Never a disappointment... from the time you walk in and greeted to being seated is never long, but you will need to be patient if you are going at dinner time on the weekend. We have had the fish tacos, queso fundido (spicy), Chicken Tortilla soup, fajitas, Tequila Shrimp and the Anniversary Plate and all were seasoned well and outstanding. I know a lot of people like the brick interior, but to me it just felt very closed in. I much prefer the location in Castle Rock which has been renamed 'Savinas' and had a different owner. Taylor was excellent as our waitress. Food 4 , service 5 and ambiance a 4 to start. I really hope this place lasts here as almost every business that goes in here just does not make it, sadly. The story of La Loma and the couple - with divorce sadly is disappointing but these days reality. I hope & pray the wife that owns this restaurant much success. . Food - different menu than the one in Castlerock. - opinion.. better! Has much more flavor & authenticity. Sierra one of my Go to's every week- gives you less Chilli Reinios then this spot but Parker is less $$. Lacking the views and vibes from Castle Rock, but La Loma is still an important part of Parker's Mexican food glow up in 2025. With Venalonzo's, Cencalli, and La Loma, Parker finally has more decent food spots to join Los Dos Portrillos. And if you somehow thought Casa Mariachi was the best in town, I truly don't know what to say. La Loma is more expensive than other Mexican restaurants, but not by much when you consider the step up in atmosphere. I've enjoyed all of the La Loma locations I've been to, and while this one still feels like it could keep things moving faster, it's great to have as an option when you want to take someone to a somewhat nicer dinner in Parker, which is nearly impossible to do. I would make reservations here before you go if you can. Waits can get long, and they don't really hustle to try to get more butts in seats. If you're planning to get in and out of here in an hour, you might as well tell your friends that you're going to be late now. That being said, the food is exactly what you'd expect from La Loma, better than mid-tier Mexican food that isn't fancy, think the level of an older high schooler's special dinner for their birthday, in an environment that works for casual and business casual. More places like this are desperately needed in Parker, even if it's yet another of the 25,000 in Parker, and La Loma should hopefully be here for years. read more

I was busy visiting the Castle Rock location but when this location finally opened, waited the traffic to die down and finally made it. Also, this is part of Resy restaurant network and gave another reason to try out. This location use to be Italain restaurant, sat vacant for awhile, had La Loma name on it for few years and finally opened. Love the ambiance well carried over. We were greeted and sat right away. Awesome! One of the initial greeter brought over the complimentary chips and salsa and took the drink order and also appetizer order. Hoot hoot. While munching on chips, our server with a trainee stopped by and took our order. During our meal, manager stopped by to check on us too. Our trainee frequently stopped by our table to refill the water, take away empty dishes. It was awesome to see everyone working together to raise up the level of service at this location. I'd really rate this at 2.5 stars. Our server was outstanding, so I would like to recognize the great service we were given during our lunch. Having gone to La Loma downtown, I was excited to see La Loma open up on Parker. The food at the Parker location was ok but the prices are outrageous. I ordered a taco salad with grilled chicken. The total for this entree was $25 . Way too expensive for lettuce, a few pieces of chicken (which was a $6 up charge) , sour cream, guac, some cheese, and a taco shell. The restaurant itself is arranged very nicely and has very comfy booths. Our server was amazing and very nice. She checked in on us frequently and allowed our party to chat and catch up for a while, even after we were done eating and ordering. I just can't justify eating meh food for $25. Had a great experience at the La Loma downtown and don't recall it being this pricey and this meh. This location in Parker, not so much. read more

While visiting some family in the Parker area, my husband and I decided to stop in for lunch after running some errands. Wow! What a great restaurant this is. Literally from being greeted in the front to the end of the meal, our experience was so positive. First off the restaurant is very pretty, clean, and inviting. Our server, Ashley was just the nicest and most attentive server ever. She really set the tone for such a great lunch and I appreciated her recommendations and friendly attitude. They give you free chips and salsa which were really good and the drinks were refreshing. My husband had the taco dorados which he really liked and I had the fish tacos which were delicious! I love a good fish taco and both dishes had large portions. If you are even in the Parker, CO area then stop and try this place and ask for Ashley as your server. My mom, aunt, and I came here because it finally opened and we really wanted to try it! The inside was very well decorated and was nice. Our waitress was super nice and we all loved her. The real let down was the food though. Our waitress said everything was made by scratch in house so we had high hopes that this food would be amazing! It was nowhere near that. Honestly the best thing out of the entire meal was the salsa. We started with the queso and it was awful. It had no flavor and just tasted terrible. It separated by the time we finished eating and was just bad. I had the chimichanga and it was so bad. They served it as two tiny little fried chimis with nothing on them and the green chili on the side. They lacked and flavor and the green chili was awful. My mom had the taco salad and she even said that it's better at Taco Bell than here. My aunt had the flautas and again it was lacking in flavor. 4 starts just because I'm holding out hope la Loma Parker turns it around. Their food is by far better than that chain across the lot and I'm happy they are close to me. Day 2 opening and some serious issues though - 1 hostess have no idea what they're doing they put us in a spot where apparently the server left for the day. We sat 30 min not one person came For drinks or anything. We finally went to ask someone and they said they'd put in a drink order 10 min later ANOTHER waiter comes and says they're taking over and now putting drink order in. We proceed to wait 30 min for drinks. We get our app and tell a man who I guess is waiter that we haven't gotten drinks and he says the morning shift is getting off at 3:30p and afternoon shift is catching up - okkkkkk they open at 11am and why would you EVER do a shift change right at happy hour? Also the table next to us ordered and got their margaritas in 10 min. Yes we timed it! So something is not meshing here. We order my son's food and apps, twice 2 other waiters try to give us someone else's apps also. Then we get fajitas which are wrong - we ordered beef and chicken came. We sent back -which was fine because we JUST GOT OUR APPS. We finally get our fajitas and nobody cut them or gave us steak knife. Also the homemade tortillas were ice cold- we literally heated them on the fajita plate so we could eat. We were scared to order another drink as we had already been there 1.5 hrs and didn't want to wait another 30 min. I must say for restaurants that make a lot of money on bar mark up this is m huge missed opportunity and you need to get the bar on track. Trainers, chefs, waiters, hostesses please turn this around! My family and I used go to the original La Loma in Denver, but money has been tight and we haven't gone for years, but it was always my mom's favorite restaurant, so I treated her today as an extra Mother's Day present. We are happy to see the quality of everything concerning this restaurant hasn't changed; it's still fantastic. Our waitress, Mia, went above and beyond to give us a wonderful experience, including giving me extra green chili because I mentioned what a big fan I am. That's kindness and customer consideration you don't always find. The staff are all very polite, hospitable, and hardworking. The food was very delicious. I had the chile rellenos, and my mom has the carne quisada. The green chili was as good as I've had in a restaurant, though it would've been even better if there was a vegetarian version without pork (I checked, but there isn't). My mom also loved her margarita, and we finished with decadent fried ice cream (definitely recommend). The atmosphere and aesthetic were relaxed and welcoming. I loved how it was light enough to see well, but dim enough to be calming and peaceful. I loved hearing the focused kitchen staff talking in Spanish with each other about the others. You can tell they're a good team. In spite of any of that it wasn't noisy, and I could easily enjoy conversation with my mom. I have no criticisms about La Loma's. I only wish we could go more often! There was so much hype, and so many people in Parker were awaiting the opening. I was so disappointed when I finally tried it. Pros: It is clean. The decor is nice and welcoming. Cons: You are nickel and dimed and not warned about upcharges. The economy is not great, so when I saw somewhat high prices on the menu, I expected it. I accepted it. I ordered a margarita and the waitress asked "Strawberry?" which sounded good so I said "Sure." It never occurred to me to ask if there would be an upcharge for that. I've never been charged extra for a different flavor of margarita at another restaurant before. I ordered my entree and the waitress asked "with lettuce and onions on top?" and I replied "just lettuce, please. No onions." I did not ask if there would be an upcharge. Again, I'm used to additional charges for sour cream or guacamole at other restaurants, but not for lettuce. The entree was the blandest enchilada I've ever had in my life. I'd read reviews here before I went and was ready for the refried beans to be mediocre. They were fine. They were the best part of my entree. The rice was crushed and it looked like couscous. Most of my plate was filled with this couscous looking rice. Which also had no flavor or spice. I ordered a sopapilla for dessert. It was thick and kind of chewy. It was undercooked, which I am fine with but it was also chewy and that was a bit strange. The honey didn't even seem like real honey. I think it was sugary syrup with some flavoring or preservatives. Then, I got the bill. The strawberry flavoring in the margarita was an additional charge. The lettuce on my entree cost me and additional $4. I had not been warned about that. There were unexpected upcharges left and right. My friends and I hardly got water or sodapop refills. We had to keep asking for refills. The waitress stood looking over our shoulders when we paid and stood looking over our shoulders when we filled out our tips and gave her the paperwork. I ended up feeling very uncomfortable. For my meal alone, with tip and tax, I paid $80! I only had 1 drink. The next day, I went to a taco truck near Advance Automotive in Stonegate Crossing and paid $12 for better Mexican food. I'll skip La Loma next time and get my Mexican food elsewhere. read more

Me and The Hubs had been waiting for this location to open. We go to the Castle Rock location occasionally for lunch, but it's just too far of a drive back home from CR to go there for dinner (and margaritas!). Anyway, we went to the new Parker location for dinner earlier this week (mid-week night with a reservation). We were seated immediately. When we arrived at 7 PM, they were mostly full and doing a brisk business (it had thinned out a lot by 8). I hadn't been able to find a website for this location and had wondered if the menu was the same as at CR (apparently the ownership is different). While I haven't compared the menus side by side, I didn't notice a difference (will post menu photos). We started with two Skinny Margaritas and the Chile Con Queso while we decided what to have for entrees. The margs were just as good as what I've had in CR, as was the queso. The menu says the queso is 'served with' jalapenos and tomatoes, which implies that they would be on the side. When I asked, our server said that they were served in the queso, so I requested that the jalapenos be on the side. For entrees, The Hubs ordered the Tequila Shrimp and I had the Carnitas Tacos. The Carnitas actually comes out as a 'plate' and not as tacos. You make your own tacos with the house-made flour tortillas and the sides that come with it. The Parker version of the carnitas was a bit different from what I remember at CR; the meat seemed to be mixed with a bit of some type of sauce, while the CR location was just shredded pork. I would have preferred it without whatever sauce was on it, but it wasn't a problem and it was still good. The Hubs enjoyed his dinner, as well. Service was very good. Our server had a trainee, which was fine. Both were attentive and friendly. The restaurant decor is very similar to the CR location with lots of brick on the walls and hammered copper tabletops. I agree with one of the other reviewers about the booths not having enough room between you and the table. It was tight for both me and The Hubs (I could stand to lose a few pounds and The Hubs is just a tall guy). I think we'll opt for a table next time. Anyway, I'm glad this location is FINALLY open! It was.... Okay. Definitely a disappointment. Everything feels forced and not natural, in terms of the ambience and service. The restaurant lacks confidence and a positive impression. The reservation system and host staff was smooth and organized. That was great! The Food: The chicken tortilla soup tasted like canned brothy chicken vegetable soup. It came with fried tortilla strips. Definitely would have preferred. Their in-house made flour tortillas that are excellent. Those tortillas were the shining star. The Chile Rellenos were limp and not very flavorful. The green chili was great, that came with it. My husband had some sort of carne dish with rice and beans. The rice beans were simple and tasty, and the meat and sauce was flavorful and spicy, but a bit greasy. We really hope the restaurant can evolve the menu, and settle in to their vision. We drove up to the restaurant to see when they will open and we're very fortunate to run into the owner Nathan he invited both Patty and I for lunch for his soft opening with a select few clients. The place is beautiful and inviting a place I will keep coming to eat I ordered the chimichanga and the chicken tortilla soup both were superb the guacamole was perfect the skinny margarita was made with fresh squeezed lime and was delicious the prices were just right I I am enjoying the fried ice cream. La Loma in Parker does not hold up to the standards set by the other locations. We have been fans of La Loma for a long time and were very excited that one was opening so close to us. We have gone three times and each time we have been disappointed by underwhelming food for the prices. The green chili has become a watered down mess and the rest for the menu isn't much better. I don't mind spending good money for good food but this isn't fitting the bill anymore. To their credit the waitstaff and bartenders that we have had each time have been knowledgeable and very personable. Hopefully they can tweak some issues in the kitchen and get back on track. read more
