Binta was wonderful, but I'm not thrilled with my results from the lift and tint, and after a Brazilian I'm very very red and bumpy 3 days later. Essentially my full leg and underarm wax were flawless. Binta is friendly and kind and very professional. The lift and tint were mediocre at best and even after a return trip for a second free of charge tint (normally like $30), my lashes look unchanged. I told her I wasn't happy and that while there is minimal lift and color, it is not enough of a noticeable difference to be worth the $110 I spent. I was told my lashes are very fine and that's why it didn't take ‍

I am a colorist who had to do her own color through Covid. My boyfriend thought it would make a nice anniversary gift to get my hair "color corrected" by calling and making an appointment for "just a few foils on the top". Mind you, I have the head of hair that people have said no. It's just too thick. Jay somehow ended up with me booked as his last client of the evening - he didn't fret whatsoever even tho both him and I (as a colorist) knew this was going to take some time! He never gave me an attitude about my hair being thick and doing a FULL HEAD OF HIGHLIGHTS plus whatever other magic he did. This is the ONE TIME I DID NOT have to worry and even tho it took quite some time, He never got an attitude, and he was thorough. I should've reviewed the first and second time I went in. However I did go back for a blowout and left with hair I am obsessed with - for the holiday weekend! So I will put pics of after the first session at the salon and then 2 days ago when I went in for a blowout! Thank you so much Jay and Lisa! You two run a beautiful shop and are friendly courteous and I have gotten so many compliments!!!!!

The hairstylist did not know what those were yet proceeded anyways to bleach my very dark black hair into WHITEblonde via bleach for over an hour. I didn't say anything because I haven't gotten any sort of bleach in years so I decided to trust the "professional", boy was that a mistake. After 3 hours I had silver gray strips and was asked if I liked it. I politely told her that I did not and it was not what I asked for and if she could make it ash brown. She proceeded to smile and stare at me like I was stupid and told me that the photo i showed her looked like my hair. It in fact did not. I again calmly explained to her for the 5th time I wanted my hair to be ash brown. This is a very specific and widely recognized color in the hair dye industry. I continued to explain what ash brown was, a light cool toned brown, kind of like milk tea. She then went to the back and put dye in my hair. I did not know what color it was but I was hoping it was the color I asked for. It was in fact not. I asked after she put it on and she told me it was medium blonde??? Cherry on top, she told me it was the same color she had in her hair!! Oh wow. I again did not say anything because I had been there for so long I just wanted to go home. She continued to say that what I asked for was not what I "truly wanted"and I didn't "know what I want" because she said I suit the warm tone better. I in fact look horrible in warm tones, I wear silver jewelry and am a deep winter complexion. I think she thinks I must look in warm tones because that's what she look better in I guess idk. As a person of color, do not come here, my Asian hair is now completely damaged and I spent $235 on fried hair that I am not happy with, wasting 3 1/2 hours of my time. I still left a decent tip and paid all that money but now regret being so polite about it. This is my first time writing a review ever but I am so upset, I had to say something atleast so others will not make the same mistake. I regret ever walking foot into this building.

I went home and looked it up online. It looked like a place I'd like to go to, so I did! I booked my first appointment for a leg wax with Morgan. On the date and time of my appointment, I arrived and checked in. Shortly after, Morgan came out to get me. My leg wax went well and as she was waxing me, I mentioned that I was pretty much due for my next Brazilian, so I'm unsure why I didn't just book it with my leg wax. She mentioned that we had a little extra time in our appointment slot, and she could squeeze it in. Perfect! I ended up going back on another date to get my eyebrows done and that was a pretty good experience as well. Being that I was an avid customer at another wax place before moving to this area, here's a few things I wish I'd Wax That had to offer that I'm accustomed to: - The use of a cooling gel on those really sensitive areas (such as your upper lip) post-wax - Offering packages/bundles of services. For example, being able to get your eyebrows, Brazilian, and legs bundled together at one price with a slight discount for doing them all together - A frequent customer punch card...after a certain amount of visits, you get a discount on your next visit Nevertheless, I think I found my place...at least for now. Every salon I receive a pedicure at, the technician and I always have a small laugh at how ticklish my feet are initially. This happened here as well, however the difference was my nail tech decided that throughout the ENTIRE pedicure it would be a great idea to randomly tickle the sole of my foot with his fingers, laughing to himself while I sat there very uncomfortably. Honestly, who does this? Even if he was or wasn't a man I would have hated it all the same; it was extremely creepy and evidently he does it to other women as well, as shown by other reviews. While I waited, I had to fill out a form which goes over a few medical things and asks if there's any particular areas you'd like them to focus on or avoid. Next, I was called in for my massage. Overall, the massage itself was very relaxing and just what I needed. After it was done, I sat in the relaxation room for a few minutes and then I went to change and head out.
