We've been to the one in downtown Denver and enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but found the facility to be a bit run down, so we figured to give this location a try. Well we were more than happy to find a top notch facility, friendly staff and outstanding food! From the time we walked in we were treated like royalty. The food was fresh, well presented and simply kept coming until had to 'cry uncle'! Great place to go for a special celebration, as it's pricey for the 'regular guy', but such a great experience. Recommend grabbing discounted gift cards at Costco before you go and save $20 per $100 you spend. Lunchtime is also quite a bit less for the full Churrasco. read more

This was a special occasion late lunch. First time here and definitely impressive! Reservation just after noon on a Saturday. The place was busy, steady but not packed yet. Volume level was very good for conversation and comfort. First visit here, our server was super helpful in explaining the dining experience and how everything worked, which was very helpful. Website suggested smart casual, however we saw everything from, (not even joking) pajamas, shorts, favorite jerseys, and torn jeans. Be comfortable, you're going to eat a lot. Fogo de Chão in Lone Tree is my go-to. I love it because it reminds me of Ecuadorian food both being South American, there's just something about it that feels familiar. The steak is always amazing, and I always leave full. The whole experience is just worth it if you're craving a really satisfying meal. Service has consistently been great, although it can be a little slow at times but it's usually because they're busy. I went for Thanksgiving recently and it was such a good experience they even gave us $25 gift cards to use toward a future dinner, which was a nice touch. Also, I love their caipirinhas super refreshing and just hit every time. Definitely one of my favorite spots. read more

As usual - an excellent Happy Hour! This visit we opted to try all the food on the Happy Hour Menu. We started with the Queijo Assado, the Spiced Chicken Sliders, The Picanha Burger and the Brazilian Empanadas. Because of our loyalty status we were given a small charcuterie plate and one friend had a reward of a Lobster and Shrimp bowl on ice (see amazing photo). It was a Tuesday so the Caipirinhas were $1- we had to try more than one ;) Our service was excellent and sitting at the bar we were amazed by Raoul who never stopped working for a minute and managed to shake every drink - see video. My husband and I love coming to Fogo de Chão and have probably visited this location 30+ times, so we're very familiar with what the full experience should be like. We made a reservation for New Year's Day and fully expected it to be busy. We came for lunch and let our server know right away that we were there for the full experience. Unfortunately, after about 20 minutes, we still hadn't been offered any meats, sides, or other key elements that make up that experience. Once I mentioned it to a server, things immediately improved -- we were then served all cuts of meat, asked how we wanted them cooked, and received the level of attention we're used to. At this price point ($70 minimum per person for lunch), I expect the service to be perfect or close to it, especially given how consistently great our past visits have been. It also felt like the tables were packed a bit too close together for a restaurant designed around servers and gauchos constantly moving between tables to offer meats and sides, which may have contributed to the initial lapse. Overall, we still enjoyed our meal once things were corrected, but the start of the experience didn't quite meet the standard we've come to expect from Fogo! read more

We chose to go to Fogo for our 20th wedding anniversary. I had tried Fogo a week prior in another state (at a conference) and thought my meat-eating husband would love it (I'm a vegetarian). Turns out I was right and he loved it! It's rare that I get to surprise him with something as he's a simple man. The server was delightful and the food was delicious. The restaurant itself is just okay - it's hard to tell what they're going for and the ambiance was a bit "dim" from what we may have wanted for an anniversary dinner, but it was fine. The pineapple was inedible (not ripe) They accommodated us having a toddler which was great, high chair was available However, have to knock off a few stars because we ordered wine at the start of our dinner and by the time we finished an hour later, no wine was brought. Constantly reminded wait staff who said there was a delay with the bar being understaffed. Truly would have understood if it was a 15 min delay- but over an hour seemed excessive. My family came here to celebrate my son's 13th birthday on Wednesday night. The experience was quite awful. At least most of the food was decent. Food: 4 - 4.5 stars Service: 1 - 1.5 stars We were seated immediately, ordered a few drinks, and hit the salad bar. After a few minutes, the sides came out and meat was stopping by. Pretty good start to the evening. We never interacted with our server again until a "good bye" as we were walking towards the exit. We did see him interacting with other tables next to us though. The meat stopped coming. At least our waters were being refilled. We were there for an hour and a half, spending more than half the time just waiting around. Only 1 person, a tall, red head lady, made our experience just bearable, so a positive shout out to her. She was the only one who asked us what we needed or how everything was. When the meat stopped coming, we asked her for picanha and we saw her talking to the guy holding the picanha. He never came over. Then later on (maybe 15 minutes later?), she asked if we ever got the picanha, and we said no. So she talked to someone again and then we finally got it a few minutes later. Apparently there were other tables celebrating, probably birthdays. They all got dessert with candles. We were not even asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu. My son was being totally cool about it, but it felt absolutely terrible. We waited about 20 minutes before flagging down the tall lady to get our check. They accidently charged us for an extra dinner, so I pointed it out and it got corrected. I guess our original server really disliked us or something. I can't help but wonder, my family is Asian and everyone in there was white. Discrimination? Impossible to prove or tell, but when we are the only ones in there getting terrible service and we are the only ones not getting offered dessert or birthday treat, then that inescapably becomes a possibility in our minds. Did the staff assume we would leave a bad tip because we were not white, and decide to not try hard with us? I normally leave 20-25% and round up, but I left 15%. Some in my family said 0 or 5% would have been more appropriate, and maybe they were right. Let's talk about the food. Salad bar was nice, I always like the black bean stew. Cheese bread was outstanding. The mashed potatoes were too buttery and overworked. The plantains were phenomenal. But the fried sticks, which looked like an attempt at fried yucca, were crunchy, flavorless, and disgusting. The meats were mostly great. Pork belly with lime and honey were a favorite amongst us. Picanha was the best. The chicken and pork chop were absolutely tasty with unique flavors that popped and cooked well. Garlic steak was too chewy with connective bits throughout the meat, making it impossible to enjoy. Flank steak and top sirloin were okay. Lamb was nice and lamb-y in flavor. Sausage was tasty and not shy with the unique spices in there. Establishment was clean and well-kept. With that food, this could have been a 4 or 5 star experience. However, the service for us was that bad. Maybe if we were a couple tables over and white-skinned, then it would have been a 5 star experience. We had a beautiful experience at Fogo! Everything scored a 10. Everything was prepared to perfection. Service was perfection. Ambience was in gorgeous good taste. Sumptuous meats circulated on swords every few minutes beautiful cuts of perfectly roasted offerings: lamb, pork, prime rib, filet, beautifully carved to order at your table. Our host was brilliant and ever so accommodating. To have taken pictures throughout the meal would have been disruptive, but I did catch this gorgeous dessert plate. I joined the Fogo de Chao members club because I do plan on celebrating here in the near future. What a wonderful place to bring a date, or celebrate with a group. What a mistake coming here. This place was once a steal for what the quality meats and salad bar items you got... and now it's a disappointment. We decided to check it out again on a whim. It was shocking how low quality meats and salad bar items you get. We paid $170 for 2 $65 endless meat and salad bar plus tax and tip. We drank tap water. This was worth $100 with tax and tip. We felt ripped off and leaving this review so I remember to avoid in 3 years when nostalgia hits on how great this place use to be. We had to basically beg for the ribeye to come out. They brought out a "ribeye" one time and there is no way that was a ribeye. It was lean with zero fat. Most of the meats lacked serious seasoning. We asked for salt to help this. The best thing we ate was the lamb. Wait staff is friendly. I would not come back. I would not recommend. For $170 you could enjoy a great dinner and drinks elsewhere. We had our boys home for spring break and decided to splurge a little, (with some help from Costco gift cards) and take the family here. Very classy, beautiful place with staff that greet you as you walk in, then treat you like royalty for your entire meal. Our waiter was outstanding, making sure drinks were filled, items we preferred from the kitchen kept coming and that we simply enjoyed the time. Took my Mum to Fogo de Chao during her recent visit to Denver. I'd been looking forward to trying this restaurant, as was my 14 year old carnivore son. Upon arriving and attempting to check-in with the hostess stand for my reservation, I was simply ignored by multiple hostesses. Granted, they were doing things, but a simple "Hello. We'll be right with you." goes very far in showing you care about your customers (especially for a restaurant where I spent over $300 dollars for a lunch reservation!). If you've ever been to. Brazilian steakhouse, you know what to expect. Servers walking around with long skewers of different meat cuts (mainly beef, but some chicken and pineapple as well). All was tasty, although most were very salty. You definitely need to opt in with the still water (charged by the bottle). The ambiance was nice, but sitting along the windows on an October afternoon was a little hot. Thankfully my wife figured out how to lower the blinds (which other tables near us then also did). You'd think the floor employees would have figured that out... Would I return? I am not certain to be fair. I enjoyed the meal and our table server was fantastic. I just expected all to be top notch for this sort of establishment and I was left feeling a little ripped off at the end (especially with no dessert ordered and just two glasses of Malbac at the beginning of our order). read more

Wanted to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary. Bought a $100 gift card. Called on a Thursday to make a reservation for Saturday. There's no option to talk to a person, so you just have to hope the machine cooperates. I kept saying my name is Shawn, and it kept going "so what's your name?" so I said screw it and said "Ariel". Then it asked for any special requests, and I said "halal meat" because the restaurant sometimes does that. Then I kept trying to specify the meats, and she just wasn't getting it, then automatically hung up on me. So I tried to edit the special requests online, and it wouldn't submit, not even on the app. So I went to the restaurant in-person on Friday to tell them the specific meats, and he wrote it down and said no problem, we can do that. Then Saturday is my parents' wedding anniversary, and we were walking around all day, so our legs were killing us and we were excited to eat. We get there, sit down, then they tell us they don't have any halal meat. So we left, and had to walk around even more to find another place. I know it's unreasonable to expect the restaurant to accommodate everyone. But they literally said they would. And it was such a pain to just make the reservation in the first place. And now I'm down 100 bucks that I guess I'll have to use at some point. read more

Once again- This place does not ever let us down. We came for my grandson's 7th birthday. There were five of us (+ my #100 lb Service Dog) We arrive. Greeted Extremely Kindly, no question's, arguing perfect atmosphere to start our dinner We were seated at a perfect table that accommodated my very large dog. Immediately someone took our beverage order, directed us on the 'how to's' at this restaurant. My family went to get salads. Then the meats started to be served. There wasn't a moment when the disk's were turned 'green' that we were not being served. The Filet Minot and Flank Steaks were a huge hit at our table. Our grandson tried everything that came out too. He enjoyed using the personal Tonga's so much. I think that was his favorite part. As always it's very clean. Could be two stars, but some people enjoy this so. ‍ I totally echo the other person who said $175 for two people for dinner after tax and tip is absolutely nuts here. 70% of what they bring you is inexpensive chicken or pork, and 70% of the meats are cooked to death. The lamb is good, and when not cooked to death, so is some of the steak. But even if everything they brought was in that top 20-30%, it would merit MAYBE $45/person? They are also absolutely not generous with the portions they cut for you. Like thanks I'm glad I waited 5 mins for my single bite. Service is also mid at best. Quick specific callout on pricing: 740 calorie cauliflower steak is $23 at lunch, and the same portion is $43 at dinner. We went to this location for a special occasion celebrating my sons birthday and also celebrating 2 high school graduations and 2 college graduations. We did the Best of Brazil promotion. I put it in the reservation and he knew that was what we wanted we did not even ask or remind him. Miguel was spectacular and the service was spot on the whole time. We even got some free desserts. The food was delicious all around. I would highly recommend this restaurant and location for your next special celebration. I swear, I thought I left a review for this place! I brought my friend here for his birthday as he has never gone tk a Brazillian steakhouse in the US. we had TACO as our server. He recommended a bottle of red apart from what I usually order and boy was he right. He made sure to be charming and attentive to our table. We never wanted for anything. If we wanted more polenta or banana, he was there. The passadores (the people serving meat on the skewers) also paid attention to our table's preferences on meat. I had simply mentioned in passing that I usually save my stomach space for lamb. Next thing I know, all the lamb passadores came by our table first! I got first slices on the lamb meats and got the nice charred cuts. Lastly, for a birthday, you get a dessert for free. I love coming to Fogo De Chao. I just have to prepare to be hungry! We went here for the first time for my girlfriend's 30th B-day... We both love Brazilian Steakhouses and this ended up being one of the best ones we ever went to BY FAR. I was dressed very casually but was never ever made to feel uncomfortable or out of place. From the very first interaction with the host we were greeted with the type of warmth old friends have towards each other after being away for a long time. Our server, Andrew, did a fantastic job explaining everything to us and then we proceeded to receive some of the best service I have in my life by the whole team. Kevin consistently came by our table and made sure everything was ALWAYS perfect. Whether it was clearing our plates within minutes of us finishing our food, or making sure we got the exact meats we wanted sent our way. We genuinely felt the love. This type of Professionalism AND Care is something I haven't experienced in a VERY long time. The food was PHENOMENAL. Can't really say it better than that. Lots of steakhouses salt their meets to uncomfortable amounts. But this was PERFECT. Greeted by a very nice waiter, and she went through the process of how the salad buffet/ Brazilian experience worked. I went with 2 others and we chose that. Went to the salad buffet first, AMAZING btw. For the meat/ Brazilian stuff, we all flip a card that either shows a green or a red side. That tells the waiters if and when to cut the meat for you. I have wanted to eat at Fogo de Chao for years - just never got around to it when I was near one. Now that I live closer to one- I made it a priority. So this date night we figure let's go. We arrived & parking is weird so we Valet parked. Turns out they validate valet so that's a plus! We arrived around 2:30 & we're seated immediately by a kind & gracious host. I immediately stepped away for a bathroom break (very clean btw & the bathroom also smelled good). When I came back our server appeared within the next 5min. He was kind but very soft spoken so he was hard to hear. Once he explained how it works (we chose churrasco experience $48/person) so we are off to a good start. We headed to the salad area & to our surprise it was underwhelming. A lot of unfamiliar dishes and more than a few didn't have a name or description. Same with the soup.. it was a coconut squash soup I believe (I tried it) but no where was there the name or item description. Also a lot of the food items looked like they had been out a while (so unappealing) & the fruit was under ripe & not a lot of fruit there. They had a prosciutto board with 2 cheeses on it & capers/mustard/onion & smoked salmon there, caprese salad (underrripe tomato tasted like nothing) Honestly it was just lacking. So we headed back to our table & it took a while for the meat to come around. We were seated at a window & they just kept circulating in the middle of the room (awkward) and when they finally came over they gave such small portions & the meat was either under seasoned or over seasoned with big salt flakes (odd & unappetizing) we tried the chicken thighs (cooked DRY), three types of steak (flank being the best) lamb, pork sausage (I didn't like it), grilled pineapple (yum!) & the chicken & steak in bacon (dry & the bacon was raw in between the chunks) Overall just honestly the biggest let down I've had in a long time restaurant wise. The best part of my meal was the salad I made at the salad bar (& I will say they have one of the best whiskey sours I've ever tasted) & my whiskey sour. The rest of it was not to my liking taste wise & service was only ok, and it was just a very underwhelming experience and I love upscale steak houses!. So we haven't gone to this location in a long time because it had progressively gone downhill. But it has totally changed. The food was very good. The meat was all juicy and cooked fresh. I think one of the biggest highlights was the service. Seriously fantastic service. Our server Reyes was really friendly, attentive and gave us the best recommendations (you should really try the crème brûlée cheesecake omg). I thought the quality of the food was excellent, and the variety was great as well, but the service is really painful. We ordered drinks that would show up 30 minutes later. One time they entirely forgot about a glass of wine which frankly we should've been able to close out our bill and leave, but they insisted on bringing it, also dirty plates just pile up and if you're going to do a buffet style, then you have to clear plates so the service was pretty disappointing. I noticed this location did not have a few fruit salads, more fruit selections, and the dry rice powder topping for the Feijoada I'm used to seeing at others. Meat rotations felt a bit slow today, sometimes the servers would skip over tables. I had to ask for certain meats to come again since they took a while to rotate. We had a 7pm reservation, didn't get sat until 8, and had the luxury of getting our ear blown out by a dj while we waited outside. So NOT ONLY did they know this would be an issue but they PLANNED FOR IT. Designed incompetency. After we ate and waited 35 minutes for my cocktail to arrive because the waitress forgot, then lobster mac & cheese she ALSO forgot... we told her to not include it in the bill and to cancel the order because the time had passed. Then not 2 minutes later she came hustling out of the kitchen with a "fresh" mac & cheese, after we told her we didn't want it; then she charged us for it. Our valentines date wasn't ruined, the meat-men did a good job but boy did she suck. Save your money and go get prime rib at country buffet, it'd probably taste the same. I'll never light my money on fire here again, but at least the candied bacon is "free." read more

Food actually was very good. Lot of good choices on the meats. The chicken was dry. All the steaks were very good. Service was good also. Atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, I had a 6:45pm reservation and they sat me at 7:20pm. This is the second time this happened. This is unacceptable. Once maybe but two times in a row. Poor management. The food 3.5 stars for this type of restaurant, pretty decent. Service was 4 stars very good. However the entire experience was not great since I was sat over 35 minutes late. 3 stars. read more

We enjoyed a four course dinner with a Daou wine pairing. All in all, it was well orchestrated and professional. We did choose to buy the Daou Collection but they ran out of the Reserve, so we picked it up later. Caroline and the wait staff were fantastic. We were close to the kitchen which seemed to be unfortunate. When the pork and lamb were sliced, we received the crust / sear / bark - which was oversalted in our opinion, making it difficult to enjoy. The Porterhouse and Wagyu Ribeye were fantastic as well as the Lobster and Shrimp Taco and Roasted Corn Chowder.
