I went to TC for a manicure and a pedicure. I will never come back. My cuticles are all cut up, and one of them has a bacteria in it now, it's huge!! And my pedicure.. even worse. I have two large bumps on my toes from bacteria and getting cut open as well. If you want good service don't go here. This isn't the first time either. read more

Been going to TC nails for years just because Tom is friendly.. except for a few ladies including the wife they all lacks customer service skills.. all they are good at is only asking "what do want today" . I got a manicure/pedicure here the other day and it was great. However, I used the first time check-in coupon from yelp, 15% off. The owner would not accept the coupon and was very rude denying the coupons legitimacy. I would not return here again. My nails came out okay but I was not impressed with the service. I look young and so did the two other girls coming in. They kept asking me if I was in high school and if I wanted to "sit with my friends" after my appointment when I had no clue who those girls were. It was very annoying they kept associating me with these strangers. I also felt like even though I had an appointment the girls behind me once we walked in we're taken better care of. I had the 15% off from yelp and the lady ringing me up said she didn't know what that was and I tried to explain and she's like honey I'll take a $1 off for you if it's that serious. I came to try your salon and I definitely will not be back. I just felt very talked down to when I was trying to explain the yelp $15% off for new customers. I don't get my nails done much so when I do it's a nice treat to myself. This was a very rushed experience overall. The salon was a bit messy too. read more

I used to love this place for the quality, and friendly staff. However a Fact: TC Nails recently lost several of their staff. On my last visit when I asked to see my favorite Tech, I was informed she was on "vacation". Fact: I later found out she and several others left for another shop. The owner convinced me to let him give me a pedicure. However in my opinion, it was a terrible sloppy attempt. I still tipped him, but was given an attitude (I feel he was not happy with the amount). Then on top of that, I found out this Fact: The male owner who worked on my feet does NOT have a State license to do nails or pedicures. I already filed a report to the Cosmetology division of the NJ Consumer Affairs Department, as this is a violation. In my opinion, TC Nails has gone down hill, I won't be back. read more

I am from Middlesex County, and my commute to T C Nails is about 30 minutes. I have been to many nail salons and never found "my girl" as friends of mine would say about their favorite nail tech. Not only am i obsessed with Laura's skill and customer service, but the whole staff at T C Nails is friendly and welcoming. A lot of nail salons in New Jersey are not welcoming, short with words and very cold, but this staff is the complete opposite. I will continue to travel the 30 minutes to get my pink and white by Laura and the TC nails staff. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! read more

Terrible customer service here! They are unbelievably rude despite all the money I pay to get my nails done there. I went recently and my nails started chipping after a week and a half. They promised they would fix it free of charge, yet when I went they told me I was lying and that my nails had to have been done a long time ago. They kept insisting I was lying and that they were going to check the cameras, all for chipped nails that was their fault to begin with! First time I went salon was fine....clean friendly fast same as most salons i have tried. Today i had an older gentlemen who was in such a rush he literally took my nails of so fast i have a cut across my pinky nail in the middle of my finger....ow and what the heck! Also took 5 minutes to stop bleeding....granted i know this can happen since your basically peeling off part of your nail when you get a new set but in eleven years of having my nails done this has never happened to me :( ok im an easy client wasnt going to fuss to much over having my nail ripped in half but now i was a little worried. What really made me not want to go back was this employee decided to be considerably rude and answer his phone three time while doing my nails....one of which he actually left the seat to walk outside to talk. Granted if i was drying my nails or he was working while talking on the phone i wouldnt even mention it. But gezz if i made him stop working three times so i could use my hands to text or leave the table in the middle of one of the steps he would have been pretty upset. Ok rude, rough, and honestly the worst experience ive had and ive used quiet a few different salons. Didn't do what i asked either....acrylic with gel topcoat....easy enough. Standard now days.....they should know what you had they are professionals...anyways he decided not to use the airbrush for the tips...painted them with white gel instead. Said it lasted longer....told him i always get the air brush...two weeks n they get filled anyways. Not sure why he did it anyways i dont remember being asked and since i really just wanted to get out of there i didnt fight much when he started. 40$ for removal (minor surgrey no charge) new acrylics (cut short barley past my finger) and gel white color on tip and clear gel top coat....8$ tip and the wisdom not to come back with so many other nail salons to try in this area. Hopefully the owner sees this and perhaps recommends handsfree devices to employees or has a chat with how rude it is. My time is also valuable and while im at work i do not leave my clients to awnser phone calls.... read more

Do not even make an appointment, as they are not honored unless you are the first appointment of the day. Walk ins are prioritized over regulars... you will call, they will say come right over, or give you an appointment time, but 90% of the time you wait. If you show your disappointment over this, you are blatantly laughed at. I know schedules can get complicated every now and then, but their time is always more important than yours and appointments are insignificant most of the time. Speaking as a regular customer of over three years- enough is enough! read more

Worst salon ever! They had a kid who looked no older than 15 working there. I thought he was just filling my station for a professional to come over and actually do the pedicure. Nope! HE was doing the pedicure and manicure! He had no idea what he was doing. I was in and out of there with both services before another lady had just her pedicure done. No brush or scrub on the feet, water was so cold even though I spoke up and asked him to make it warmer - and it was all very awkward because of his age. My manicure has chipped and turned in color after two short days. I don't know what type of top coat he used, but clearly it wasn't good because my pretty mint green has a brownish coating over it now. I was looking forward to getting my feet scrubbed and rubbed a little, and nothing. I had to ask him twice to remember to do my cuticles on my hands - his response was, in typical teenage fashion "yah, I am!" Pretty snotty too. I used to come here a long time ago and they were great!, recently I just started going back and the first 2 times were fine I went back last week for my regular fill and this time I had Lisa. I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she told me before we started that she had that color and could do it, after my filing and filling was done and it was time to paint my nails she handed me the basket of colors and told me to chose a color. I mentioned to her that before we started she had told me she had the color I wanted.... she then slid the basket of color samples closer to me and told me to look. I sucked it up and began to look even though I did not see the color... she then seemed frustrated that I was taking so long and walked away. When she returned I told her I didn't see it so instead I asked if she had the color "passion" by OPI (a very popular color) she told me yes and then AGAIN slid the basket back to me and told me to look. I told her that if she just looks at the tops of the OPI colors it will say the name of the color on it and if she can see if they have it and she said ok yeah and pointed tot he basket once again! At this point I was frustrated that I picked a random color and just wanted to get out of there. It also seems that every time I go the price changes every time even if I get the same exact thing. I will not be returning and have found a new more professional salon right down the street. read more
