There will never really be much to complain about food-wise at Fogo de Chao. All steaks were good and the market table was enjoyable. The service however very disappointing. It was my first time at this specific location. We were about 10 minutes late to our weekday 12:30 reservation (reasonably late) but waited 15+ minutes to be sat down. Then upon sitting down no one had approached our table for another 5-10+ minutes. It was awhile before bread and drinks were brought to us and service was just not very attentive throughout the meal. The mashed potato and plantain sides also had to be requested when i haven't had to ask for them at other locations.

We visited Fogo de Chão for my birthday back in October. We've been many times before, but this visit just felt different. The service was okay and there was definitely no shortage of meat, but it also confirmed that we're just not buffet people--even when it's upscale. Even the seating felt off; it honestly reminded us of being back in Jamaica in July, sitting at our resort where meals were more exclusive and relaxed. Here, it felt like a high-end buffet with constant table traffic, which took away from the experience. Nothing was necessarily bad, but nothing really stood out either. Probably great if you love endless meat and that dining style--just not our vibe this time.

Came in today and was seated in the bar area with Maria. We were seated quickly without a reservation (2) & the service was phenomenal. The staff was just incredible. Joc consistently checked on us to make sure we were doing well and kept us refilled. The food was 100%. 10/10. We definitely will be back. It wasn't busy so the food came out very quickly. They have an all day happy hour so we ordered the lamb chops, filet board, chicken sliders, empanadas, beef rib, Gold rush, a Malbec and the happy hour burger. It was wonderful and we will be back!!

This is our second time at Fogo de Chao in cypress. We were greeted at the door, we had reservations and that is highly recommended. The lighting was dimmed and the music was not too loud where you can talk across the table. The table service was okay and was not spectacular. We kept having to ask to refill water, asking is there any meat because we got barely any meat served. The table would get offered servings of any kind of meat every 10 mins or even longer. You can literally look around the room and literally there was NO ONE serving meat to any guests at their table. No one got any type of beef, lamb, chicken for a good 5-10 mins. and if you did get offered meat it not hot, there wasn't a variety of beef the same 2 beefs / sausage were the only that did come around. I've been to multiple Brazilian steakhouse and this was VERY disappointing. The servers barely came around, completely ignoring our green/red cards. We had to repeatedly ask for specific cuts like the picanha, filet, which never appeared. I ask for fresh cheesy bread 3x to 3 different people . When the meat did arrive, it was either tough, extremely salty, or undercooked (still red in the middle when we asked for medium-well). Definitely NOT worth the high price tag at all; we actually left feeling incredibly frustrated and cheated. We spent $400 on salad bar, and a few pieces of meat. This is very sad and after writing this review and reading others I was not alone. All the tables were just sitting looking at each other, talking with no one walking around offering any sort of meat. This is actually really ridiculous and there should be servers bringing meats around non stop, to where guest have to flip their card red and when the plates are full of food. This was a total opposite experience, terrible experience and most likely my last time here. I will definitely not be back and prefer to go to other Brazilian Steakhouses that I know will provide a much better experience with a better selection of meat offerings or even offering meats more frequently then 1 every 10 minutes. Their sale of "endless meat" is FALSE Advertising. You get hardly any served to you, better go to a nice steakhouse do you really get what you paid for. Save yourself the money and time. I hope the manager / management team do read this review and consider on make a huge change.

Weird communal seating

Absolutely horrendous, why fogo keeps building these called down versions is beyond me. You have a successful model on Westheimer . Why you build these cut down versions is beyond me 1.) seating is a weird bench and chair configuration which forces you to sit next to complete strangers 2.) wait spilled my drink all over my side of the table and my white dress was wet and stained service was terrible. I asked for filet 6 times. Waited 45 min to get 1 piece that was terrible 3.) Daughter found several pieces of bone in her steak she had to spit out. Unacceptable. 4) the grilled cheese was burnt . We asked for a different selection that was brought but with no honey . 5.) small salad bar selection 6 .) no one smiled or seemed happy to be there. It made us feel like we were an inconvenience and. It welcome. Tiny way to do fine dining, definitely wouldn't return. Could never get a manager to come to my table to discuss the issues so we paid and left waste of money and time

The entire staff from the hostess to the manager was top tier. Restaurant was spotless and the food was so good. I just got the salad bar because there was so many choices from charcuterie to the candied maple bacon droooolllllll!!!! I could have had a plate of the bacon and oh my god the cheesy bread. Reminded me of mini popovers!!! But next time I will go and do the meat as well. Drink was on point!!! Don't ask me what it was but I had THREE they were so tasty!! Had a business dinner meeting when I was in Houston traveling on business.

We came here around 3:40 on a Sunday for a party of 4. We waited maybe 5 mins for a table. Service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. They also offer valet parking here, but I don't really see the point in that since there's plenty of parking in the back. We opted for the full churrasco experience. We started off at the market table which included things like charcuterie, salad, fruits, and my favorite - the candied bacon. After that we enjoyed endless meats from ribeye to lamb chops to pork belly. Everything was great quality and delicious.

I had an opportunity to have brunch during their soft opening. It was amazing! They're still training their staff, but everyone was very attentive and nice. They are very well trained with asking if you want your plate cleared, drinks refilled etc. This location is a little smaller than other locations like on Westheimer or The Woodlands. We were seated by the bar along the tables with bench seating. They had festive pillows for the holidays on the bench. Upon sitting down we were handed menus. I ordered their pineapple mint lemonade. It was fresh, minty and carbonated. Their market table had lots of options from charcuterie to fresh fruit. During brunch they also have soup selections and waffles. I really enjoyed their candied bacon. For their meats, everything was delicious I especially enjoyed their parmesan pork and tender beef cuts. For dessert we had the tres leches. It was super moist and had a torched meringue topping. I would love to return for a special occasion. They have valet but also there's plenty of parking in the shopping center.

I've had the Fogo de Chao experience several times. however, I'd say the one here was a little bit disappointing. Our initial server was very nice and professional. although he did forget to put in the drink order which we reminded him after about 15 minutes into the meal. the meat was the most disappointing. the medium rare cuts of beef were great! Some pieces needed a ittle bit more salt. The pork, chicken wrapped in bacon and sausage were pretty dry so that was disappointing. We ordered the stuff and turf, which included a tiny lobster tail and one crab cake. but that was it little and lobster tail was quite small and overall the seasoning there was probably overwhelming as you couldn't get a real good lobster flavor. The crabcake was well cooked although it hadate too much butter great food would go back. The salad bar is delicious. The candied bacon is on point. Might look at maybe a lunch hour developed to change the time since I went during dinner very clean interior very welcoming atmosphere. It took them probably about 10 minutes to finally get our check. It seemed like we didn't have a specific server assigned to our table. I asked one person and then after 5 minutes went and found another. It finally came out so we could pay. the service was lackluster that Saturday night that we went. I don't think that's typically how things go the case. I'd still recommend. I might go to a different location

I'm not even a steak person -- I usually order chicken -- but I actually ate a good amount and really enjoyed it. We ordered the sweet potato soufflé, mac & cheese, and corn. Everything was equally good. The sweet potato soufflé was smooth, creamy, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was rich with nicely toasted breadcrumbs, and the corn was solid. Only disappointment was the rolls. They weren't bad, just nothing special. Texas Roadhouse still has the best rolls . Service was top tier, and overall Steak 48 absolutely delivered. It rivals Little Alley Steak in ATL, which says a lot coming from me. Great birthday dinner.

From the moment we walked in, they were welcoming and friendly, the server patiently explained their highlights and recommendations. It's clear the restaurant is very intentional about their food choices. The manager even wrote a personalized birthday card for me and gave us a follow up call the next day to check in on our experience which was very kind of them. In regards to the food, it was delicious but we didn't find it exceptional enough to justify the high price point. The meal started off with complimentary bread service that you could choose with sea salt or garlic parmesan topping. The bread was so fluffy, warm, and comforting. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly, which was surprisingly tender and juicy, and the sauce complimented it very well. We ordered the regular size bone-in KC Strip to share. It was a huge portion and they give you extremely hot plates so that the steak stays warm and sizzly on your plate once you eat it. We were pretty impressed by how juicy and tender it was. The corn creme brulee and Boursin cheese whipped potatoes we had as sides were great complements to the dish. At the end of our meal, they treated us with a complimentary Cookies and Cream Popcorn Sundae which was super unique and really delicious. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're willing to ball out and celebrate for a special night.

I also added some of their house-made habanero curry hot sauce, which is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely have to try a few other dishes next time! Their coffees are also great, with unique flavors for their lattes like spiced guava and molasses. Both of these were super tasty, hot and iced! Located in Midtown this cute spot offers good music, fine food, and great ambiance. The mood is set with a soundtrack of classic hits playing in the background, and let's not forget about that bathroom, it's wild! I mean, I got a whole "duolingo" French lesson (the language of love) while washing my hands! Things like that definitely set this place apart from the rest. I was greeted warmly from the second I stepped in the door! While I waited for my party to arrive I sat at their bar area and ordered a Pineapple Mule served with a smile. Right off the bat I connected with James , one of the waitstaff who also happened to be serving our table. He was so the BEST! Hands down the most awesome waitstaff I've ever met. He made our time there special. I felt like I've known him for years, and he knew just how to connect with each person in our group! We all fell in love with him instantly! Tonight (likely due to the Valentine's Day crowd) the meal was pre-set for every guest. This meal included bread, salad, and Collette steak in their special sauce, with fries. There were dessert options as well, from which I chose a key lime pie. And an assortment of after dinner coffees. What blew my mind was that they came around and offered more food to us after finishing our first entree plate! I wasn't expecting that, and was pleasantly surprised. Parking for this location sits right behind the restaurant, a parking garage that is free. Because of the number of shops and restaurants around (an especially since this was Valentines weekend) parking can be at a premium during certain points of the day, so think about that when coming. There is also street parking available too. Seating for Medium Rare is offered both inside and outside (patio). The price average for this place is moderate, and folks can dress up or down. It is a beautiful place for a girls night out, date night, celebrations, brunch, etc! I had a wonderful time here! An amazing experience for sure. P.S. they give you Bazooka gum at the end of your meal! That brought back good memories for sure! This was my first time coming, and it won't be my last. This place is definitely worth checking out!
