My daughter and I visited for the first time, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and right on time for our appointment. I had a UV gel fill with Aling, and she did an amazing job. My daughter got a gel manicure that turned out beautifully as well. We both enjoyed pedicures that were relaxing, thorough, and expertly done. The salon is beautifully decorated, spotless, and offers a fantastic selection of colors and high-quality products. I also treated myself to a 15-minute chair massage, and it was absolutely worth it--so relaxing and performed by a very skilled therapist. This is officially our new favorite nail salon down the shore. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it! read more

I'm really particular when it comes to nail salons but Rock Nails N Spa checks all the boxes! It's clean, super modern, and they accept walk-ins. The manicurists I've seen are all super gentle and the manicure doesn't take forever. It's $23 for a regular manicure which to me is a good price considering how good of a job they do. I haven't been in for a pedicure yet, so I can't speak to that or their other services. read more

I've been really wanting to try it here for a while, I'm new to the area. Made an appointment online and they gave me a different person than who I booked with. I've never been here, so I guess it didn't matter. I started with the classic pedicure as that's the best way for me to try a place out. Literally fastest pedicure in my life. I was done in 20 minutes. This is just really disappointing. The place is beautiful which is a positive and I really wanted to like it here. I wish I had a better experience, but I'm honestly quite put off as to how rushed everything was. I asked at checkout if 20 minutes was normal for their pedicures and was told it pretty much was. I have only done two reviews prior to this one on yelp. After several months and several nail technicians, I found a couple I loved. I always had good service and if there were problems, they had me come in to fix the nails. Fast forward to today, I had a horrible experience. I called to get a fill, however I left with a new set. The technician was rude from the moment I met with her. I felt uncomfortable, I could feel her annoyance. What topped off this experience was being told I had to get a new set. for some reason getting a fill was not an option. I felt cornered and left to make a decision between a full set, a regular gel manicure, or to just remove everything off my nails. I was in awe of this treatment, I had never experienced this before. Needless to say, I was charged for a full set and gel polish. That is disappointing, dishonest, and greedy behavior. Unfortunately, I don't plan on ever coming back, which is even more disappointing leaving the techs I really like. *there was another customer who had a similar experience* BEWARE. read more

Mediocre gel manicure. The salon is very clean, which I appreciate. However, whenever I've scheduled an appointment here the person I've booked with is suddenly unavailable and I get someone random. I try not to make a big deal but what is the point of selecting a manicurist in advance then? The service was very rushed. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. After taking a closer look, polish is nowhere close to the cuticle/edges and the top edge was left uncapped. I keep my nails short but haven't had issues in the past with my nails being adequately painted. The hand massage part of the service felt quick and lazy. Pretty disappointing, I don't get my nails done often and wanted to treat myself to something special. read more

I spent $100 between a $40 gel manicure which faded on vacation within 2-3 days and a $60 pedicure with a callus treatment. I was so excited about the callus treatment since I was going on vacation for 1 week but within 1-2 days it looked like nothing changed. So much for the special treatment! Rock was truly overpriced for a faded manicure and failed callus treatment. This was my second visit and I decided to give it another try after my bad experience with May. She was so upset I only wanted a regular manicure (and kept trying to push gel) that she rushed and did a poor job. I won't be returning. I am writing because I am very disappointed with the service my daughters and I received on 4/15/22.  I made an appointment for myself gel mani/pedi and 4 little girls mani/pedis.  We all has vacation plans the following week for Easter break. My gel polish chipped on my middle finger while on vacation after a week.  2 of the little girls got gel mani/pedis in hopes theirs would last BUT the 8 year old had 2 different toes completely come off on 2 of her feet after 4 days.  2 of the men that serviced my daughters were RUDE and I did tell your front desk staff before I left, yet I still tipped them.  I spent over $300 total and received terrible service and gel polish that lasted LESS then a week.  I had a bad feeling the gel polish wouldn't last on the little girls because even though I paid $69 per kid they were done much sooner than I was. read more
