As usual - an excellent Happy Hour! This visit we opted to try all the food on the Happy Hour Menu. We started with the Queijo Assado, the Spiced Chicken Sliders, The Picanha Burger and the Brazilian Empanadas. Because of our loyalty status we were given a small charcuterie plate and one friend had a reward of a Lobster and Shrimp bowl on ice (see amazing photo). It was a Tuesday so the Caipirinhas were $1- we had to try more than one ;) Our service was excellent and sitting at the bar we were amazed by Raoul who never stopped working for a minute and managed to shake every drink - see video. He truly made our visit special and we will definitely be back.

My husband and I love coming to Fogo de Chão and have probably visited this location 30+ times, so we're very familiar with what the full experience should be like. We made a reservation for New Year's Day and fully expected it to be busy. We came for lunch and let our server know right away that we were there for the full experience. Unfortunately, after about 20 minutes, we still hadn't been offered any meats, sides, or other key elements that make up that experience. Once I mentioned it to a server, things immediately improved -- we were then served all cuts of meat, asked how we wanted them cooked, and received the level of attention we're used to. At this price point ($70 minimum per person for lunch), I expect the service to be perfect or close to it, especially given how consistently great our past visits have been. It also felt like the tables were packed a bit too close together for a restaurant designed around servers and gauchos constantly moving between tables to offer meats and sides, which may have contributed to the initial lapse. Overall, we still enjoyed our meal once things were corrected, but the start of the experience didn't quite meet the standard we've come to expect from Fogo!

We chose to go to Fogo for our 20th wedding anniversary. I had tried Fogo a week prior in another state (at a conference) and thought my meat-eating husband would love it (I'm a vegetarian). Turns out I was right and he loved it! It's rare that I get to surprise him with something as he's a simple man. The server was delightful and the food was delicious. The restaurant itself is just okay - it's hard to tell what they're going for and the ambiance was a bit "dim" from what we may have wanted for an anniversary dinner, but it was fine. We will be back for the next special occasion!

We had a beautiful experience at Fogo! Everything scored a 10. Everything was prepared to perfection. Service was perfection. Ambience was in gorgeous good taste. Sumptuous meats circulated on swords every few minutes beautiful cuts of perfectly roasted offerings: lamb, pork, prime rib, filet, beautifully carved to order at your table. Our host was brilliant and ever so accommodating. To have taken pictures throughout the meal would have been disruptive, but I did catch this gorgeous dessert plate. I joined the Fogo de Chao members club because I do plan on celebrating here in the near future. What a wonderful place to bring a date, or celebrate with a group. Truly a memorable experience, and most highly recommended.

Once again- This place does not ever let us down. We came for my grandson's 7th birthday. There were five of us (+ my #100 lb Service Dog) We arrive. Greeted Extremely Kindly, no question's, arguing perfect atmosphere to start our dinner We were seated at a perfect table that accommodated my very large dog. Immediately someone took our beverage order, directed us on the 'how to's' at this restaurant. My family went to get salads. Then the meats started to be served. There wasn't a moment when the disk's were turned 'green' that we were not being served. The Filet Minot and Flank Steaks were a huge hit at our table. Our grandson tried everything that came out too. He enjoyed using the personal Tonga's so much. I think that was his favorite part. As always it's very clean. It was quiet on the Sunday at 3 pm when we went. Management makes the rounds through out the meal to assure you are happy. To the employees: Thank you!!

He said his food is delicious especially the stuffed crab was seasoned to perfection. Everything else was just as great. Shameeka and Vincent had the catfish and fried shrimp platter and she was super excited. The dish was golden brown and crispy just like she likes it. She was sitting there humming happily. And within the last few years they redid their dessert menu which upped their game even more. Specifically my husband, daughter and I went here for my husband's birthday recently and it was as good as ever. I always get the blackened catfish. They used to serve it with dirty rice, so I like to add an extra side of this. The red beans and rice that they currently serve it with are delicious, but I don't feel the flavors pair as nicely with the blackened catfish. My husband always orders the chopped salad with fried crawfish. He likes it with the creamy vinaigrette it comes with AND blue cheese dressing. Our waiter accidentally put in an order for a Cobb Salad instead of the Chopped, so when he brought it out we were confused at first. Then we all realized the mistake. He let my husband keep the Cobb while the kitchen hurried to make him his Chopped that he ordered. I've never had their Cobb Salad before but it was really good! The dressing they serve it with tastes a little like a Russian or Catalina dressing, but leveled up--it is delicious. I still prefer the Chopped salad, but the Cobb was still very good. My main complaint is that it's served deconstructed. My daughter got the Pasta Mardi Gras. It was very good too. She realized half way through that there was a lot more sauce on the bottom, so make sure to mix it up well to get all the flavor. My daughter ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was very tasty. HOWEVER, they filled the glass to the brim with ice, so there wasn't a lot of strawberry lemonade in the glass. When she ordered a refill (which you pay a discounted price for) we commented on how much ice there was in the first one and the waiter agreed there was too much and ordered light ice for the refill. I suggest you do this from the beginning. For my husband's complimentary birthday dessert, he ordered the crème brûlée and it was honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. I usually order the key lime pie for dessert here, which is amazing. The one thing I feel they should improve on is the complimentary bread they serve as an appetizer. It tastes like the bread you pay a dollar a loaf for at Walmart. Come on Pappadeaux, you can do better than that! How about bread and dipping sauce along the lines of Carrabbas? Maybe with a Cajun bent to the dipping sauce? That would be more in line with the quality of your food.

It's definitely giving date night energy: low lighting, candlelit tables, and a cozy-but-busy atmosphere. Every time I've gone it's been pretty packed, but I've never had trouble snagging a seat (and I never make reservations). Honestly, it's become my go-to for a solo night--cocktail in hand, spicy book in the other. My routine? Friday nights. I settle in with my book, order the Thai calamari (which has the perfect punch of flavor), and wait for the 9pm special--$0.99 oysters until close on Fridays and Saturdays. Such a steal. The servers are always great, but Chris really stands out--attentive, kind, and totally gets the vibe of letting me relax and enjoy my drink and my book. I also came during Denver Restaurant Week and did their 3-course menu: calamari (obviously), the sea bass (which surprised me in the best way), and the blood orange olive oil cake... WOW. Light, citrusy, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. Most recently, I brought my boyfriend and we finally explored more of their oyster selection. Our server guided us based on our flavor preferences, and we loved a few so much we had to order another dozen. This spot is a gem--whether it's a solo unwind night or a cute date. I try to come at least once a month, and it never disappoints.

When we mentioned it was our 35th anniversary, our server came back and said "We need some romance here" and spread rose petals on the table. She was attentive and prompt, and extremely pleasant. For pre-dinner cocktails, I had "The Godfather Returns" (a scotch drink), which was great. Also, we think their bread is some of the best around. She had a "Fashioned First" which was a fun twist on an old-fashioned. We started with the Truffle Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Too much for two, so we took leftovers home and it was great the next day, too. Maria, the beautiful Italian, had the Crab Cakes appetizer, which she pronounced "Delicious". I had the Caesar Salad and we split the Au Gratin Potates side (sooo good). I know that sounds kind of plain, but they also offer a "Chopped Steak" made from jackfruit, and Spaghetti Squash Primavera. I wish I had tried the fake steak, but I do love their Caesar... I can say that once our orders were placed, the food came out in a very acceptable timeframe. The steak I ordered rare was cooked well done. This is unacceptable at this type of steakhouse. If we were not already running late I would have returned the steak, but we were in a time crunch so I did not send it back and ate the well done steak. The sides were good, but the steak was a huge letdown. I should have gotten the pork chop. It looked fantastic. If I ever make it back here, I will have to give it a shot. The real bad news was after lunch. In the car my stomach started bothering me. I made it back to the office and pushed through for about an hour, and then the drive home was terrible. My stomach did barrel rolls the rest of the day, and I took many trips to the restroom that evening, and canceled my normal evening plans (gym, walk, etc). I was plainly sick to my stomach for the entire day following the meal here. I cannot remember the last time I ever had such a direct response to a meal this way, but I wrestle with how a simple meal of beef, potatoes, veggies, and bread could make me as sick as I was. Still, it happened, and I cannot deny it. So, not a great experience. If I am invited for a work lunch again I will attend, hoping this was a one-off experience, but I probably will not be back if it is on my own dime.

5-Star Service, 2-Star Salmon, 3-Star Math…read more We rolled into Bonefish at 6 PM on a Saturday and the place was jumping--well, half of it was. The dining room was packed to the gills, yet the bar area was strangely deserted, looking like a ghost town in the middle of a party. We started with some cocktails (the wine list is a bit of a short read, by the way) and the legendary Bang Bang Shrimp. Sadly, it was more of a 'Whimper Whimper Shrimp' this time--smaller and less crunchy than the glory days. Our server, Christophe, was the MVP of the evening. Friendly, efficient, and professional--honestly, he's the only reason this isn't a one-star review. He was great; the kitchen, however, seemed to be having a rough Saturday night. My wife and our friend both ordered the salmon, which arrived looking like it had spent a bit too much time under the heat lamp. It was overdone and definitely didn't taste 'fresh off the boat.' Our friend Bill had a seafood pasta dish that looked... well, let's just say it didn't inspire envy. I opted for the Butterfish, which was cooked nicely, but was remarkably flavorless despite being bathed in an Asian sauce. Overall, a solid 3-star experience. Go for Christophe and the atmosphere, but maybe eat a snack before you arrive.
