When I went to checkout, she charged me for the price of full face + eyebrows. She had the opportunity to share with me what "sides of face" vs "full face" meant in the studio when I said the exact term "sides of my face" and when I pointed out what areas I wanted waxed. She asked me if I wanted my chin waxed but I said no, I only needed the sides of my face done. If I thought I was getting a full face wax, I wonder if she waxed my chin, if she would have charged me an additional price for chin. So there's plenty of room for communication on pricing and the ambiguous services with no descriptions online. It's easy to mix up what does "full face" mean vs "sides of face" vs "sideburns", etc. and that "full face" also does not mean eyebrows are included. Had I known what I was being charged for, I would not have come here to begin with, so it's disheartening to have given away $75 plus a cash tip to this place just to get my sideburns/cheeks + eyebrows waxed, and no other part of my face, when I could have found better pricing elsewhere. Also their online pricing was different from what they were charging me in the system, and there's no signs or brochures in person that show their latest raised prices. The last thing is the site says you get $20 off your first service as a new customer, but in person, they said it only applies to hair coloring services, which COULD be easily clarified online, but It's just online bait, which is another reason why I initially came to try out this place.

Deanna even suggested pearl bobby pins, after I said I didn't have any hair piece yet, which completed the look and my aesthetic. On the day of, Lock and Shade had a team of 2 (Deanna and Lindsey) help with my bridal party's hair (5 girls including me). Blaise came up with a timeline, which was perfect. Deanna and Lindsey were AWESOME!!!! We got to get ready at the salon, which is beautiful and PERFECT for pictures. It was an amazing morning that I have such amazing memories from with my sisters and mamas. Each person's vision for their hair was different and each looked EXACTLY like their inspiration pictures. Everyone was beyond elated. They helped touch up anyone who needed it before we left to ensure all the girls felt beautiful and confident! We even finished early and were AHEAD of schedule.
