Since my last post, the company's owner, Fernando, reached out to me after receiving my updated Yelp review. Although I had to continue reaching out to him and pushing to have him address the issues, he has finally remedied a portion of the concrete problem. In an attempt to remedy the problem himself, he sprayed a sealant onto the raised bond beam portion of the back yard; unfortunately, it made the issue worse. After attempts to remove the sealant, it was determined that it could not be removed. Fernando finally hired an external company to grind down the concrete and apply a new concrete layer to a knock-down finish (See photos). Unfortunately, he will not refinish the rest of the concrete that his company poured throughout my backyard, but at least he addressed the portion that he attempted to fix. That said, I commend Fernando for attempting to remedy the problem, and I do not harbor any ill will towards him or his company. That said, moving forward, I will make sure to get a signed contract with a manufacturer's defect clause for any future construction jobs I plan in the future.

FM Pools did an incredible job with our pool build! We couldn't be happier. This was the biggest purchase we've ever made other than buying our home, and an inground pool is such a permanent fixture, so we had a lot at stake on this build. We really wanted to make sure we did everything right the first time, so we're so happy we chose this contractor. They're really a family business run by honest people who care about the quality of the work they do. Juan, Fernando, and their whole team not only did beautiful work, they also stayed on schedule and their pricing for what they were offering and the materials we wanted wasn't matched by any other contractor we looked at. We also saw that they were good to all the guys working for them and treated everyone with respect. From their concrete team to their masonry guys, they were so meticulous with all their leveling and finishes. Our pool and deck are really an amazing work of artistry by master craftsmen. We highly recommend this contractor for anyone who wants a pool done right.

We had an excellent experience with FM Pool Construction. We did a complete overhaul of our backyard, which was in desperate need of updates and repairs. They replastered our pool (pebble finish), installed new concrete decking, replaced all the equipment (heater, pump, filter, autofill, and lights), and handled all the rain and water drainage around the backyard. Our backyard is on a hill, so flooding used to be a frequent problem--but with the new drainage, we've had zero issues even when storms came through. From start to finish, their communication was clear and consistent, and the quality of their work was outstanding. The team was flexible with on-site changes and provided quick, accurate updates and estimates whenever adjustments were needed. Everything was completed on time and with great attention to detail. Fernando and Juan continuously visited the site to ensure everything was progressing smoothly throughout the entire process. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional, reliable, and high-quality pool work.

Fernando was great!!! He went above and beyond to make us happy. I shopped for different quotes to build our pool and redesign our backyard but FM Pool's prices were the best. Fernando got my vision and came up with a great design for our backyard. He was also able to modify it to fit our budget. If there were any issues, he tried to fix them. We love our backyard and all our friends that come over to swim love how our backyard turned out. They built our pool, replaced our concrete with pavers, installed an insulated patio cover and replaced dirt in the back with turf. I highly recommend FM Pool Construction.

FM Pool Construction turned our backyard into paradise. Our pool was built over 20 years ago and was in dire need of a renovation. We highly recommend Fernando and his crew, Fernando provided the best price (we got 5 quotes), excellent quality, and amazing customer service. Fernando was transparent with every aspect of the project and does what he says he going to do. We toured one of his projects to get ideas and his work was top notch. I would also like to thank Mario for his expertise on paint and masonry work. Our backyard/pool turned out better than we ever imagined. It was good that we listened to Fernando's and Mario's recommendations. My family and I are so thankful for not only our beautiful backyard/pool but making the process easy and fast.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. This review is a little late since they finished in September, but we got a pool with a waterfall, spa, and a firepit from Juan and Fernando. We shopped around on price, and they were the best priced out of what we considered to be the top-tier companies. Their design was awesome and Fernando was patient and quick to respond with all of our feedback, and had a lot of great suggestions that I am really glad we went with. Once construction started, Juan and his team were all over it, and their guys were respectful and professional. My wife and I made a few last minute requests and changes that they helped us out without complaint, and stayed on budget and ahead of schedule the whole way. The one recommendation would be to be sure you talk to them about picking all of the tiles/pebble/coping/pavers at the beginning of the process as we only had a couple days to figure it out before the install, but we are so happy with how it turned out we have absolutely no complaints. We went with Tim Summerfield (their recommendation) for the fence, and it looks great. Once everything was done, we had a couple last requests to clean things up, and Fernando and Juan took care of every last detail, and we're nothing but friendly and professional the entire time. Our kids have been basically living in the hot tub ever since. To sum it up, there are probably sketchy places that you could find that are cheaper if you don't care how it looks, but if you want to make your backyard feel like a high-end resort for a great price, these guys are 100% the move. Smart, good pricing, responsive, respectful crews, and perfect execution. Thank you again, and happy holidays to you guys!

FM pools did a beautiful job with our pool. Completely transformed our backyard. Fernando and Juan were great , easy to work with and communication was open. They were patient and understanding with any changes and suggestions throughout the process. Was really nice to things progress so quickly, From 1st day of digging to end of construction, was less than 3 months, just in time for summer. Everyone from Ismael, Juan Jr and the crew were great and helped with understanding the pool construction and pool care process. Seamless transition from pool build to pool use. Not to forget competitive pricing. Our family has so much fun swimming in our pool! Thank you !

What a great experience we had with the whole team at FM Pool! We did a complete new build and even though it took some time to get everything situated with the city, once we were ready they started excavation within days of receiving the permit! I've heard of contractor horror stories and that was a huge reason it took us such a long time to make a final decision. I had a set budget and they worked with me to not exceed it. Carlos re-assured me that the team would be great to work with and most importantly communicative and attentive. And they were just that! I expressed my need for being in "the know" at all times and that is exactly what I received! Any time I had a question Juan and Fernando were a text away and replied within minutes. Their team was hardworking, efficient and most importantly careful with our property! They met every deadline and finished on time, actually ahead of schedule! I couldn't believe how fast they completed the entire project. I highly recommend FM Pool and appreciate their attentiveness and hardworking team!! They exceeded my expectations and trust in them, and for that I am grateful! Okay.. gotta go enjoy my awesome new pool!

I highly recommend FM Pool Construction. They have a great team. Fernando and Juan, along with their entire team, their diggers, plumbers, electricians, masonry and tile guy, shotcrete team, plaster team, and acid wash team provide quality work and great customer service. Fernando and Juan's recommendations for the vision I had for my pool were very professional and my family and I are very happy with the final results. Their pricing was within my budget. He came recommended by a coworker, I have people who have shared the cost for their pools with other companies, and they paid more and got less compared to what I got. Even though my city gave us a hard time with the pool-built permit for dumb stuff, Fernando was extremely patient and worked above and beyond on every minor detail of the plans to get permit approval. Once permits were approved by the city, the construction process went by so fast, smooth, and stress-free. This is a late post, as my pool was built back in the middle of the summer, but their timing was great as we still got to enjoy our pool for two weeks in the September heat waves. Now we are enjoying the spa and can't wait for the heat to return. Thank you, FM Pool Construction, Fernando, Juan, and everyone at FM Pool Construction.

Cannot be happier with FM Pool Construction, Fernando, Juan and his team are amazing at what they do. Finished our pool so quickly and professionally. From start to finish they were attentive to every detail and transformed our dirt back yard to a paradise! From the pool to our patio and decking we are extremely happy with the end result and FM POOL did it all! Definitely go with them if you are thinking of a pool they are professional at what they do!

Be sure to click all of the 8 photos I uploaded. You have to see the after pics, our pool/backyard looks fabulous now!! We had our pool renovated and we highly recommend FM Pool. Our pool looks so beautiful now. It only took his team four weeks to redo our pool, and we were on vacation and out of the country for two of those weeks! Talk about being able to trust a contractor! What we had done - replaced plaster with "pebble tech", added a Baja shelf, replaced all the tile, upgraded the spa to an infinity edge spa, upgraded pool equipment/automate controls, put new lighting, added new paving and fixed the slope (for drainage) on the end with fireplace and installed new drainage. My husband actually found FM Pools when he went to Leslie Pools in Rancho Cucamonga and he spoke to a guy who was buying chemicals for his newly renovated pool. So we found them by word of mouth. My husband got three different quotes while all the quotes were almost all the same, he said he had a gut feeling that he should pick Fernando. We also have his team doing the pool cleaning/maintenance to keep it beautiful. Fernando also referred a landscaper, Angel Landscaping, to do a low-maintenance/drought tolerant landscape installation on our slope. It was such a horrible slope to keep maintained and it looked horrible too. We had weeds and tree stumps removed, some drought-tolerant plants added and 23 hedges for privacy. And yes, lots of rocks. It looks great! When we bought this house a few years ago we weren't fans of the yard and we knew we would have to have some work done to it. We love our backyard now. Both Fernando/FM Pool and Angel Landscaping are very trustworthy and do excellent work!
