It was my first-ever Brazilian, and my waxer had the WORST attitude I've ever experienced. I don't want to say her name or publicly embarrass her, but wow... that was horrible. Immediately, she was nasty, and I tried to tell her that I was nervous about getting my wax. She just looked at me and told me to undress with her in the room, which I wasn't prepared for. She had absolutely no warmth to her. She didn't count down at all and just started ripping the wax off. I yelped and kept apologizing, but I also told her that she never even counted down. Her response was, "Yeah, I'm not gonna--and if you keep saying sorry, then I'll be mad."...Okay. I just kept telling her that I was nervous, and she said, "If you're so nervous, then why are you getting this done?" Okay... wow. Then the kicker was when I was trying to have a conversation with her because it was awkward and quiet. I asked, "Have you ever had difficult clients before?" She just stared at me. I then said, "Wow, you're mean." She didn't offer any post-wax instructions--I had to be the one to ask. Overall, I've worked in the service industry for 10+ years, and Jesus, I would NEVER act the way she did. I'm honestly still in shock. Your first wax is already uncomfortable, and she just made the entire experience so much worse.

I had a UV gel fill with Aling, and she did an amazing job. My daughter got a gel manicure that turned out beautifully as well. We both enjoyed pedicures that were relaxing, thorough, and expertly done. The salon is beautifully decorated, spotless, and offers a fantastic selection of colors and high-quality products. I also treated myself to a 15-minute chair massage, and it was absolutely worth it--so relaxing and performed by a very skilled therapist. This is officially our new favorite nail salon down the shore. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

When I went to checkout, she charged me for the price of full face + eyebrows. She had the opportunity to share with me what "sides of face" vs "full face" meant in the studio when I said the exact term "sides of my face" and when I pointed out what areas I wanted waxed. She asked me if I wanted my chin waxed but I said no, I only needed the sides of my face done. If I thought I was getting a full face wax, I wonder if she waxed my chin, if she would have charged me an additional price for chin. So there's plenty of room for communication on pricing and the ambiguous services with no descriptions online. It's easy to mix up what does "full face" mean vs "sides of face" vs "sideburns", etc. and that "full face" also does not mean eyebrows are included. Had I known what I was being charged for, I would not have come here to begin with, so it's disheartening to have given away $75 plus a cash tip to this place just to get my sideburns/cheeks + eyebrows waxed, and no other part of my face, when I could have found better pricing elsewhere. Also their online pricing was different from what they were charging me in the system, and there's no signs or brochures in person that show their latest raised prices. The last thing is the site says you get $20 off your first service as a new customer, but in person, they said it only applies to hair coloring services, which COULD be easily clarified online, but It's just online bait, which is another reason why I initially came to try out this place.
