Weekends are usually busy but we arrived at the perfect time. Love that you can bring your dogs because we couldn't stop saying how cute and well-behaved these dogs were. For sitting in patio area, seats and tables were clean. Our waitress was friendly and made sure to check on us. Food was tasty especially that I love crab cakes benedict. I only wish a different batter was used for crab cakes . Not sure if panko was used but I think using original ingredients for the crab cake would make it better. And as an fyi, the potatoes are more like fries. They are good but just in case you're looking for breakfast potatoes or hash browns, that's not this. Its my first time here at this little breakfast/ brunch spot. The inside was opened with table seating and a small bar seating area. When entered, we were greeted right away and seated. The worker appeared nice and served us quickly. This place have a variety of breakfast ans lunch items such as omelettes, crepes, Benedict and pancakes and French toasts and more. There was a variety of drinks from coffee, cappuccino, margaritas to mimosa and more. It was an early morning however I ordered sangaria and my friend got the bloody Mary drink. I ordered there savory "shasta" crepe that contains sausage, scrambled eggs, jack cheese, avocado and bell pepper, topped with jalapeño sour cream, with a side of potatoes and green salad. The crepe was light and well seasoned to my taste. My friend ordered their Americano which contains two eggs, potatoes & bacon with toast. Overall, the food and drinks were good. The caffe didn't score very high with the family. We stopped in for breakfast. Took a bit to get seated on a Saturday morning, that's to be expected. I opted for an omelet and my family got their various versions of the triple breakfast. No one really came back to the table until we started looking around for our server. I like that they have a counter which is quicker than the tables. I like the outdoor seating option as well. I feel if you upcharge for an item, it should be worth it. The pancakes were thick but not completely cooked in the center. I'm not sure if real eggs are used or liquid egg alternative. I had leftovers from my omelet, which was a nice portion. Our experience here was okay. I thought the coffee would be better given the name, but my cappuccino had cinnamon sprinkled on top and tasted different than I'm used to. It was just alright. Although I love this cafe and dogs, the owners need to take serious consideration of how many animals they allow on the patio. after sitting on the patio for one hour, I witnessed several dogs fighting and there was non stop barking the entire time. Once again, I love dogs! but people who cannot control their animals should be asked not to bring them again. it is a disturbance to customers trying to enjoy the atmosphere as well as a danger to those who bring well behaved dogs to sit out. read more

We came here on Labor Day Monday morning, and the place was already packed. Thankfully, we beat most of the crowd and got seated right away for a party of two. We sat outside, and luckily our table had some shade. I was even tucked behind one of the patio's tree displays, which made it more comfortable. The service staff was friendly, though there was a small mix-up with our order. We ordered the Denver omelet with two sausage links on the side, but instead, the sausages were chopped up and folded into the omelet. That wasn't what I intended to try since I wanted to taste the original Denver. The server did offer to take it back, but we didn't want to wait another 15 minutes, so we just kept it. He later brought us the two sausage links on the side as well. I ordered the Shasta savory crepe, which was delicious. We also really enjoyed the fries, they were perfectly done and paired great with my dish. The only downsides were that our waters weren't refilled and there was no ice in them, which made it tougher since it got hotter while we ate. I know it's not easy to run a restaurant these days, and they seemed short-staffed or just really busy, so I understand. Caffee Latte is a very comfortable and casual local cafe. I came here for brunch with some friends, and we had a great time. There was a small wait when we arrived on a Sunday around 10am. We were seated at a taller table and squeezed in with 3 people. We were able to fit our 3 plates and drinks as well as a few presents taking up some space. Their potatoes are amazing, they have a slightly curl to it and a nice crispy texture. The food was good and I even had some leftovers for lunch the next day. I liked the latte I ordered as well. We were pleasantly surprised with the coffee, breakfast selection and customer service. When we first walked in we were greeted and got seated right away. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We've eaten here almost every day this week (6 out of 7 days) and I've eaten something different every day. I've tried over 28 menu items and I love them all. It makes narrowing my choice down to one very difficult. Sometimes I have to ask the servers to choose for me. It's a family atmosphere here -- like "Cheers" -- "where everybody knows your name." Very hearty breakfast and attentive service! It was so comfortable inside and there was a good amount of people there at 9am on a Sunday. I got the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and the eggs were cooked exactly how I like. It was my first time seeing the fries shaped like this. Like a wedge half spiral. It was slightly too salty but still so good! In the beginning, the overall flavors of the corned beef hash were good but towards the end, the flavors got really overwhelming! For those of you that happen to be in the Greenhaven/Pocket neighborhood of Sacramento and are on the hunt for an above average breakfast/brunch/lunch experience, I highly encourage giving "Caffe Latte Restaurant" a try. Located in the Riverlake Village Shopping Center at the corner of Greenhaven Dr/Pocket Rd, this family owned-and-operated business has been serving this part of town dating back to the mid-2000's. Best of all, they are open 7 days a week from 7am-3pm while carrying a generous variety of breakfast options (skillets, benedicts, French toasts, omelets, crepes, pancakes, waffles, etc.) as well as salads, soups, sandwiches, and burgers. I came here with my lady during the late morning of Sunday 1/5/2025 at around 11:45am. Due to the vast amount of neighboring businesses surrounding this restaurant, parking can be quite a bit challenging. Upon entry, it was a packed house with at least 15-20 tables being occupied by customers. We waited roughly 5-6 minutes to be seated and fortunately we got a seat right by the window near the front. As for the layout, this place is quite spacious and inviting with a very generous amount of room to move around. They also offer a small outdoor patio area for the more comfortable Sacramento mornings and afternoons. Our server brought out two iced waters and they were iced cold; just the way I like it. We then went with our drinks as I ordered a "Strawberry Italian Soda" while she went with an "Orange Mimosa". As for our entrée selections, I went with their "California Crepe"' this consisted of smashed avocados, bell peppers, tomatoes, sautéed onions and cheddar cheese topped with salsa fresca and jalapeño sour cream. My lady ordered their "Americano" which was two eggs (cooked over easy) and sourdough toast. Both of our meals come equipped with home potatoes (which resembled crispy twisted skins). Even though they were very busy, both our plates arrived in less than 10 minutes. I will say that my California Crepe was absolutely delicious and very filling. This one is a huge favorite to the vegetarians as all of the ingredients really made this dish shine. I particularly loved the potatoes as those had the perfect amount of seasoning in them. During our visit, one of the owners Fadi Tashman asked how our food was. I said "it was amazing and also mentioned it was our first time dining here". As we were ready to pay for our meal, Fadi brings us a little surprise which was a complimentary "Golden State" crepe! This "dessert" crepe consisted of strawberries, bananas, Nutella, chocolate drizzle, and powdered sugar. I gotta tell everyone, this was heavenly and the perfect way to end our brunch. All in all, "Caffe Latte Restaurant" was as good as it gets in every way possible. The warm welcome we received from the owner as well as the young female hostesses and servers all did a stellar job in taking care of my lady and I from start to finish. Great service, wonderful ambiance, above average quality food, and very decent prices made this place 2 thumbs up in my book. My rating, a unanimous five stars. read more

I hadn't been here in a while--last time, I came with someone who didn't want to spend much on breakfast, so after seeing the prices, we ended up going elsewhere for basic eggs and sausage. This time, I returned solo and was pleasantly surprised. While they didn't have a simple eggs-and-sausage option on the menu, I'm on a keto diet and asked if they could accommodate--and they were more than happy to! I added mushrooms and onions, and the result was a delicious, satisfying plate. Their sausage is excellent--nicely spiced--and everything was cooked perfectly. My tablemates ordered crêpes and absolutely loved them. They were also curious about the unique side potatoes--cut thick like oversized fries and possibly roasted. A fun twist. The coffee, however, was underwhelming. I usually prefer a dark roast, and my Americano tasted quite watery. Service was fine--nothing exceptional, but efficient enough--and the restaurant wasn't too crowded for a Sunday morning, which was a plus. It was a Monday morning and we woke up late. Don't worry, it was a holiday, so we didn't miss work haha. We were looking for a place that still served breakfast and that was new to us. We searched Yelp, and stumbled upon Caffe Latte. It's located in a plaza with a few other restaurants and a gym. It's nestled in the corner by some trees. Parking was easy, so that's definitely a plus. As we entered, we were greeted by the workers. We got a window seat and started looking over the menu. They offered both Lunch and Breakfast. But we opted for breakfast of course. All our dishes were awesome. The original pancakes were almost like the Japanese Fluffy pancakes, which was a nice surprise. The potatoes were very good. This place is a Sacramento Gem. Not only was the food great with reasonable prices, the customer service and management is what defines this restaurant. One thing stood out is when I thanked the manager for doing an amazing gesture surprised bday cheer to my wife on her bday and gave us a complimentary dessert. He didn't have to do it but insisted in welcoming us to his restaurant since it's our first time. Well anyway, he said, " it's not me, it's because I have a wonderful staff." Of its not for them, I wouldn't be were I am. Somewhere along those line. And this review is for the staff and management, very caring and like I said, they make you really feel welcome and part of the community. This is a gem in the Pocket-Greenhaven neighborhood. Loved the coziness of the café, as it makes a great location to meet up with friends. When you first walk in, you're greeted immediately and seated. I ordered the California savory crepe. It came with salad and fried potatoes. The salad had a vinaigrette dressing, which was very appetizing. I love the sweet and tanginess. Also, loved the potatoes as they taste it as if they were twice fried. Delicious goodness. The crepe was on the bland side. This was surprising to me, given how many different ingredients were stuffed into the crepe, which was the reason for my selection in the first place. Only one little gripe though. My friend and I asked for refills of our coffee and water, and it took two reminders to two different waitresses before our drinks were refilled. Found this amazing locally owned restaurant in the pocket area and I highly recommend. Went for the first time for breakfast and was blown away by the service and food. The food was fresh and made to order and it was absolutely delicious. The service by Natalie and Kristin was awesome. Very professional and kind. They both were extremely friendly, nice, sweet, cordial and knowledgeable. They went out of the way to make you feel at home. Wow. Outstanding customer service!! Last but not least --the owner was extremely hospitable. He really understands the restaurant business and how to take care of customers. I had the Eggs Benedict & the sauce was not traditional hollandaise sauce, the ham was basically lunch meat ham, and I ordered a side of bacon that has absolutely no flavor. Reheated food, cold uncooked English muffins, nothing is fresh... fast food would be a better option. We have so few options in the pocket that it is a constant disappointment that this place is as bad as it is. And with the exception of one incredibly lovely waitress, the service is awful as well. Zero redeemable qualities. Keep coming on yelp hoping that someone says that they changed ownership, in the hopes that the quality will increase, because this is just a sad display of a restaurant, and a waste of space for a nice neighborhood. The Asian chicken salad stood out with its fresh ingredients and great balance of flavors. I loved the dressing. Unfortunately, the white mocha was a bit of a letdown--it wasn't hot and lacked the richness I am use to when having a white mocha and in a coffee cup not a glassware. I had an opportunity to speak with the owner and he did the best he could give the fact that a party of 40+ arrived and it seemed each patron from this party had ordered and paid their own entree, at the cashier, which is a nightmare for the cashier and wait staff at any restaurant to handle. I thought the serving was a bit small, but I enjoyed it. I had the Veggie Platter. The potatoes were crisp and pretty much tasted like fries. So, even if trying to eat semi-healthy, options would be pretty limited here. All the toppings did go well together though. Members of my family have eaten here over the years, and they've had some not-so-great experiences with the food. Because of this, I knew I wouldn't order an omelet here because apparently it can oftentimes be served swimming in oil.
