Strawberry and tiramisu
Penney D.

Had such a great experience at Fluffy Fluffy in Elk Grove! My husband and I stopped by and tried the strawberry, Oreo, and tiramisu soufflé pancakes, and all three were delicious. They were fluffy--obviously--light, and perfectly sweet, and each flavor had something different to love. The strawberry was fresh and fruity, the Oreo was rich and indulgent, and the tiramisu was probably my favorite -- such a good combination of flavors! Everything was delicious and made for a fun dessert date. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area -- we'll be back to try more flavors!

Soufflé Pancakes: Finally Open! Grand opening: Sept. 18, 2026 Parking: Difficult since it shares parking spaces with other restaurants in the new complex, including the newly opened Barnes & Noble. Price: Premium for the portion size. Line: Long line, but moving pretty fast. Service: Friendly and efficient. The owners were walking around themselves to make sure customers were taken care of and happy. Seating: Limited indoor and outdoor seating. Cute decorations with lots of photo spots! Food: I tried their signature sweet soufflé pancakes with a yuzu drink. The pancakes were lightly sweet, but for me, the texture was more eggy than fluffy. I've had Japanese soufflé pancakes in other cities, so I was expecting them to be fluffier and a little bigger. The portion was also smaller than I expected for the price. The toppings are also more Westernized, with options like Biscoff and Oreos, compared with the more traditional matcha, red bean, or Hokkaido butter you often find with soufflé pancakes in Japan. If you order to-go, they give you a buzzer and call you when your order is ready. I made the mistake of ordering to-go, since soufflé pancakes are definitely better when eaten fresh. Overall, cute new spot with friendly service.

Still building their location.

So I finally was able to get in to this place and it wasn't crowded at all. The wife and I had finished dinner and decided to try this place after to get dessert this time and not as a meal. Parking in the Village mall is really bad so remember that. I had a spot from dinner and we walked over to this place. There were only 2 tables taken when we got there and no one in line to wait behind. Four staff members were standing around the counter. The place is cute and appealing set up. In the back were a love seat setup with some plushies. The tables were laid out with different amount of chairs at each table. Not very big so only like 6 tables. We ordered the strawberry souffle pancakes and a strawberry refresher drink. You pay and they gave us a number to put on our table. They called my name after a minute to get my drink. It was a burst of flavor and a little tinkly I liked it. We waited 25 minutes for the souffle. It looked great but didn't really wiggle like I thought it should of. So I cut into it and it wasn't like a souffle pancake should be. It was a little dense not airy and light like it should of been. I think it was either overcooked or was not folded over like the souffle should of been. I was totally disappointed. It tasted like the Chinese strawberry short cake. which I could of gotten an entire cake for the same price. Oh well. I know they were soft open for almost a month. Not busy and they came out with this . Oh well. I might come back again in a few more months. who knows.

I was very excited to try this place because we don't get many fluffy pancakes like this in EG. However our experience here felt very disappointing. The only good thing about this place is their workers are very sweet. The pancakes were about $16-17, which seems normal since they aren't common in EG. However I was under the impression that the pancakes would be fluffy, as the name claims. They came out slightly thicker than normal pancakes, but aren't really fluffy or jiggly at all. They were also so small, my party thought the order had only one pancake in the box. Not sure if it's because they lack sufficient help or if they just haven't mastered the pancakes yet, but the pancakes were super small and stiff. They were also super busy when we came so maybe they turned our pancake a bit too late. We didn't have seats so I told them it's ok to pack ours to-go, so not sure if that also affected quality.

We arrived several weeks after their official grand opening, and the line was out the door. Once in line a lady who worked there and came out and told us the wait for an order would be about 90 minutes, due to the heavy volume of guests at the moment. So we waited about 20 minutes or so to order and order to do. I ordered a Raspberry Refreshers, and my birthday order their strawberry pancakes. The drinks was good and had fresh Raspberry puree in it. The pancakes were ok, and had a mild egg flavor to them, almost as if you were eating an omelet. A very odd taste for me, but the high egg content is probably what they need. In order to make their Fluffy pancake so high in volume. Overall: The line everyone complains about it based on the popularity of the new location, which I can't fault them for. The pancakes (I tried so far) weren't really my thing, but maybe a different flavor might hide the egg aftertaste a little more. So I'd be willing to go back and try the Cookie N Cream or Tiramisu options. The Raspberry Refresher wasn't bad either, and I liked the fresh fruit Purée they used.

Visited today and was excited because there wasn't a line. Ordered and was told it would take 20 minutes for the pancakes to be done. They offered to call me when it was done. 5/5 stars on their customer service. I roamed the area and missed their call. By the time I realized and went back, they were redoing my drink. I was very impressed. I ordered the regular pancakes, good but it is a bit pricey for my taste. Great service! Hopefully as time continues they can get their pancakes out a bit faster.

The food is great! The service was excellent but there is wait time for orders given the pancakes are soufflé like I get it. But worth the wait. The ambiance is nice chic but small not a lot of seating inside. When you go be patient it will take time but you will be rewarded with yummy food. From line to order to getting food about 1 hour 15 min.

We came here yesterday, right when they opened at four, so we didn't wait long! We got the tiramisu fluffy pancakes and the Nutella ones. Both were really good. We didn't really know what to expect because we've never had them before. They aren't as sweet as we expected; it's more of an eggy texture. The pancakes themselves were super fluffy and moist. We also got the fluffy latte. My husband loved it because it wasn't excessively sweet. I wasn't a big fan because I like excessively sweet stuff. lol The prices were quite high for how much we got. It's definitely a once-in-a-while kind of treat. The restaurant is small, but they did a good job making it look cute!

Yummy! So me, hub, and kiddo came here and the door was unlocked, so we walked in and waited by the register along with other people. The gal came out from the back and told everyone they were closed. So I would recommend an open and closed sign so people know. The lady said it was left unlocked to allow for other patrons to leave after finishing their food. Anyways they opened back up at 4pm. We arrived at 4:30 and they tell us it will be an hour long wait. The lady said there was a line as soon as they opened back up at 4 pm. We decided to order anyways. 20 minutes later our food came out. Yay! Earlier than expected. So I dive into the eggs Benedict and it was pretty good. The salmon gave the dish the salty balance to the sweetness provided by the fluffy pancake base. It was different, but I would order again. Next were the sides. Tater tots were crispy on the outside with potato goodness on the inside. The salad had a vinaigrette base that gave it a significant tanginess that I just know hubby would not appreciate. The produce seemed fresh, so in total this dish was a solid 4 stars. The next dish, the Signature is light in sweetness, not cloying. The cream fraiche is light and airy with light amount of sweetness as well. If you want a heavy sweet, there is syrup on the side, but even that is not crazy sweet. The fruits are fresh as well. I would definitely recommend this place. I would not travel 100 miles for it (which I am prone to do for the "to die for" food places). But this place is definitely a nice place to go to if it is nearby. The place is clean, bright, and with pop music playing in the background (not lame cover songs). So that was nice.

First visit here and I was very pleased. I loved the the yellow-themed interior! The occupancy may be low, but the seating is comfortable and aesthetic. Couches are cozy. The pancakes are good, but I look forward to try the other dessert options like the Basque cheesecakes, croffles, etc., each with various flavors. There are a good selection of savory items and matcha and espresso lattes as well. After trying a pancake and a latte, the trend is "not to sweet!" Will come back to try more!

Yummy! Everything looked and tasted amazing! This was my first visit to Fluffy Fluffy, and I'm so glad one has opened in Elk Grove. They are currently in their soft-opening phase, with the grand opening planned for September 18. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I can already see this becoming a big hit with the local community. Located right next to Shake Shack, Fluffy Fluffy offers something completely different: light, indulgent Japanese-style soufflé pancakes, croffles, and surprisingly great savory breakfast options. Here's what we ordered: Signature Fluffy Pancakes Two incredibly light, airy pancakes topped with fresh whipped cream, banana, blueberries, and strawberries. They were soft, flavorful, and so good! Signature Sweet Croffle A smashed croissant topped with fresh whipped cream, banana, blueberries, and strawberries. The croffle added a delicious buttery, crisp texture that paired perfectly with the fruit and cream. Bacon Breakfast Sandwich I honestly did not expect this to stand out as much as it did--but I was wrong. I chose pancakes as the "buns," with a fried egg, American cheese, and layers of bacon inside. It was delicious and better than any breakfast sandwich I've had before. It also came with golden-brown tater tots and a spring-mix salad with cherry tomatoes, served with a spicy yuzu vinaigrette. The savory flavors and unique pancake-bun concept made this one of my favorite items. Service was excellent! The staff is friendly and attentive. They are in the learning stage, so I can imagine they will be quite polished by the Grand Opening. Fluffy Fluffy is a welcome and unique addition to Elk Grove. Whether you are in the mood for a sweet treat, brunch, or something different from the usual breakfast sandwich, this place is definitely worth trying. I can't wait to go back after the grand opening! Finally got to try Fluffy Fluffy and we were able to dine in. It's a cute spot with limited seating so I would recommend coming early to grab a spot and avoid long waits! We did family style and tried both their sweet and savory dishes. I enjoyed both the French toast and the original pancake. It was very fluffy and not overly sweet. The avocado and egg croquet dish was also very good. It's a good breakfast/ brunch place, albeit on the pricier side.

We came on a Sunday at 1pm after the first month of their opening, and this place was still packed! Fear not, many folks are ordering take out, so the line goes by quickly. Staff were very busy, and I appreciate that many of them were multitasking. They shared it'll take 30-40 min for the food to be prepared, so it helps to keep a benchmark, especially if you're coming hungry. Seatings are limited to 6-10 tables indoors. As two, we ordered a savory and sweet dish. The Eggs Benedict had a fun spin with pancakes (or croffle) as the base instead of a biscuit or English muffin. The Signature Fluffy Pancakes were also so good! Loved that it wasn't too sweet, and the cream and pancakes were so soft and fluffy.

Oh my, the French toast is a huge portion and beautifully presented with a side of whipped cream and strawberry compote on top. It's not as sweet as it looks (perfect for my taste) and the toast had crispy edges. Sausage was good but needed to be cooked just a bit longer, so you get that snap when you bite it. Scrambled eggs were good too. My husband got the chorizo burrito with tater tots on the side. He liked the burrito but said it did have little kick to it. The tots were fried to perfection and not oily. My brother ordered the "Dad's Mash Up," all kinds of stuff (breakfast meats and cheese) served on top of tots and covered in gravy. It was a pile of food, no complaints from my bro. Service was great and welcoming as soon as we walked in. No wait on a Wednesday morning, but I imagine there is on the weekends. I let our server know it was my brother's birthday, and after we were finishing up our meals, they brought him a complimentary small plate of the strawberry French toast! That was a fantastic way to end his celebratory breakfast. My only complaint, which is more of a suggestion, is to have flavored cream available besides half and half. The coffee is strong and delicious and our cups were never empty. Thank you, Jamie and staff, for a wonderful and yummy first visit. We'll be back!

Saw the same waitress giving checks and to go boxes to nearby customers that were asked after me. Our waitress refused to make eye contact with us. It was extremely awkward for no apparent reason. After some time, I asked another worker for 3 to go boxes instead. She appeared confused. She asked if we already paid, I said yes - I'm waiting for my change and it's been over 15 minutes. She came back after dropping the boxes for me to verify my order ticket, left and came back to give me my $27 change. Her body language appeared flustered and irritated and said some smart comment under her breath. She did not apologize for her or her coworker's behavior/attitude nor acknowledged the $27 tip I gave her for $70 worth of food. That's over 35% worth of tip that was not deserved. Instead, she went to the back, which was directly behind my table to gossip and said very inappropriate comments about me to her coworkers! I was shocked and appalled from all the rude comments she said about me. My family (even my 14 year old daughter) overheard it and was also shocked from the unprofessionalism. This occurred on May 2, 2026. The waitress and the other worker are both young females in their late teens or early twenties. As an ongoing customer for many years, this has never once happened to me. Employees here were always so kind and sweet; but not today.
