The food at this place is fantastic! There were six of us, and we all ordered something different and then sampled from each other's meals. I had the Shrimp protein with the Sichuan Green Beans, Snap Peas, and Red Chile Glazed Sweet potato sides. The Sichuan Green Beans and Snap Peas side has red chili crunch, crumbled tofu, cashew, and cilantro. The Red Chile Glazed Sweet potato side is made with bok choy & sesame seeds. Both of these sides were exploding with freshness and flavor! The place is spotless, and the workers are very friendly and attentive. We will come back to this place when we are in the Boulder, Colorado, area again. read more

I am updating my review since I received a gift card. I ordered the salmon with 2 sides- cauliflower "risotto" and red chili glazed sweet potato with hot tea came out to about $21.00 plus a tip. The salmon did not have any seasoning on it, the cauliflower that was so delicious before Covid, is now salty and not tasty, the sweet potatoes were overly salty. Sad as I used to enjoy having Meetups with my group here before we would go to the movies. read more

Popped in here while cruising neighborhoods in advance of a likely relocation to the Denver area from out of state. We were searching for a place to eat where we could get a good salad and other healthy-ish options after too many days of road trip calorie bombs. Hahaha. We really liked this place and will be in regularly once we have gotten settled. Great menu selection, nicely varied beverage options, including beer and wine, and all the food appears to be very high quality for such a casual place. The staff are all cheerful, super friendly, and very helpful, which just makes it twice as good! It's not inexpensive for a semi-counter-service spot, but it didn't seem outrageous, either. You order and pay at the counter, then grab your own non-booze bevs and utensils, and take your number-sign to a table of your choosing. The excellent patio (some covered, some not), decent portions, high quality ingredients, and lovely staff, all make it worth the price. That day's soup (a minestrone with quinoa and white beans) was full of veg and very tasty. As a huge fan of soups, I could've eaten a double order of just that for my entire meal. Yum. I also had the chopped veg salad with grilled chicken add on. It was perfectly fresh, with a nice combo of vegetables, a generous amount of tasty chicken, and a delicious not overly sweet miso dressing. A light but filling dish. Will def get this one regularly. Husband had an enchilada "bowl" which was really just a plate of enchiladas. It was good but not amazing. Probably wouldn't get it again. He also got the avocado hummus with pita, and that was really quite good. We both had wine, which were both of decent quality, and reasonably priced per pour. If you want fresh healthy homemade style food, love patios as much as we do, and don't mind paying a bit more for it, give this one a shot. read more

Good food and nice staff but the place always feels filthy. They need to wipe their inside and outside tables down more frequently. And their bathrooms need more consistent attention. And for some reason they blast their music volume so loud. read more

I frequent this location, and I've had multiple occasions where I've had to send the food back. The location in Cherry Creek is super on point, so when I come to Boulder I can tell a huge difference between the two locations with the quality of food. Today, I ordered salmon, rice and sweet potatoes since they were out of about 5-7 items on the menu. Not my normal thing to order. I sat outside for a while waiting for my food. Ended up needing to take my food to go, and asked if it was still possible to get it to go. They confirmed they hadn't even started my order yet. I had already been waiting for about 15+ minutes, and then had to wait another 15 or so minutes. They were not busy. Get home to eat, and the rice and salmon are way overcooked. Chewy. Food completely cold, not the slightest bit warm. Can't eat almost half the rice because it's so hard and chewy. Wasn't able to send it back this time since I had it to go. But, this will be the 3rd to 4th time I have been displeased with the food. Never once had any issues at the Cherry Creek location and the food is always fresh and delicious, so hoping maybe Boulder can take some notes and step it up. I hadn't been in months because of the last experience I had there, so probably not likely I'll return to this location. Boulder is stacked with options luckily. However, the person who took my order was very nice, so atleast there is that. read more

Great adult food. Love all the bowls and salads (highly recommend the lemon muffins. They're legendary) but my one feedback would be to have a better kids menu. Their mac & cheese has very sharp cheese in it so the kids won't eat that. I'm really nothing else that's not a little bit exotic. Need some plain food for the kids. :) read more

Love Flower Child! I'm definitely a repeat customer. This is one of my favorite places to come to have a heathy meal. My favorite thing to get so far is the 3 veg sides entree. I've gotten the Mother Earth bowl as well, and it's yummy too. read more

After a disappointing Flower Child experience in Denver, I tried the Boulder location and left much happier. I ordered the Glow Bowl with tofu which happily satisfied me. It's a warm salad of shredded cooked veggies and sunflower seeds. With squeezed lime over it, it's both refreshing and comforting at the same time. My mom ordered kale and Brussels sprout salad which we all LOVED. The dressing, which we were told was just a simple apple cider vinaigrette, was absolutely delicious. The combination of grapefruit, sliced grapes and roasted almonds was perfect. Try as I might, I cannot recreate this salad as well!! My sister got a steak bowl and both my dad and her said the steak was high quality and well cooked. Overall the Boulder location was much, much nicer of an experience-- the service was prompt, very friendly, and efficiently and politely checking up on us. My mom and I also enjoyed the pineapple ginger kombucha on tap-- so crisp and scrumptious. read more

Very green Had the turkey Cobb. Not much turkey that I was able to find in the salad. Swimming in dressing and packed with pickled onions. If your into vegan this is your place and those that are not it's still going to be ok. This is a salad chain restaurant and you will feel like you had a healthy meal when you leave. read more

The food was amazing and service was great!! It was a clean and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Great healthy clean eating choice in Boulder Colorado. Easy to locate in a strip mall with ample safe parking. They could've done a better job clearing the sidewalks of ice and snow. Dining room is moderately loud and very close seating so private conversations aren't really private. Lots of food choices for everyone. Both of us had the Cobb salad. It was delicious with a very generous serving at a good price. Serve yourself ice tea and lemonade. Real silverware and dishes used thank you. Restaurant was clean. Bathrooms are very nice. And servers were working hard almost rushing- running around the restaurant. read more

If I lived in Boulder, I'd probably be a regular here for lunch. Health conscious and sustainable eatery in a beautifully casual and open space. Indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is thoughtful and creative with so many interesting flavor combos. There are apps, salads, small plates, and bowls. The avocado hummus was definitely a standout. I had the organic kale salad with chicken and my mom had the glow bowl with salmon. Everything was delicious and fresh. Also, definitely get a seasonal lemonade, they're so good and super refreshing. read more

What a nice surprise. Met my Dad for lunch in Boulder and have been disappointed with our lunch options in the past. The Flower Child did not disappoint and the menu options were amazing and the service was amazing. read more

When in Boulder, I've now visited Flower Child on three occasions and clearly I keep returning because I enjoy the experience. I greatly appreciate the variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Getting an entree puts you somewhere between $12-$15 and it's a good amount of food that tastes great and has you properly full. The ambiance is really relaxed too. I've found myself enjoying a meal and either a good conversation or reading a book. It works very well for whatever the experience. Staff is kind and the vibe is just really good. Sometimes there can be an arrogance or too much of a hipster-dom to restaurants like this one but not the case with Flower Child! I've enjoyed it and I'll be back! read more

Amazing! Delicious! Fresh! Husband and I will be back. I had the Thai Dye Wrap while he enjoyed the Rebel Wrap.

Nice menu, but poor execution. Our rice was hard like rocks...inedible. The cucumbers were bitter, possibly due to the peel. Table had not been cleaned. I hope you have a better experience. read more

Flower Child is wonderfully healthy and tasty. I got a salmon bowl and Thai soup, both of which were flavorful and mostly cooked pretty well. I felt like the vegetables were a bit more cooked than I would have liked, and the presentation was a bit sloppy. These are small quibbles, though, for a place that prides itself on a wide variety of items that focus on healthy options and generally follows through. read more
