Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! The space itself is lovely and versatile, providing a unique value proposition for the size of space and delivering on quality across the board. Liz and Nate were very helpful throughout the evaluation and planning process and Shane was a terrific day of partner in helping put on our party. It's also great to work with folks dedicated to the community in such a tangible way (they are a nonprofit and support other similar organizations as well). This venue is exceptional for so many reasons: not only is it a non-profit venue, but they light over 100 candles for your event and provide so many things that you would typically need to rent at other venues (chairs, tables, glassware, etc.). Also there are so many things for your guests to do in downtown Ballard if your wedding is mainly out-of-town guests like ours was. Their communication was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring, which meant everything when our family was overwhelmed with grief and trying to make difficult decisions. The venue itself is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. Somehow they managed to create a space that felt both respectful and comforting, exactly what we needed to gather and support one another. What amazed me most was how smoothly everything ran. Organizing a memorial could have been incredibly stressful, but the Georgetown team handled every detail so thoughtfully that it felt easier than planning a Sunday barbecue. They truly took care of everything. The food was wonderful, the service was flawless, and every staff member treated our family and guests with kindness and dignity. Although the price was a bit higher than other venues in the area, I'm glad I chose it. The event space is nice, spacious, and clean. The parking lot accommodates about 40 cars, with additional street parking available. I didn't end up using the kitchen, but it was large and even had an ice maker. There were plenty of tables and chairs provided, which made setup much easier. I toured both the Kent and Renton halls with Dustin, one of the managers, and he was very professional. Kyle, the other manager, was also great - he responded quickly to my texts both the day before and the day of the celebration. I would 100% recommend this venue for weddings, receptions, and other special events!
