I absolutely LOVE this place! They do an incredible job every time I go, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, the interior is beautiful, never had to wait a long time either. Staff is very accommodating. They have patience and are willing to do anything that will make the customer happy! They always severe coffee and wine on days they are a bit busier. Love them! Never going anywhere els

Jojo doing the "jelly pedicure"....she lied and said I requested for a longer massage so she charged me $65 with NO POLISH!

$65 PEDICURE?! Jelly pedicure. No polish. Nail cut down and filed. The lady that did my pedi name was Jojo. I asked for the jelly pedicure, no polish. It was listed on their price list for $45. I made it clear I just want the service done with no polish. She said okay. I didn't request anything else. So when it's time to pay, the total was $65. I asked what did the service cover? Jojo told the lady at the counter that I requested for a longer massage....I said no ma'am I didn't request for nothing but NO POLISH on my toes. The lady at the counter kept apologizing because she knew I was right. If the prices START at $45 then SAY that. Don't lie on the customer trying to manipulate me into paying more for a service that I DIDNT request! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

My friend went to get her nails done on Friday june 11th. She had a nice older gentleman do her nails and picked two color he told me to go with the opi that it's a better brand which i did. After he did her pedicure they went to his work station to do the manicure which was a natural color. As he was doing her manicure she notice 2 of her nails on her toe had purple/ black dot on the side of them, and asked him what was that he laughed and said he didn't know but he'll fix it for her. the owner noticed what was happening and she spoke to him in their native language. She dried her nails and drove home 3 miles. when she got home the other toes nails were doing the same thing . She asked a few people if they ever had this ever happened to them and they all said no. The next day she went back to the nail place spoke to the owner and she told her it was the nail polish and said its the weather and this happens with the opi nail polish. She also told her that her nails were peeling already and only had her manicure one day. She did offer to paint her nails again but she told her she didn't have the time that day and to please give her a refund refund, she said she wiouldgive only give her 10 dollar to which she paid 45. she said they spend time massaging her legs so she only got 10 dollars. She said nail polish fault so she only got 10 dollars. She told her she was going to post picture so everyone can see. she told her to post whatever she wanted and never come back. We would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. Horrible customer service by manager who obviously doesn't care about clients satisfaction. She should have received full refund. Don't go.

The staff is so nice and the best priced I found!! A full acrylic set was $45. My cousin got a beautiful design on all her fingers and a full acrylic set and paid $50.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I came in for a pedicure and gel manicure. They sat me at a pedicure chair and left me there for 30 minutes. I only had 1.5 hours in total and since they hadn't started yet I said I would skip the pedicure and just do the gel mani. They made another woman move and put me in her seat for me to wait for someone to come. A man finally came to do my nails and used an electric tool to cut my cuticles even though he didn't even touch my cuticles with it. They are still very much intact and in need of trimming. Then he brushed a nail file over my nails and left cracks and unevenness all over the place. I asked him to fix it and he skipped nails and then I just asked if I could just do it myself. Then he pulled out the gel base coat and I said, what about soaking my nails and actually cutting my cuticles? And he responded, "you're in a rush, aren't you?".....I walked out.

My nails broke about 5 days after getting them done. Great service but the lady that did my nails was horrible! Definitely don't recommend!

Love the organic gel manicures. People have always been polite. Sometimes the wait is a little long but overall clean and effecient.

My nail tech, Veronica, did a great job clipping my cuticles. I like that it's very well done, with no cuticles roughly trimmed like others sometimes do. I was surprised with the poor reviews this salon has gotten over the years, but I'm satisfied with my gel manicure, so I'll come back again. Just a comment about the receptionist, not sure if she was having a bad day, but a welcoming smile would be great next time. As a receptionist, your job is to make your customers feel welcome.

I made an appointment online for a gel manicure and regular pedicure at Onyx with Irma, and it…read moreturned into the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Right from the beginning, the experience felt rude and dismissive. Irma told me to just give her the nail color number. When I asked if she could quickly compare a picture of the color to the swatch to see if it was close, she barely looked at it and immediately said yes. Her attitude throughout the appointment was cold and unprofessional. Then, when she started my manicure, she began applying a rubber base gel instead of regular gel polish. I asked what she was using, and she told me it was rubber base gel. I explained that I never booked that service and that my appointment was for a standard gel manicure. She insisted I was wrong, went to the front desk to check, and came back claiming my appointment was for rubber base. I then showed her my appointment confirmation proving it was for a regular gel manicure. After that, her demeanor completely changed. She seemed visibly annoyed while removing the rubber base she had already started applying. She began using the drill on my nails aggressively enough that it actually burned, and I had to pull my hand away. Meanwhile, the manager was sitting only a couple chairs away watching the entire situation and made absolutely no effort to step in or address what was happening. Once the manicure was finished, I went to the front desk where the receptionist again claimed my appointment was for rubber base. I showed her my confirmation, and she eventually admitted that someone at the salon had changed my service because they "assumed" I wanted rubber base again since I had gotten it previously. When I asked why nobody simply called to ask me first, there was no real answer. The receptionist said she would get the manager, but he never even came over to speak to me personally. Instead, I was told they would "note my account" that I don't want rubber base and offer me a discount. I explained that there was nothing to discount because I never requested that service in the first place, and the rubber base had already been removed from the few nails where it had been applied. Despite the entire experience, I still tipped Irma 20% because I respect people who work in service. She literally grabbed the money from my hand and didn't even say thank you. Not once did anyone apologize for changing my service without permission, for the rude treatment, or for the overall negative experience. They were perfectly happy to take my money, though. Nail services are expensive, and customers are paying for a professional experience. I'm not asking for special treatment, but I do expect basic respect and accountability. Irma's attitude, combined with the manager's complete lack of concern over a mistake made by his staff, is unacceptable. I used to come to this salon years ago under previous management and wanted to give it another chance, but that was clearly a mistake. The customer service from some employees is extremely unprofessional, and their prices are no better than many comparable salons. I'll be spending my money elsewhere. And honestly, don't be fooled by all the fancy new names for their services. It feels more like a way to justify charging higher prices than offering anything truly special.
