After my experience at pep boys, I never wanted to take my car anywhere again. Someone I know suggested this place so I went not really knowing what to expect. I can say the owner zack was so honest and kind. He explained why I wasn't passing my DMV inspection and helped me fix the problem, without it costing me $1000 like pep boys told me it would. I also told him I kept getting tickets because my license plate wasn't on my front bumper and he put it on FOR FREE. Pep boys wanted to charge me $60 just for that. I'd go here anytime for any thing related to your car. I travel from the Bronx just to see him. This place is disgusting and And I'm very disappointed. I have been to many different tire shop. And this place is the first one that make me set up an account to warn people not to go. Got a flat tire is flushing area and so I search on yelp see which one will be the best to fix it. And here I am to this shitty place !!!! I even asked the price ahead before fixing it, and one of the employee said to me $15 to fix the flat tire. After they done fixing it, and didn't put back my tire and ask me to pay first and said to I need to pay 25$. I'm like what???? You tell me 15$ to fix why u change the price and not letting me know in advanced??? They then bullshitting that they do some extra work and there's some misunderstanding . And will not release my car if I don't pay the $25 ... and that time I was in hurry. So I just paid and leave. After a few days, that same tire leaking again, went my friend store, and he tells me that the didn't fix it properly. read more

They get the job done and prices are fair for tire fixes. If you want alignment I have seen cheaper than $95 they charge (it's a front wheel drive so only front set of tires need to be aligned). So go somewhere else for alignments cause I have seen them for $45-60. I came by because sidewall of front passenger tire had a puncture. It needed to be replaced since no plug or patch would hold and it could blow out at higher speeds. Used tires are $45 on average and new tires from aftermarket manufacturers overseas (made in China) run $110. Reputable brands run $145 like the good year assurance brand and size I needed. The tires I originally had were rated for higher speed and load which are marked by the 91V, 91 for load rating and the V letter for speed rating of 149mph. These tires run $125 at Walmart and costco. Instead I got a 92T, which is a higher load and lower speed which is 118mph, but still exceeds my needs for this vehicle. Work was done quickly and I was in and out within 15 minutes. I also had my rear tires rotated to the front so the new tire ended up on the rear for $15 extra. All tire pressures were checked as added benefit. One thing to note for those having issues getting a new tire at any tire shop etc. You may be getting an unworn tire that has never been used, but tires degrade like plastic over time even if they don't get used. The manufacturers warranty of 5 years is set from manufacturer date of the tire usually printed on the side wall labelled DOT......WWYY where the set of 4 digits represent the week WW and year YY of manufacture. If it was made before the year 2000, it will be be marked by only three digits WWY format which means you shouldn't even bother purchasing. Something to take note of if you have tires installed at any chop shop/tire spot that are stated as new. A place like this may sell a new tire but if the manufacture date is not recent or within the year then your manufacture warranty will be reduced from the 5 years and while a proof of purchase of up to four years is honored by the manufacturer, you need to submit a proper receipt from the store you got it from which isn't provided here. Manufacturers usually warranty tires from defects up to four years from the date you purchased the tire when a proper proof of purchase is recorded and that may be due to stores in the tire sales business receiving updated inventory as old inventory gets moved out in timely fashion. However, this shop may be getting the old inventory from these stores and buys it at a discount due to the older manufacture dates or refurbished price and makes a profit by selling to the customer at retail cost with installation and balancing wrapped in there. however, you the purchaser may not be covered by the proof of purchase and only on the remainder of the manufacturer warranty will apply with the hand written receipt from this shop. It also doesn't help that the receipt has no details listed except for size and price paid. Otherwise repair service is decent at this shop. Owner tells it as it is and there is no bs. An additional note: I would have greater confidence if the worker secured the 5 nuts of my rim to the car with the air tool in a star pattern than in a circular pattern although he did go back over each nut to ensure it was tight. I give this place 3.5 stars for efficiency and promptness. read more

I read the good reviews online and decided to give them a try. I couldn't find a place after work to get my tire fixed. And since they closed at 8pm I decided to go here. I needed a patch since I had a slow leak on one of my tires due to a nail. I arrived and I was greeted and serviced right away. These guys did a great job. There was no wait. I was in and out within 15 mins or so. My tire got patched up and I was good to go. Happy with the service. So far so good with my tire. I will go to them again for all my tire needs. I took it to here and Zach inspected the car and did some basic work around clearing some lines and got the car working fine again. Guess how much he charged me? Nothing, absolutely nothing. The flat tire fix was done in a timely fashion. In the beginning I looked for tire replacement for a tire on my van was really in a bad shape and need to be replaced. Fortunately this store was open during holiday season, so I could go there for a tire repair. But the tire selection is limited to the less-known brands as opposed to ones I am familiar with, e.g. Goodyear, Michelin, etc. So I decided just to get a tire fix instead and went else where for new tires. read more

First time I had service on inspections at Flushing tires, everyone works here are very friendly and helpful, since my car had new battery, need to be running before the inspection, Zack is very patient to use small machine to check for few times until it is ready for inspection. This place is the WORST! I literally made a yelp account to warn others of the dangers of bringing your vehicle to this business. Granted if you need a quick patch they are quick and reasonably priced IF they manage to fix your patch in the first place. I had two low tires alerts on my BMW when I decided to stop by this place since I live nearby. The guy took care of me quick but told me that one of my tires was beyond repair and I had to get a new one, while the other one just needed a patch. He charged me $300 dollars for a run flat bmw tire which I KNOW is extremely overpriced but I took it because I had to drive a long distance the next day for work early in the morning and I couldn't afford to be late. He told me he would also repair the small hole in my second tire for 15 dollars. 3 days after I left, the tire that he was supposed to have "patched" began to say low tire again. I thought it might be the weather but 2 weeks down the line it is still showing low tire every 3 days!!! So I bring it to my normal mechanic who informs me that they SHREDDED my tire lock key most likely from using an air power tool too aggressively on my tires and now I have to buy a new tire lock set.
