I usually only get gel manicures, but decided I wanted something special for the holidays. The ladies at Flo's are always amazing when it comes to mani/pedis but I was absolutely blown away with the fresh set I got from Flo. It was everything I hoped for! Highly recommend!!!

First and last time don't recommend. Had to spend 30 min after I got back removing dead skin and clear coat left all over my finger tips. Service: uses shared tools and cut me BAD, so beware if you're prone to skin infections or swelling - it is a risky other places use individual tool packets. It's for hygienic safety just in case but i haven't had someone cut me in a manicure in years until going here - that is unacceptable! 3 of my cuticles were butchered, still hurt, and so much dead skin was left on... technician didn't acknowledge what happened. Won't return! Also if you feel pain in a manicure speak up I'm so mad I assumed I was just being sensitive no I was bleeding in 3 places and it was burning. Polish: bad quality. The Essie wall colors were completely separated and unusable, so I went with OPI and it came out with air bubbles. one manicure came out with air bubbles dried in many places and the other pedicure polish dried really ridgy and bumpy. read more

I am so glad that I found this place. Flo and her staff are so friendly and amazing at what they do. Mine and my sister's manicures came out perfectly. I got a gel ($30) and my sister got regular ($10) and both manicures included great hand massages. The salon is very clean and well decorated and Flo (the owner) who did my manicure, is willing to make you happy (including mixing polishes for that perfect color that you want). First time customers receive a $5 gift card and you can join their rewards program for discounts and free services. Overall I am very happy and am already looking forward to coming back! read more

one of the worst pedicures i ever had. from start to finish my pedicure lasted 16 minutes. The girl didn't even scrub my feet. Really disappointed in the service. $28 for a 16 minute pedicure which wasn't relaxing or enjoyable at all. will never go back again read more

I checked this place out with my girlfriend and I would say this is the best nail salon in the area, hands down. The thing that separates Flo's from anyone else is their customer service: everyone is super friendly and they make sure that they go out of their way to pamper you. I just got a pedicure but they took care of me and made sure that I was taken care of. I highly recommend this place! read more

If I could give someone 0 stars I would! I tried this nail salon out because it was rated really well and I needed a new set and I was told on the phone I was being charged $45 for a new set. I originally made the appointment for "3" Pedicures, 2 new sets and 1 manicure. When I got there Flo said a new set was $60 which I was okay with, but then she asked me what shape I wanted and I said oval....I don't even know what shape she did...but it's not an oval shape! I paid $60 for something I could've just purchased in a box and glued on myself. She didn't even clean my cuticles and complained that I was 20 minutes late and said I never booked a pedicure appointment and she won't do mine and my sister's toes. I'm not sure why she has so many positive reviews!! I went to another place in Matawan (K Elite Nails) where they took me in right away and are so much cleaner and have the correct COVID procedures!!!! I'm disappointed and wasted $160 for nothing and she asked for a tip as well (the audacity)!!! read more

Ummm, so I really wanted to like this salon. Been bouncing around since the pandemic. Kathy and Flo very sweet and friendly. Unfortunately, my gel fill never stays. Always chips! Paying a fortune to have mani/pedi and nails last only a few days at best before they chip. They blame my nail shape. Been doing fills for 30 years! Never have I ever had chips after a day or so. Friends say to go back in to have them fixEd but that's not me. Won't go back. Oh, got NAIL FUNGUS after going there! Never had that either!!! Sorry. read more

I was very unhappy with the place I went to for my gel manicure - they were thick and not shaped well - and ridiculous in price .So based on so many nice reviews - I contacted Flo's and got lucky with an appointment for this afternoon what a difference . Love this place! salon is very clean and both ladies do a good job. Be sure to call ahead to make sure they have availability as it seems there are only two people working at the moment. Prices are comparable with other salons in the area, but the quality of work is much better! Their standard pedicure also includes hot stones, which is a nice touch. What a hidden gem! I always drove past this place on my way to work and wanted to stop by. I finally did and got my eyebrows done cost around $12 which is average in this area and the lady spent a good 15 mins on them. I was really happy. I ended up coming back two days later and got a manicure for only $10! Can't beat that price ! read more

This place is definitely my new one-stop shop for everything (gel manicures, pedis, and eyebrow waxing). The employees keep the salon well-maintained and it's super clean. There is also a cooler full of refreshments for all customers. I think everyone here does a great job being precise with your nails (and to me that's important!). I hate when someone is rushing to do my nails and they end up being poorly done, but that's never the case here. All the nail technicians will take their time to make sure you leave satisfied. Plus, the prices are fair given that they only use good nail products plus offer amazing service. Definitely worth it in my honest opinion. I love the special promotion going on right now as well. If you're a new customer to this salon, they'll give you a gift card for your next beauty service (whether it's for nails, waxing, or pedi).
