Hunan Bean Curd
Steve A.

Flying Dragon is another Chinese place in Fairborn. It's better than you can imagine. You may have nightmares about the concept. It's a Chinese place and it has a drive thru. Really, though it usually takes a long time. It obviously used to be a Taco Bell. It's apparent from the colors in the dining room and the newer Taco Bell close by. They found a new use for the place. It's funny a place like this exists. Yet here they are, getting customers to come in willingly. In fact, there's several Chinese restaurants with drive thrus in Ohio. This is one of them. It usually takes about the same time to make as it would going on. The food probably takes about 10 minutes or more usually. I had the Hunan Bean Curd. This is about $7 for the lunch portion. It was a large amount of food. The tofu was good, while some of the vegetables tasted kind of old. This is good for drive thru Chinese. It's cheap, so what do you expect? This is still better than Panda Express shit.

I eat here every time I work nearby. Lunch special is $5.75 including drink and they have a drive-through. Best moo goo gai pan anywhere!

Beef with Broccoli and fried rice

We were honestly not expecting much of this place because of the rating on here and the fact that Chinese food has been pretty disappointing in this area. It was surprisingly delicious. I ordered the ribs with House fried rice, and my husband ordered the beef and broccoli with fried rice. We also had the egg drop soup which deserves five stars because it was very good. Did I mention they have a drive thru? Interesting and convenient!

Chicken and vegetables with white rice and an egg roll

To be honest, my favorite thing about this restaurant is the drive thru. LOL! They are fast and the food is always fresh and hot. I usually get vegetable fried rice or vegetable lo mien and they both come with a good amount of veggies that aren't overcooked. I have also had the chicken and vegetables - it was good...no yucky parts in the chicken. The egg rolls are good, but can be greasy. Overall, this is my go-to Chinese place for take out.

I tired this place 3x hoping for a better outcome given the good reviews...each time was as disappointing as the last. This last time has solidified that I will never order here again and I hope no one does to avoid my experiences. They need to fix up their food and service. I ordered the Honey wings and got a plate of broken small pieces of wings. If I pieced the clearly cut pieces together I would have had about two small complete wings. It was supposed to be 12 pcs wings. Didn't know how literal the order would be. I tried eating the small broken pieces but couldn't avoid the scrapnel of bone surrounding the chicken meat. Horrible!!! Who does that?.you can save your money on wings while I never spend a dime on your food. How inconsiderate and false advertising to give scraps of wings instead of actual wings. Wish there were negative stars

This is what they call roast pork chow mein! Only 6 little pieces of pork mixed with a garden of veggies and sad excuse for pork fried rice.

Chicken pad thai had 0 chicken or peanuts. Wrong noodles were used. Literally an 8 year old boy works the counter.

The food was ok, we had carry out; but I was really not impressed for the price we paid. Good service.

A hidden gem in Dayton, of all places. I haven't had many Asian restaurants of any kind that tasted…read moreauthentic in Dayton, but this is one of the few. The noodles are actually made in-house and have a lovely texture. I got the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and was definitely not disappointed. The broth is light, but full of flavor at the same time. It is truly very comforting on a cold winter night. I think the beef slices on there are a bit tough, but it's not too big of an issue. The portion sizes are actually crazy. I got the regular size and could finish maybe just half to 2/3 of the noodles, along with a majority of the beef. I can't imagine how massive the large bowl would be... For health, I also ordered some stir-fried bok choy. This was stir fried well, but I'm not really sure what the flavor profile was supposed to be. Is it garlic? Is it spicy? I couldn't really place it. The prices are very fair for the quality of food they provide, and service throughout the night was decent. I will probably be back again, if I visit Dayton! This was husband's first time eating here while I've been here twice with friends. He must've enjoyed it because he ate all of the noodles and sipped half of the broth! I could only finish half and took leftovers home, which is typical. Serving size is generous and food is always temperature hot and flavorful. I try to order something different from the menu each time I visit. This is the first time I remembered to take pictures of what we ordered. Food smells and looks so good I forget .

I have eaten Chinese food for years and have NEVER tasted anything like this. We paid over $50 for our food coming from out of town and the best thing was warm pop. They need to use fresh food. Service was not good because we came into restaurant and it took over 5min to get service because the woman was conversing with cook and no one else was in the restaurant. The dining room was closed which I understand with the food we received. Needless to say we will NOT be returning and will tell others of our experience. New Great Wall - As you can see, no egg in my "egg drop wonton soup". They gave me a wonton soup instead which is 30 cents less than the egg drop version.
