthday treat, which was about $13. We left a nice tip.

Food was insane. Did the indulgent option that includes lobster and everything was so well prepared. Servers walking around were friendly and funny. Salad bar was also very nice.

The first impression was not especially auspicious. The restaurant is tucked away in the basement beneath a building on Walnut Street in Philadelphia, and at first glance the menu prices gave me pause. But from the very first bite, every doubt completely disappeared. The sushi was absolutely extraordinary -- some of the best I have ever had anywhere. I ordered the 9-piece tasting menu with uni for $68, and every single piece of nigiri was exquisite. The fish practically melted in my mouth, with outstanding freshness, texture, and flavor. Each bite felt carefully crafted and perfectly balanced. The service was equally impressive. The staff was warm, cheerful, attentive, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and relaxed. I arrived toward the end of the evening, so the restaurant was pleasantly quiet, which made the meal even more enjoyable. This was truly a memorable dining experience. Every course was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates outstanding sushi. My only regret is that it is so far from where I live, because otherwise I would return again and again.

We ordered salads, steak, pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn, and a bottle of overpriced Caymus wine. Hubby liked his pork chops, my filet was ok. The sides were delish!!! They also were very kind in offering us a comp dessert for our anniversary which we got to pick. Typically restaurants just bring out whatever dessert they want so I appreciated that we got to choose. We chose a vanilla Carmel cake. It was good but we were also so stuffed! Minus 2 stars - as the end of the night, our server disappeared & when he did reappear, I could never get his attention to get the bill. I flagged someone else down but they just shrugged. It took me putting my jacket on (& 20 extra mins) to get Lawrence's attention. Also, it was close to the end of the night as we were wrapping up - maybe 9:30ish. There were still PLENTY of guests eating dinner, and the workers started breaking down tables in our section, moving things around, replacing large tables for smaller ones, etc. We're trying to have a nice (expensive!) dinner & workers are cleaning up around us. What a buzz kill. Remember I was the one trying to GET my servers attention - trust me we didn't overstay. Honestly, eh - I wouldn't recommend.

On a whim, I called Butcher Bar and told them I know it's last minute on a Saturday night, but could they accommodate 9 people. They told me if we were there in 30 minutes they could make it work, so we rushed over. We sat at the bar for drinks as they cleaned up a table. They overheard us talking about how The Trough would be nice (feeds 8 for $300, but was more than enough for us 9), and said if we wanted that they could get it started as the table was prepared. We said yes, and were sat a few minutes later with drinks in hand. Jenna (Gema? She had grape earrings) was a fantastic server and just so kind and attentive. She kept the drinks flowing and The Trough arrived sooner than I expected and was everything I wanted for dinner and more. I can't thank Butcher Bar enough for saving the night for my 40th and just providing a fantastic experience. We'll be back, and we promise to give more notice next time! :)

The space is breathtaking--soaring 38-foot sculpted ceilings and a 34-foot wine tower at the center of the bar create a truly luxurious and unforgettable ambiance. The hospitality is just as impressive as the setting. Every member of the staff was professional and attentive, and the managers checked on us throughout the meal to ensure everything was perfect. Our waitress, Ayoola, was exceptional--warm, personable, and genuinely thoughtful. She made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. We began at the bar with a cocktail called the VIP, which was perfectly balanced--smooth, refreshing, and very easy to enjoy. I didn't even think to take a photo until we were nearly finished--that's always a good sign. The complimentary bread was outstanding--warm, buttery, and perfectly fluffy with a delicate texture. Easily one of the best I've had, and very hard to resist. My husband and I shared three appetizers, two mains, and three sides, and even the sides were generously portioned. It was quite a lot of food, but every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The tuna tartare--with avocado and prawn chips--was incredibly fresh, delicious, and well-seasoned, with a delicate balance that really let the quality of the fish shine. The medium-rare sesame ahi tuna was another standout--perfectly seared, tender, and rich in flavor. It was so good that my husband started digging in before I could even snap a photo. We couldn't even finish all the sides, and by the end, we were completely full and had to skip dessert--but that just gives us a reason to come back.
