Horrible service with Roro. I have been going here for 2 years and will probably never return after today. Very rude and aggressive service, I politely brought it to the attention of management and they were incredibly dismissive. She made me bleed & My nails are also very uneven and when I politely asked to correct, I was yelled at. Never again. There are many other better options for nail service in the area. I wasn't going to write a review, but people should know. I stopped going to this salon because the products they use are unhygienic. Something called a "greenie" developed on my thumb nail after getting a dip gel done here. The staff at the front desk were disgusting and rude. They treated me as if it was somehow my fault for them doing this to me! I had to put anti fungal cream on my nail to get rid of it. Not a big deal in the end, but my doctor did confirm this most likely happened due to this salon using a product on me that was contaminated and suggested I find a different nail salon. My manicure did not last a day and a half even after getting it redone (which I appreciated) because it did not take the first time (chipped and the paint basically fell off half of my nails-I did not wash dishes or do anything harsh on my nails). I spent hundreds of dollars over the past few years at this establishment since they opened. After the second time, the paint fell off within a day and a half I asked for a reimbursement of the regular manicure (not very expensive just the principle as I did not get what I paid for) and they would not reimburse me for a regular manicure as it did not even last 36 hours. The manager was extremely rude. I have never written a negative review, but with her lack of kindness and consideration I felt it was important. I will be heading back to Spa Aree where they treat their patrons kindly. read more

I went backkk for a lil fill and color change... went a lil classy, girly girl type shi and Gigi killed it. I showed her a pic of these "milky nails" and she matched it perfectly. Also gave me a birthday present bec I said they were my bday nails so so nice. Only possible comment is I didn't get them filed underneath so it's a little bulky but I don't rlly mind too much. I've come here a few times over the past few months for gel manicures and pedicures and I keep coming back because I like the salon. Today I had Max as my nail tech and I don't want to see anyone else. SHE IS AMAZING! I saw a picture on the Holmdel Nails site and thought what a cute design and she duplicated it perfectly. Joanne did my nails and she is lovely. That's about it as far as the positive experience here. The front desk staff is so snooty and rude they can barely answer the phone. I went back a day after my first appointment because I didn't love the design on one of my fingernails. when I walked in for the change the front desk staff was laughing and basically mocking me for wanting it fixed. I had it fixed and now four days later one of the nails is cracked right in the middle. I called to see if someone could repair my nail and they're telling me not until later today. I have mixed feelings about this space. Although they consistently do a great job with creating any and all nail designs I bring in, my last three gel fills have lifted within DAYS of the manicure. It feels like these ladies are rushing through with basic technique, but still charging you a fortune for the nails. I actually gave another review at 3 stars but now that I am home, I wish I could give 0 stars. I am very upset. I was excited to go to this place because I heard so many great things about it. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. Not only was my pedicure rushed, 30 minutes maybe, but the technician was so careless that I now have broken skin forming scabs where the skin meets the bottom of the nails from his filing my nails and my skin! The paint job is careless at best and I'm leaving for vacation and my feet look awful. I had to ask several times to put nail polish remover to get the moisturizer off my nails so that the polish would last. I wish I had my money back. I could have gone somewhere else. Usually when I go to a nail salon, someone offers to help with a color. Some help and direction about what colors and types of polish are located on which wall. But no one did. The receptionist kept coming over to ask me if I was ready. So I rushed, picked a color I really didn't want (my fault) and went into the back where the chairs were. The tech was very nice but he didn't even ask me if the water temp was okay (it was lukewarm) and the massage was almost totally on one leg and then a very short time on the other. Stupid me-still gave him a tip. I don't realize how really bad it was until I got home! I know I sound a little over the top but pedicures are pricey now. It's supposed to be a relaxing experience. I felt the pedicure was very rushed. He hardly massaged my legs and didn't try to remove the dead skin my heels. I was looking forward to returning because of the close proximity but there are other salons around. Maybe there are other technicians that are better but I will never know. read more

Don't be fooled by fake reviews. Yes this salon is new, clean and enormous. I received a gift card so I went for a pedicure. Booked online and chose the tech with the least availability, assuming she was the best. Find out upon arrival she does not do pedicures, so I was given the next available tech. Pedicure lasted 20 minutes and was the worst I've ever received.(and I am not a kid) The massage was a minute long and he barely put any pressure, skipped over the toes entirely. Even though the place is huge, they sat the 3 of us getting pedicures all together. read more

Agree with another customer. Place looks great, clean and big. It all ends there. We made an appointment for my wife and I for pedicures. We specifically said we wanted one tech that specialized in acrylic for a partial toe nail. Winnie was the tech on my wife. She only spoke in her native tongue and did not attempt to work on her toe and acrylic. It is horribly uneven and after my wife asked her to fix it, she only flied the ends of it and never used a dremel or built the rest of her toenail. She didn't even take the paint off her toes so she simply painted over some of the old paint. When she attempted to do her manicure, Winnie suddenly didn't understand any English, only spoke it her native tongue and just started to filed her nails. My wife told her to stop and was in tears with how bad her toe looked. When we told the.girls at the desk before we paid they didn't seem to concerned with the fact my wife hated how her toes came out, just wanted to make sure I made payment. We won't be going back again And will tell friends and family to stay far away from this business. read more

Decided to pop into Holmdel Nails after running errands for a pedicure after seeing their grand opening sign outside and was met with the most beautiful atmosphere I've ever seen in a nail salon! The service was 11/10, everyone was so nice. I was wearing shorts and the AC was on so they offered me a towel to put over my legs. The pedicure seats were massage chairs and there was a wireless charging station for my phone attached to it. The experience was wonderful and I came out very satisfied with my pedicure. Will be coming back! Highly recommend this place if you're feeling like trying out a new nail salon in town. read more

I went to Holmdel Nails yesterday as I just came home from vacation and was in desperate need of a manicure and pedicure. I usually go to a spa in Manalapan and couldn't get an appointment until Sunday. Holmdel nails fit me in for a 6 pm appointment. The salon is so clean and organized. They had so many color options for both gel and regular color. I had Feng for both my manicure and pedicure, she was wonderful and did an excellent job. I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and she exceeded my expectations. They are having 30% off right now as it is their grand opening. I highly recommend this salon. read more
